*THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ* I cannot say enough about Chris S, Rob S, the team at Defense Tax Group. I had been diagnosed with late stage cancer, had no choice but to immediately stop working so I could start treatment and had a past tax bill I had been trying to pay down. I then started to incur enormous medical and financial debt faster than I thought possible and to say I felt like I was drowning is an understatement. I really had no idea how I was going to take care of all of these things and then I was hit again and had to take my accumulative work bonus in one lump (rather then paid out over time) which made my new tax bill completely unmanageable, unrealistic and I now I felt like I was actually drowning. Someone recommended Defense Was Group and they completely changed the course of my life. Not only did they help me by putting together an offer and compromise but they were kind and patient with me when I really wasn't feeling well and made me feel comfortable and supported during this process. Their service was worth every single penny and in the end their fee and what they worked out with the IRS cost me less then half of what I would have had to pay the bureau, I no longer had this hanging over my head and believe that I may not have beat my cancer if I someone reputable had not helped completely resolve this which took a great deal of unneeded stress off me. Lastly, and I don't think the general public knows this, but when someone negotiates a payment plan with the IRS (for their full tax bill) on their own, it only has a bandaid effect and not only will they still owe their original amount but will only be paying the interest and will never get out from under this while the amount they have to pay only grows larger each year.

I had an incredible experience with Defense Tax Group! I had procrastinated and neglected several years of personal income tax filings and this was looming over my head like a black cloud. I had 6 years of unfiled returns, I fealt helpless and the task of completing just one year...let alone 6 years, was daunting and seemed impossible to complete at the time. I was very fortunate to be referred to Defense Tax Group by someone that I respected and I made the most important call I’ve made in quite a few years! Defense Tax Group immediately put a team of experts on my case. I was sssured that I wouldn’t be victim to exhorbitant late fees, IRS harassment and that my tax situation would be brought up to date in a timely fashion. They were incredibly easy to work with and they got me organized and were even able to get me a refund! If I hadn’t called Defense Tax Group I would still have years of unfiled taxes and I’d be living in fear of the IRS and mounting unsettled tax issues. Tax Defense fixed my problem and even got me money back! It was a phenomenal experience and they’ll be handling my taxes for many years to come. Thank you Defense Tax Team!!!

Before working with them, The I.R.S. had me very frustrated and confused with absolutely no idea how to work my way through the situation I was in. I hired this firm and it was the best decision I have made. Of course I was very skeptical at first but my case manager Sarah was able to guide me through this with clarity and respect. So, 8 years of back taxes piled up from a company that illegally 1099'ed me......Couldn't maintain a bank account, never got any current refunds......A real pain. I was referred to Defense Tax by my mail man. I was a bit skeptical but extremely satisfied in the end. Defense Tax settles my $56,000 debt with the IRS for $5,000 and got a very reasonable payment plan to the FTB. I was relieved an actual attorney over saw my "case". Everyone was 100% professional. I was 65k in arrears to the IRS. They had a garnishment in place. The money they were taking was basically covering interest and penalty fees. I finally decided to look into tax relief. After calling around to a few companies I decided to go with Defense Tax. The main reason was an actual attorney was handling my “case”. Defense Tax represented me in an Offer In Compromise. When all was done and said they settled my 65k debt for 5k. Needless to say I was / am estatic with the results.
