The attorney and assistant (Peter and Karlin) were professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. I was confident my concerns would be mitigated due to their experience with both the state and federal authorities. While I debated securing the payment plans and abatement requests on my own, I'm grateful I chose Fortess to provide these services. They were able to secure the lowest rate payment plan, and write and deliver the abatement letter that exceeded my expectations. Both tasks could not have been completed successfully and to such a thorough, professional, and timely degree without their aid. They were able to coordinate with the IRS during the pandemic, while it was challenging for the general public to contact the IRS during the shutdown. I highly recommend Fortress and their team with any past tax issues.

Personally I never really had any experience with Fortress, but my Dad did. After he passed away in October, I was looking through his financials and trying to make head or tails of a mountain of paperwork and I came across email from one of Fortress' employees Sayward. The emails were of my dad telling Sayward how much he appreciated her and how much she helped him in his time of need. He went on to sa y how professional she was and how he was pleased with their service. After he passed away I had to call her and get information on what was going on because we had no clue. Sayward was so professional and apologized for my loss and while talking to her I felt as if she really knew my family. Fortress was good to my dad and helped him in a time of need and I will forever be grateful for Fortress and their employees.

I'm writing today to share my experience with Fortress Tax Relief thus far. I began working them the late last year and to date everything they've promised, has been delivered. And, though they may be a little pricey, I've found them worth every penny. They respond timely, namely Jenny H. and Jeremy D., and they do exactly what they say they will. I'd give them 5 stars any day with the service I've receive so far. Throughout the process of trying to complete an offer in compromise, the IRS filed a tax lien against me. When I brought it to the attention of the team at Fortress Tax Relief, they promptly contacted the appropriate parties within the IRS and with 2 weeks the lien was withdrawn. I'm still awaiting a response on the Offer in Compromise, but feel confident with the the representation I've chosen and would not hesitate to recommend them and their services to anyone I know.

Fortress, along with a long list of tax relief competitors, markets directly to businesses against whom a tax lien has been filed. Many competitors' standard operating procedure is to drag all competing companies' names through the mud. Fortress refrains from stooping to their level and joining in the mud-slinging game. Our reputation speaks for itself. The fact that a competitor actually endorsed us is almost unheard of in this industry, but actually happens somewhat regularly to us.
