Small business can be very risky, and the consequences to that risk can be great whether good or bad. Sometimes things don't go as you hoped, and despite well intentions, tax burdens can begin to build up and spiral out of control. It can happen to anyone. It happened to me. I owed the IRS over $300k in back taxes, and penalties before meeting David and Sayward at Fortress Financial. With David's expertise and Sayward's hard work, we were able to settle with the IRS for only $5k!!! I don't know how they do it, but I recommend Fortress Financial for any tax issue big or small.

Overall, Fortress Tax relief is a reputable and reliable tax relief company that truly helps you pay as little money as possible to the government. Fortress Tax has maintained a great reputation for protection (against things like back levies and enforced collections), affordable plans to pay back debt, and even for their free consultation! They do exactly what a tax relief company should do, and that is to help you navigate through the murky waters of financial tax debt and they do so personally - your case will be handled by a proficient tax attorney. All in all, satisfied with Fortress and my only conceivable drawback is that you have to be over 15000$ in debt in order to use their services.

Thank you so much for sharing about your positive experience working with our staff. We actually will consider accepting cases with liabilities of less than $15,000 on a case-by-case basis. Often, our fee on a case below $15,000 would be better spent by paying down the liability, and we do not accept fees for cases where we don't think our services are worth our fee. We did accept a case a while back where the liability was only $8,000. However, without our work, that client would have lost his business.

A "Michelle" from Fortress Financial called the company I work for several days ago. I knew it was a solicitation and asked directly if it was a solicitation. Michelle lied to me and said that it wasn't a solicitation. I asked if it was regarding tax matters and she replied in the affirmative. I then informed her that I was aware that her call, in fact, was to solicit business and asked her to put us on their "Do Not Call" List as I've been told to do by these tax resolution companies. The reason for this negative review is because these companies, Fortress Financial included, are very aggressive with their tactics and flat out LIE and say they aren't soliciting business when they actually are. This needs to be stopped. I did record the conversation and can provide the recording if needed. Today, 6/07/19, I received another call from Fortress Financial even though I told them to put them on their Do Not Call list. I have a picture of the phone display showing they called today and recorded the conversation even though the person on the other line said nothing and just hung up on me.

After the IRS issued liens and seizure notices for liabilities in excess of $1M dating back to 2006-2008, it was time to get this issue resolved. You can imagine our heartache, fear, and loss for what to do after many floods had destroyed most records that old. After much research, we hired Fortress Tax Relief and worked with David F. and Heather W. to bring this issue to resolution. They were professional, dealt directly with the IRS Revenue Officer, provided sound legal advice, and always contacted us or replied in less than 1 business day. We even located old receipts & were able to reconstruct some of our tax records using the IRS reconstruction method, which helped us prove the liability was substantially less than stated. Plus, the IRS expiration date (CSED) was fast approaching. While dealing with this, my husband had a heart attack and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When it was all said and done, the liens and subseqent seizures were released. We have a new start and are excited, relieved, and blessed. We truly felt like a "David & Goliath" moment had occurred.
