Fidelity Tax Relief seems capable enough to provide the breadth of services that top tax relief companies provide. The tax experts at Fidelity Tax Relief can help clients receive penalty abatement.

The Fidelity Resolution Model

Fidelity Tax Relief demonstrates a dedication to customer service through its implementation of the Fidelity Resolution Model (FRM). The model details a 5-step method for helping taxpayers resolve tax debt:

  • Define
  • Measure
  • Analyze
  • Implement
  • Control

Fidelity Tax Relief will start your tax resolution process with a free 15-minute consultation. The company claims to be able to relieve tax problems within 24 hours of the free consultation.

After the consultation, the investigation phase begins. During this time, Fidelity Tax Relief begins its client protection measures and contacts the IRS on behalf of its clients and begins to review options for each client’s specific case.

Near the end of the process, the tax resolution experts at Fidelity Tax Relief get your paperwork in order to achieve compliance with the IRS and provides the most personalized tax relief possible for the customer.

Availability

The company operates in all 50 states and has tax professionals available to help taxpayers fight IRS debt penalties such as wage garnishments, tax liens, and bank levies.

Family-Owned and Operated

The Bad

  • No 24/7 Call Center
  • Transparency Issues

No 24/7 Call Center

Unfortunately, Fidelity Tax Relief does not operate a call center over the weekend. Customers can call in anytime between 9 am to 5 pm on Monday through Friday.

Transparency Issues

Though Fidelity Tax Relief does seem transparent about the extent of its services and does not offer a price range for services. The company did write an article that sought to answer the question of cost, but stopped short of giving actual numbers, saying simply that “it depends.”

While cost does vary according to individual tax debt circumstances in the tax relief industry, some tax relief companies have been able to provide an estimated price range for each type of service they offer.

The Bottom Line

Fidelity Tax Relief has the makings of a good tax relief company. Because it is a smaller, family operated company, there aren't many Fidelity Tax Relief reviews to examine customer service. The few customer reviews found online are mixed, which is to be expected with tax relief companies. Until Fidelity Tax Relief reviews become more common, it will be difficult to measure the company's quality of customer service.

If Fidelity Tax Relief were more open about prices, we would be more inclined to recommend the company to struggling taxpayers. We recommend potential customers ask about Fidelity Tax Relief's free consultation and compare prices and services to other top-rated tax relief companies.

You will be making a HUGE MISTAKE using their services in ANYWAY! Go to other sites to see very accurate and revealing reviews! I will go to 50,000 feet for this review. Potential clients go to them because they are overwhelmed, poor, confused, and feel hopeless. You think a company performing these kinds of services would have empathy and understanding. THEY DON'T!!!! They fee you to death. Little to nothing is in writing. That way they can call you a liar and allows them to lie CONSTANTLY. They try to make it look like they are helping you by CONSTANTLY asking you to fax in information with promises that their (ONE CPA?) will negotiate with IRS and your state taxes. A month goes by. NOTHING! You call to inquire about your status. They then stall again by asking you to fax in more information. I have faxed in CA "Power of Attorney' THREE times!!!! As a result of their disorganization, apathy, carelessness, and ignorance; they ruined an arrangement that "I" negotiated with the Franchise Tax Board. Since FTR said they could negotiate a better deal. They instead fouled everything up. Now I am slapped with a $19k lien. So I have to sell my house to pay it. That leaves me "HOMELESS" at 65 years old! All they do is talk!!!! Nothing gets done. Oh I forgot, I had to "pay them" over $3 k in fees and service. How can you sue. You have no money!!! They know that and take advantage of it. PLEASE BEWARE! If I can save one person from being burned it was worth my time. After working with the IRS and the Franchise Tax Board myself prior to FTR, seriously, you can do better yourself. They are difficult to get ahold of, but once you do I found the individuals understanding, empathetic and very easy to work with. If persistent and honest, you might be surprised with your own results.

I am very disgruntled. I spoke with Omar on November 13th. I signed up. I put a hold on their services with Jenny. There has been bo correspondence until 5hey decided to take money from my account without my consent. Now I have spoken with Frank, Yesenia, Erica and never Yelena who they said was handling my account. Called several times and she never would come to the phone. Always a message saying she will call me back. That never happened. I called again and spoke with Erica who was not custoner friendly and called me a liar. In short they took my 150$ and refuse to refund it. Stating they were already working on it. I never received any correspondence about my account they simply took my money. FRAUD is what this is.

ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We paid them $1600.00 in April 2018, and just got our resolution. The amount is exactly what it was when we started over a year ago. They didn't save us ANYTHING, and we paid them $1600.00 to do nothing for us. Don't let the sales people talk you into this. They make all kinds of promises and it sounds good, but the fact is they don't help you. I've never been so dissapointed in a company, and they should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage like this. Absolutely NO customer service at all.
