YouTube is great to find anything you want to see. However, I disagree with their policies regarding monetization, as well as criteria to ban content. Their is extremely sexually explicit material that remains on YouTube even without age restrictions. But opposing political views get banned.

I hate the ads. I especially hate the fact that it is stealing/accessing my information and displays ads that pertain to websites I have visited or things I have googled/bought. I also do not like the algorithm and how it pushes for BIG YouTube "stars" and does not really show the people I subscribe to. I think it's unfair how they EASILY demonetize certain channels but will take weeks and months to demonetize other people.

I like the educational content on YouTube. I literally taught myself how to sew by watching videos, and have done many home repairs myself by looking up a tutorial. However, I wish their content was more filtered because there is a lot of trashy stuff on it.

I don’t watch a lot of YouTube I don’t want my kids to watch a lot of YouTube considering all the stuff that can be on there I do know that I am not the only person in the world therefore we just try to stay away from it I don’t pay for anything extra if it comes on the phone or on the TV or the computer obviously but I don’t know if you can upgrade to different things or not I wish there was a little bit better filtering on it

I have mixed feelings about YouTube. There is a lot of great content on YouTube, but I don’t like that it is completely uncensored. I have a no-YouTube rule with my kids because I’m nervous about what may pop up unexpectedly. I like the Kids YouTube option, but it still makes me nervous.

YouTube is amazing. I use it all the time for my emergency preparedness stuff. It is always fast acting and therefore never slow. The only thing I don't like is the amount of ads that flood the site.
