We were so looking forward to sharing Mary Poppins with our children tonight. Another service is doing a buy only option so we were happy FandangoNOW had a rental available. We have the same email address for our ROKU TV and the Fandango account, but like others were denied playback. We're watching something else and will have to deal with trying to retrieve our $2.99. Ugh, what a waste of time.

Completely agree with all reviewers here. FandangoNow is a mess. NO customer support, repeated bad streaming experiences (no audio on Dunkirk?). After waiting on the phone for a refund—for 45 minutes—I gave up. Online chat same thing (done concurrently). Even email to them results in this: Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail. The email account that you tried to reach is disabled. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/?p=DisabledUser That says it all.

Worst service on the planet! Rented a movie on my Roku and was charged for it. Then got a “Playback Failed” msg saying call FandangoNow. 45 minutes later spoke to a very nice rep who fixed the problem, refunded my payment and gave me a free movie. Nice rep did all that she could but the service still sucks and the 45 minute hold was beyond irritating and unacceptable. Cancelling FandangoNow. Good riddance!

Terrible time with renting movies. They say you have 30 days to view a movie rented, but I have rented 4 movies that were kicked out of my account (some as early as 15 days early) before I viewed them. When I contact customer no support, they eventually reviewed my complaint (After emailing back and forth with them for 30 days) to tell me I was not eligible for a refund or credit, because it had been over 30 days. Terrible, terrible company. Stick with VUDU or Amazon. They don't cheat their customers and have better customer service.

Fandango now sucks. Movies stop playing and you have to either start from the beginning or try multiple times to get it to play. Amazon and Netflix never have problems but I can always count on connection issues with Fandango! I wish Amazon and Netflix offerred the same movies!! Like an idiot I continue to use Fandango....hoping issues will be resolved....so far they have not!

We recently rented Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe, on Fandango. It's the first time we've rented or purchased anything thru their service. It will also be the last. The movie selected made no mention of it being an abbreviated version yet a number of key scenes had been cut. I've viewed the theatrical release and the director's cut and this version was cut down even from the theatrical release. We've never encountered this issue on Amazon. I won't be renting or purchasing anything more from Fandango until I can be certain of the product I'm getting.

got charged for a movie that didnt play. invoice directed support questions with a link. I emailed support they say email doesnt handle refunds, call this number. called the number, asked several questions then said, oh sorry wrong phone number you need this number but I can transfer you. transferred.....24 min hold then they dropped my call. they are going to make it very hard to get that 3 bucks. most would give up, and they win. Ill continue and cancel their Sh*t service today.

F u fandangonow. Your system does not work!! It never saves our billing info and your service has ruined so many treasured movie nights. After about an hour of searching for the right movie, the purchase becomes denied due to yet another error code. I dont feel like being on your customer service line for another hour for every f n movie again and again. Good luck trying to retain customers. You're only good for the theater showing times at best.

I rented a movie and when i went back to my library it said i had 9 days to watch it. So i started watching it day 1 but couldnt complete. So i returned back day 3 to finish my movie to be surprised that movie is not in my library. So spoke to customer care looks like they take it out of your library within 2 days you start watching. Horrible customer care..will never rent from there again...

I was forced to convert to Fandango now but purchased a movie before the conversion took place. Tried to convert but then it said I had to call. I didn't watch the movie nor "press play" because the conversion needed to happen in order to. Fast forward a few days later, I contacted their customer service department (horrific) they (Charles) disconnected me! So unprofessional and I was nice! And they wouldn't give me credit for the non-watched movie even when it was required for me to CALL before CONVERTING to watch it! No words. Just simply cancelling account.

On my Roku TV I used Fandango to rent a movie during the process of renting the movie it said there was a problem went ahead and built by Roku account for 599 and then never gave me access to the movie as far as I can tell there is nothing I can do about it except make sure I don't ever use Fandango again Netflix amazon.com and all of the other streaming services work fine but fandangonow is worthless

After watching a movie for 20 minutes it cut us off. I called customer service and after a ONE HOUR hold I was told I would have to sign up for something else for my movie to play and that they would NOT give us a refund. The movie should not have played at all if it was going to cut off. Customer service should have refunded our $5.99. I will never rent a movie from them again.

This company is not like Mgo they charge you for services they say are free or discounted the rewards program is a joke and their customer service staff is unprofessional and un trained. The wait time to get your issues resolved are un acceptable and they put you on hold forever. I refuse to continue to buy products from fandango I miss Mgo they where the best. This FandangoNow sucks period and I know I'm not the only one out there with these issues. It's a shame good companies such as Mgo get bought out by these giants that do not care about customer service I'm done.

Probably the worst of all available streaming services. I was double-charged for the movie I tried to purchase, Customer Service was non-existent and the movie continually cuts out while streaming. IF the service actually worked as advertised, it would be a fantastic choice. As it is, I feel that they need to make a lot of improvement before it would be a service that I or my family would consider using again.

Horrible! As a T-Mobile customer I get a free movie rental a week. Worked great when VUDU was the site, but since switching to FandangoNOW the free rental is as good as gone. The first week, the servers were down for everybody. Each week after has been met with equal technical problems. I used my code today to rent a movie, and when clicking Play Now, I am only able to watch the trailer, not the actual film! I've tried on both my iPad and iPhone with no luck. Please T-Mobile, switch back to VUDU!

I tried this for free with T-mobile Tuesdays. The app sucks. I could barely get it to work. Everything I clicked on came up that they couldn't find the page or that it doesn't exist anymore.. this is pretty much the same thing as VUDU except much worse. It skips and buffers constantly. It's not my connection as I can watch VUDU, Netflix, and Hulu with Zero problems. It was so bad I didn't even finish watching the movie I rented.

I've never experienced a site with so many internal server errors when I'm accessing it in a household with high speed internet not being used by anyone else. Takes about 20 seconds to load any page, and will not let me watch the movie I rented because the player does not load. They have a great selection of movies but I'm not sure how one would actually be able to watch one.

This is the worst streaming company I have ever dealt with. I called to complain about a movie rental that spent way to long downloading. The representative I spoke with said that I had watched 30 minutes of the movie and therefore would not refund me. I in fact only watched 30 minutes of downloading and none of the actual movie. This isn't about the money, it's about taking care of your customers. I cannot comprehend a company with horrible customer service.

I'll keep it short. IVR forecasts 3 minutes for a tech, takes an hour. Spend 20 minutes on the phone and the agent never sends the email that she committed to sending. I open a ticket which forecasts a 24 hour response time. SIXTEEN days later, after smearing them on social media, opening another ticket to bash them for having no SLA or customer experience commitment.. they send me a coupon and a canned email response, sixteen days later. Steer clear, it's not worth the headache when things go tits up. A real company doesn't treat customer issues as an after thought.

I had a bad experience with their customer support and the purchase I made, I bought a movie try to play it on my Samsung smart TV, it never shows purchased movie in the Library, when I reset my password finally shows in only computer and not on TV yet. It won't support Chrome/Firefox browsers and played in Internet explorer and buffered/stuck for every 2 mins , No option to choose any Subtitle When I try to reach customer care with Chat/US it redirects to email them. When I try to call them and they keep you waiting for 15 mins and eventually ask you to leave voice mail.

Did the reset password link-keeps going back to the enter new password screen. I have never seen a site with so many issues. Live chat is ridiculous, emails back and forth worthless.

Just tried this out for the first time....and the last time. Halfway through the movie it signed me out. I went to log back in and it states I never rented a movie. I cannot access the movie and I am not going to rent it again. I will NEVER use this again.

Their website confirms my gift cards have enough balance, the checkout says they work, then it fails to process. The only option is to send a message through their website where somebody may respond "within 72 hours". This is theft.

I bought a 4K Aquaman movie but the quality was worse than 480P. Tested my internet and it was showing a download speed of 8 MBPS. I also closed all apps and tabs on chrome and had plenty of RAM, CPU power. Never faced such an issue with netflix.

Holy crap this service is so garbage. You literally can't even get the movie you rented to play. Tried several different movies on different WiFi connections, with 2 different devices. They just won't play. I wish I could give it 0 stars, no one deserves to have to use this service.

I have fast internet. Never had an issue with Hulu, prime, Netflix, etc. but the second I used fandango I had to restart the movie over a DOZEN TIMES because of poor internet connection. That is bull because it’s the only app that doesn’t work. Never renting or buying another movie from this site again

Unless you really know what you are doing on the app, don't bother. Even when the app screws up, the company won't fix or make it right. You're out of luck and out of $$. Shameful. No benefit of the service, whatsoever, especially after they take their fees for tickets purchased.

The video load was extremely choppy, we have no issue with Netflix or Hulu or many of the other online apps we watch but almost immediately the fandango movie was just horrible about loading to the extent we stopped watching and switched to a movie on Netflix. We won’t be using fandango again

I rented one movie with my IPhone I think was easy to watch but was not I asked for help to the customer service they answer after 72 hours between that I have help from different sources I get was the problem but when I get home to watch is was too late to watch because after you put play you have 48 hours to watch. 👎

I ordered Infinity War and didn’t stopped the movie because I took my kids to the park , came back and wanted to watch the rest, guess what , I didn’t see the purchase I made, called them and 40 minutes later I’m still waiting for a representative!! Wow, really ??? This is theft !!

Fandango Now was constantly freezing on ROKU when it did work. I had such high hopes. I have made purchases and now cannot get the channel to operate. I have no problem with any other channel on ROKU. I've renamed it "Fandango Never" . I've had hassle free experiences with competitor products. 1/2 star would be a more appropriate rating.

Terrible. Tried to watch Blade Runner 2049 but was immediately hit with a video that cut-out, stopped to buffer, and switch to odd false colors. I attempted to e-mail customer service at the address provided by Fandango and a return e-mail told me that there was no such address......

Awful. Used fandango through the Roku. It charges your credit card then tells you your unable to watch the movie unless you pay $99. Another time you are allowed to rent but half way through the movie stops and you get a saying “unable to watch at this time.” Then you can’t watch later either. A bunch of thieves.

Fandago Now is a joke of a movie service. Liking to one digital service makes it very limited. Seems Universal is on-board with them so avoid buying their movies if you like streaming movies. Not everyone that streams uses a gaming platform. Their app is limited.

It should not take you one hour to get a movie rental to work (most time spent on hold for help). They tried to offer a credit for a free movie but that won't work either. They try to claim it's not them but it's funny how everything else works fine, just not fandangonow.

Horrible does not stream what is the point? Why try to market a product that does not function correctly. The point is to improve on a model like Netflix by offering something better not being vastly inferior in every conceivable way. Several complaints: 1) movies do not buffer prior to playing, meaning if you have any slight internet problem it will buffer in the middle of the movie. 2) I had a $5 promo code and after renting one movie for $1.99 the entirety of the promo was gone--it did not save the balance for another purchase. 3) Cannot play through AppleTV from the app.

Absolutely terrible streaming. I rented Arrival and after 2 minutes it started needing to buffer to infinity and beyond. My download speeds are 200mb/sec, and Netflix and any other service streams just fine. This is garbage. Glad I only paid $1 for it thanks to T -Mobile Tuesday. Never again.

Technical problems with movies. No customer service via email of phone. I have had movies not work at all, and they never fixed the problem; they took my money, I never got my movie. No replies to emails, and phone help has 40-60 minute hold times. This is the worst of all streaming services.
