Solar by Quality Home Services is a locally owned and operated company that has been in the same family since 1985.
Quality Home Services did not originally begin as a solar installation company, but it was a natural transition. In 1985, Bart Richey and Donna Holstein set out to create a clean and safe water resource for residents in the central valley and the central coast of California. With only three total employees, the founders set off to start B&D Quality Water, which operated as an affiliate of RainSoft Water Treatment. The company quickly rose to prominence and was named a top 10 dealer in the United States.
Since its founding, Quality Home Services has worked to provide alternative and safe every day products for property owners in central California. The company, now headed by the founders’ children, continue to pursue the vision their parents initially set for the valley.
