Moxie did a good job of keeping us informed of the progress. But...there were 2 areas that we felt Moxie failed. First, we expressed interest in the wall. But that didn't get anywhere with no followup. Normally there is a bit more negotiating to make the extra sale work. Not here. Second and most certainly much worse, when the penetration crew installed our panels, they damaged our gutter. THEN, the pounded the crap out of it and claimed it was as good as new. Had I not noticed it, they would have let it go. Then...it took WAY too long for moxie to take care of the damage to our home that they caused. That was simply PATHETIC. I was passed from person to person and calls/emails were not returned...Or, we will take care of it next week. And no follow up ever happened. This was most disappointing. Finally...when the Penetration crew wired our panels, they did it wrong. When the rep came out to hook us up to internet, he had to do a bunch of re-wiring. The good the team did in keeping us up to date in the process was wiped out by the way we were treated on and after installation.

They began as a 5, once sale was made install took longer than promised during sale. Now that install is complete, monitoring app does not nor has it ever worked correctly and I get no answers or resolution to this. The email link to the app was sent two weeks ago along with an EMAIL on how to turn on our array. We have never heard from anyone directly to turn on array, explain things, or trouble shoot. I get the impression there aren't enough employees to keep up and offer the in person services as originally promised for startup and app navigation. 4 panels have not worked from day one, which makes zero sense to me if the array was properly installed and tested as inspection prior to saying it was completed.. which was mud December. Now we wait until January 15 as this is the soonest anyone can get to us. Our array that cost 35000 has not worked properly since day one and for that amount of money I am extremely disappointed in the supporr and responses we've received for our problems.

The contracting, permitting and installation process went really smoothly. However, we've had the system for 3 months now and our electric bills aren't even being cut in half, let alone zeroed out. We were told that it would take roughly 9-12 years for the system to pay for itself, but at is it stands right now it will be more than double that. Our energy usage has not increased.

Sales and initial project management experience were excellent. Installation, ongoing communication and service were poor. Pipes and boxes were installed in the wrong location, according to the blue print, which negatively impacted the appearance of our backyard patio. Installation was anticipated to be three months. Actual time to install and activate solar panels was 9 months.

Since our installation, the system is working great. However they have fired many employees and the people I worked with are unreachable. I don't know who to contact now with questions, nor do I know who to contact to provide referrals for my interested friends. They started with a 4 or 5 star review from me; this turmoil has dropped them to a 2 star.

Nobody has contacted me since I've had my system installed I've tried contacting . me nobody has returned my call . So if this gets to someone that forward this it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and my decline in electrical bills hasn't really happened.

Installation and pre-installation went well. However, one of the panels has needed fixed/replaced since installation and I still do not have closure. I have been emailing off and on for months. I finally had a technician show up and check it out and told me that it was a bad panel and they would come back and replace. They still haven't been back. I have emailed and asked about it and been told they would check on it and still nothing.

The installers were good. It took three months to get installed after the deal was in my front yard. I do have a problem with the overall commercial rebates. I was thinking I was going to get a check from the federal and state governments. I haven't heard anything about the state stuff and they said I won't get it til next year then it's gonna take me ten years to get tax credits from the state and federal government. There's not support in answering any questions.

Nobody seems to know what was going on. There was no communication between party A and party B so everybody had to kind of start from the beginning and figure out where the project was at each step of the way. The installation was pretty quick. They did have to make some changes to how the installation was to happen but that happened relatively quickly and easily and the job got done. I also did not have to pay more money for the added costs. The equipment seems pretty nice, solid, clean and sleek. The overall power seems to be a little on the low side for what I was expecting.

Too many mistakes and things gone wrong. Uninformative. Im finding out about of information I wasn't given when getting solar panels. They tried to right their wrongs but the ramifications from the previous issues had consequences I had to work out later. It cost me out of pocket as well as now after its all done. The panels don't produce enough like I was told now I have to be the one paying the difference if I can't get them to produce more srecs. The list goes on and makes me regret starting this all in the first place. Too many more unprofessional mistakes to list as well.

The price is good and the installation time was supposed to be good though it was three months late. The sales person was really good about selling those points. I am waiting on a call from customer service, it has been over three weeks because the solar panels are shutting down and only producing half of what they should.

The installation went pretty smoothly, but a high percentage of the optimizers failed immediately (or were faulty to start with), and we've had ongoing optimizer/inverter issues. Warranty service has been so slow at times it seems they forget we exist.

My biggest complain was that they subcontraced almost all of the work and they blew up the electric box. It cost me another two thousand dollars to get that fixed and finally Moxie stepped up and came back and did it correctly. I was supposed to receive thirty panels and only recieved twenty-eight.

Installation went very very smoothly and was great. I'm kind of getting the run around from customer service. I had a problem with the electrician. I'd stay home from work and then he wouldn't show up or showing up at hours when I probably didn't need to take time off after my working ours. I was very confused by the financing at first.

There's times when the app on our phones is not working. They put wireing up so the birds can get underneath and didn't close that off. There was no communication during installation. We always had to get ahold of them, they never contacted us.

Moxie does an excellent job of selling their services and communicating what I would guess they hope will happen and unfortunately it didn't work that way for us. We would, however tell you that their sales person - Brian H., and back office team of Carolynn H., Becky R. and Lee Anne D. were all easy to work with and did an excellent job of communicating and staying engaged.. However, when it came to communicating the delivery of materials and having everything the contractor needed their "Market President" who is located in Austin, TX was one of the poorest communicators and had absolutely very limited follow-up to explain anything that was going-on from delivery of materials to what day the contractors were going to start. They just showed-up.. Unfortunately this person was also responsible for scheduling materials and manpower as well as managing the permit process with St. John's County and without a doubt was one of the poorest communicators and marginal field leaders I've ever encountered. This person allowed the electrician to only pull a permit for "electrical repairs" and not "solar panel installation". The net result was a delay in getting FP&L's approval and necessitated our direct communication with county officials to secure the right verbiage for the FP&L Permit. Until Moxie hires a person specifically for the Florida market I would be reluctant to recommend them in any matter whatsoever and certainly anyone using Moxie should ask who actually manages the materials and scheduling in Florida.

I heard from the Moxie Team late last week and am greatly relieved to hear that new staff are being hired and Moxie is actively addressing the critical shortfalls that we experienced with Moxie operations.

From what I read from other reviews, there is little doubt that our situation was very much an anomoly and it will be addressed. Everything about our transaction with Moxie was world class right up until it was time to deliver the panels and other materials to install and activate the system.

Moxie is at that critical juncture of becoming what they envision and it can only be done by continuing to staying in front of the necessary manpower to meet the high standards they are creating in the solar marketplace. Wish you all the best and again thank you for taking time to address our concerns directly.

Rick, thank you for your review and honest feedback. We regret that the process took longer than expected. Unfortunately some steps, like permitting with the utility company, are out of our control. Still, we have heard your feedback and recently added additional in-house crew members and office personnel to keep installs and communication moving as much as possible.
