Almost 2 months since i was told to turn my solar pannels on and they are still not working. Was also told that the people at moxie would know before i did turns out that was a lie. Now i cant seem to be able to get ahold of anyone. Tried calling left a message and i emailed them. Got an email back but they beat around the bush and just told me that they put in a work order. Been a week since that work order and havent heard anything or seen anyone was told one June first someone would come set up a portal so i can track my usage withing 2 weeks and its July 17th and noone has came by. The machine they used broke my sidewalk was waiting to talk to someone in person to tell them but it doesnt look like that is happening. Now trying to decide if i need to hire a lawyer or not since i paid 30k for solar that still isnt working.

Thank you for your review and honest feedback. We regret that this has been your experience so far and ensure you that we want to work with you to make it right. I looked into your account and a service request has been placed. It appears there may have been an issue with the utility company properly completing your interconnection. There have been a couple of similar issues reported with your utility company. We recently updated and expanded our service department and staff to be more streamlined and attentive and appreciate your patience as we work to solve this problem.

1. When I first contracted with Moxie, I told them my loan was coming in ten days and wanted to wait to sign the contract until then. Blair said, “Let’s play a trust game. If you send me the check, we won’t cash it until the loan comes.” Well I sent the check and they immediately cashed it. Guess I lost that trust game. 2. They gave me an estimated time to installation of 6 weeks. It took them 8 months. So don’t expect them to get it installed anytime soon. Because of this delay, we had to wait another year for the Iowa tax credit. 3. Less than a month after installation, the inverter had to be replaced. 4. One of the fuses keeps blowing. Three times in three weeks. They don’t seem to have any solution other than to keep replacing the fuse. Which means the array is working like 1/2 the time. 5. I have had several people ask me this spring about my array and if I would recommend Moxie. I told them to look into other companies.

Thank you for your review and honest feedback. We regret any inconvenience we caused you in getting your solar array installed. The large majority of the delay had to do with permitting with the utility company which, unfortunately, is out of our control. It's frustrating to us too and typically does not take as long as it did for you. Please continue to communicate with us about any issues you're having with fuses blowing or anything else. I know we've had electricians work on your system trying to get to the root cause. We are going to keep working until it's working for you 100% of the time!

Moxie Solar was the only company that could provide us with a quote right away. The ladies in the billing department they were much more helpful than the crews and the area manager. They got right on things when I had questions or problems and got the answers for me right away. The installation process was bad. Ad then some of the modules were bad right after they were installed.

The sales persons employed high pressure tactics and everything he promised turned out to be not true. Several times the local office threatened a 10% late fee while we waited for our local bank to process the loan. I almost contacted a lawyer to stop the harassment and protect my rights as a consumer.

They weren't supportive. I had to chase them down everytime I needed soemthing done. The owner of the company was contacting me and then when I had problems, they instantly started ignoring me. The equipment failed due to the install, which was a two day project that took over a month.

The entire process from sales to planning to installation to financing was a nightmare. Each step of the process was lacking professionalism and expertise. Probably why it took from January until August to get the system working.

The process was unclear, there was no education to maintain the system or troubleshoot, felt like I was a burden when the app wasn't working, don't understand the rebate program still, several little things have happened that feel like they either grew too fast and can't be there for their customers or they don't care.

They seem very unorganized and I'm not sure they know what they're doing. I've had to take vacation for them to come over and sometimes they don't show up or don't get anything done. They were supposed to be over here again today and they didn't get anything fixed. The guy left because he didn't want to be late for his next appointment.

I live in NC and Moxie installed my system. It took awhile to get it installed but that is expected with the supply issues. The problem is when the system needed to be serviced due to problems with the panels. I now know that generac has some faulty connectors but when dealing with the company they don't call or email back and keep you up to date with issues. I have been waiting for 6 months to get my system fixed. Now I got an email from another solar company that they will come fix my system. They explained that Moxie Solar will no longer be providing service here. Again no information from Moxie. They will leave you high and dry. Now I have to worry about warranty work. It took about 6 months to get my system installed. I did have some energy savings in the beginning but the system has been operational for about 1 1/2 years and have had issues for about 1 year or a little more. So no savings. Making a payment for a system and still getting a full electric bill. I am putting out twice the amount of money. I wish I went with a whole home generator.

I began the process with Moxie Solar around July 11, 2022, to install solar panels on my house. After an email stating I would receive 2-3 days advance notice of installation, I was at the residence when the installer showed up without notice (Not my complaint). Since this is not my primary residence, I was not around for the two-day installation but was contacted by Tim stating the installation was complete. On October 8, 2022, my family and I went to the residence to discover the installation was not completed - wires were dangling from the side of the home (I will attach a photo). Since October 8th, I have tried to contact Moxie Solar to have the installation completed. I have a loan to pay for the solar panels, which I expect to start paying soon. I have contacted the loan company and advised them of the issue, and they said they would contact me soon. On Thursday, October 20, 2022, I received an e-mail from Kaley F who advised me she was taking over the project at my house. She said, “And yes! those wires are normal, our PV crew who installed the panels drop the wires down for our electricians to tie into. The electricians work off their own schedule, and they should be reaching out to you soon, if not already, to let you know the next steps. Please feel free to reach out at any time with any questions!” I responded stating that I was curious who the electricians are because Moxie has not upheld their end of the contract and am concerned because I was told during the initial process that I would not have to start paying until the system is properly installed and working. I went on to tell Kaley that I felt it would be the decent thing for Moxie to contact the loan company and have them pause any payments until Moxie fulfills their end of the agreement. I have e-mails to support my statements. I simply would like the panels to finish being installed and the loan to not kick in until Moxie Solar has upheld their end of the contract.

I found nothing but good reviews and the length of time Moxie has been in business made me believe they knew what they were doing. Salesman was on point knew what he was talking about. But he must have missed the meetings that were very important. They said that I would gravel under my panels but I ended up paying out of pocket and fight to get reimbursement. Then it started to go down hill from there. The system wasn't producing and wasn't notifying the online service portion. The sales guy either was let go or quit. He sent me a text telling me he no longer an employee. For a little I was in the dark. I started looking online and found so many more people going through the same thing with Moxie Solar I was and all about the same time. It seems like Moxie is having a hard time catching up to with the covid stuff but it doesn't give the employees the right to be mean and disrespectful to their customers. Since the original sales guy left I been dealing with an employee that calls me a liar even with the former employees communication to back me up in emails and text messages. The former employee told me several times that all customers who buy solar will receive a tax credit of little over $8,000. When I bring this issue up I'm told I am a liar then I show them the message from the former employer and then the sales guy ignores it. Most likely because he was told too. Today I received the promo rebate after almost a year of being with them. Because they haven't answered my phone calls and addresses the issue of the wiring was wrong I had to call to cancel the loan. I sent an email to the sales guy then he called me a liar again and said I didn't cancel the loan. Then I started to get lip from Corning Credit Union and Sunlight Financial because I started the process of canceling the loan. Today Corning sent me a polite email informing me they are going to take the loss for the loan. This is because I had to file a complaint with the BBB against them and the Civil rights because one of the Corning Credit Union employees that it was cute to demand me to tell him what disability I had. Which is wrong on all levels and against the laws. So a whole lot of misinformation from the first sales person to the new one who's been a bully I give this company one star. There was the issue where my control box came up missing while deployed. Then there was issues trying to hire someone to reinstall the box because Moxie refused to have someone come install my new box. The biggest issue with getting it installed was that there's no neutral wire. So now I need to hire a company to pull the black negative wire out and put in a neutral wire. It was going so smoothly at the beginning in September 2021 upto November. I truly believe there are some good workers still there. However they have been thrown in front of the bus 🚌 with all the mess to clean up. I have a nonworking system in my yard and Corning will not pick up the solar system because they can't do nothing with it. That's why they are taking a loss and most likely will never do business with Moxie Solar anymore.

If there’s anything you can take from my long it is…Run as far as you can from Moxie… I originally contacted Moxie late September 2021 to get my solar panels installed and it has been a drama worthy of an Oscar movie since them. Let me begin. The only good thing about Moxie was their price for their Sunpower solar panels was low. Regardless of how bad Moxie is, Sunpower was one of the best solar panel brands that I found when I did my research. When our family signed the deal with Moxie, we were assigned project manager 1 who introduced herself to us and was fired the same afternoon. Our salesperson did not know about it and told us a few days later when I was asking him why she didn’t respond to any of our emails. I was then told by our salesperson that Moxie was downsizing in several states and had let go several people in their reorganization. Not a good first start and I’m already starting to worry. Shortly after I was assigned to project manager 2. She was very unhelpful with the permitting process. We were promised a month for permits to get approved for our solar panels. But when it took over a month, we contacted her who said she’s had permits take an hour to 9 months. Basically she didn’t help expedite the process and was just stonewalling me. She also soon disappeared and I was told that she left the company. I was then passed along to project manager 3 who didn’t respond to any of my emails. Finally I was then passed along to their client services team who botched things up even more. Turned out the reason why my permitting was taking so long is because they didn’t know that my county requires paper and online permit submission. Moxie had neglected to file a paper permit…even though they claimed to have done solar panels in my county before. After the permitting was done which took a month longer than expected and I lost another month of solar I could have had, I had to wait a few weeks for the panels to arrive. Those were the only things that arrived on time with Moxie. They installed them and the installers were great to deal with and courteous. We had to get it inspected by my county. Moxie botched it up some more. Moxie would set inspection dates without consulting me and I had to change work plans to be able to let both the county inspector and Moxie electrician in. During the first inspection, Moxie HQ miscommunicated to their electrician so he didn’t show up when the county inspector was here. We had to reschedule and I had to change work plans again. Also Moxie was unclear on the fact that there was an electrical inspector and building inspector so I was unsure which inspector was actually arriving. During the rescheduled inspection, the electrician failed inspection because he used an indoor breaker box on the outside which the inspector caught. He had to go out for an hour to get another one and install and the inspector had to come back another day to pass our system. After our system passed, Moxie sat for a while and I had to manually call Duke to get them to pass my unit and get it commissioned. Once our system passed we were finally operational, probably about a month and half later than promised which is better than what other reviews I’ve read were. Once operational, the units did fine for a few months. We were generating more power than we were using. Then all the sudden in May, their service advisor started to email me suddenly saying that something called the CTs on my unit had to be swapped around because they were installed backwards. She couldn’t explain to me well what CTs were and what work exactly had to be done. Regardless I still had some trust in them at the time and I let their service tech into my house again to fix. Once it was fixed, I get another email not too much longer saying that the CT fix did not fix the issue which they still could not explain to me. So they scheduled another appointment. In this second appointment, the technician came to our house unannounced (two weeks early) to our ire because I was not home and had to let them in via my phone and let them work unsupervised. The 2nd fix did not work and Moxie again contacted me stating that they had to come back another time. During this 3rd fix, the technician was a different guy and we were told that the previous technician no longer worked for Moxie. This last fix messed up my solar panels and I started to generate less power than their app was showing and started to owe Duke money even though summer time has the most sunlight. I would say that I’ve lost about $300-400 in credits and paying for electricity that I didn’t use due to their mistakes. I started to contact Moxie to get it fixed but they purposely ignored my voicemails, phone calls and multiple emails. I started to run out of options so I contacted our sales person who sold us our solar panels for help only to find out that he left the company recently. So that’s at least 4 people who have left Moxie in less than a year since I got the units. Finally I reached out to Sunpower for help and they switched me to another dealer and were able to remotely fix my units. During the remote fix, it was discovered that Moxie did not set up my individual panel monitoring so I am dealing with that now and may have to pay another company to come to my roof to get the serial numbers of my panels to get that set up. You’ve been warned.

I give Moxie Solar a “0” ! I gave them a deposit of $13282 on 4/14/21 and was told I would be producing electric in 90 days! Haha! Today is 5/5/22 and nothing! They had me do all the measurements and send them picture instead of sending a representative out. I started sending them emails in October of ‘21 asking them to contact me. Finally in early January of ‘22 they admitted they could not do the job due to “COVID” . They said they would give my a full refund due to their inability to fulfill their end of the contract. Again, that was early January of ‘22 and it’s May 5, 22. 5 months and no refund. Moxie had had my money for over a year! Oh yeah! I’m a veteran and that was one of their sell pitches! The salesman said the owner is a veteran and has special deals for fellow veterans! So, veterans beware! I wouldn’t use this company!

We started the process of getting solar with Moxie Solar back in October 2020. The salesperson was very helpful. The project coordinator and manager were initially helpful. As the months have started to wear on, we've heard less and less from the company. Finally had one scheduled install date a few months ago, which was canceled on their end. We finally had solar installed on Sept 23rd, 2021. System finally passed all inspections on 11/03/2021. It took over a year to get the solar installed and running. During install, the installers moved the original solar panel layouts from the agreed design to one less efficient. We are still trying to get Moxie to fully set up the Enphase app that monitors production. It is currently 04/2022 and still trying to get everything up and fully running right. Customer support is slow to respond, if they respond at all. Extremely dissatisfied with this company and wishing we had used someone else.

I can't believe that Moxie Solar is listed as the second best solar company but basically tied with Sun Badger with a rating of 8.0. I have lost all trust with Moxie Solar. They have failed to fulfill expectations of the installation of the solar system in the contract in fall of 2021. They hired a sub-contractor, Van Brocklin Electric of Janesville Wisconsin, to work on projects in the Janesville area and Moxie has not paid Van Brocklin for the work that they have completed for them. Ben with Van Brocklin has told me that they will not work on future projects with Moxie. I have contacted the law firm of Stupar, Bartell & Nelson, S.C. whose office address is 630 West Wisconsin Ave. Suite 1800 Milwaukee, WI 53203-1918. They sent a demand letter dated January 24,2022 stating that the contract has several violations of Wisconsin Statutes and demanding that a full refund of what I have paid plus $500 for my attorney fees be sent to me. The total amount payment to remit to me is $16,903 and was to be received within 15 days of receiving the letter. They replied by e-mail to my lawyer on Feb 5 asking for 10 additional business days to respond. On February 25, my lawyer, Tom Bartell sent, an e-mail to Moxie Solar’s escalations department requesting that they contact him immediately to address the demand letter. Moxie Solar, the seller and installer of solar panels, has failed to provide services agreed upon in and adequate and timely manner. The agreement for the solar panel installation was signed on 8/9/2021. The contract states that the project would be completed in a timely manner, however the contract gave no date as to when the work would begin or end which is in violation of Wisconsin Statutes. There has been no effort to update me as to when work will begin since I was last told that work would be done in early November of 2021 after the project manager from Moxie and Ben with Van Brocklin talked with me while they were at my house checking things in preparation to begin installation.

My husband and I contracted wtih Moxie Solar for the installation of a SunPower solar array and battery in June 2021. Moxie started installing our solar panels in August 2021, which was much sooner than expected. The solar array installation went smoothly and quickly, but our nightmare experience started with the electrical inspections (failed 4 times, sometimes for the same reason) and mostly centered around the battery installation. The battery, which was touted by SunPower as being fully integrated with their solar panels, was installed separately sometime in late fall 2021 and is still not functional. It doesn't seem to be well integrated with the solar panels, and Moxie Solar has not dedicated the resources necessary to figure out what the problem is and correct it. Since early December 2021, Moxie has only made about 3 or 4 attempts to get it working, the last one more than 2 weeks ago. Our interactions and communications with the Service Department, even those in management, have been very poor, and our emails, texts, and voicemail messages have frequently gone unanswered. Additionally, our complaints to Moxie Solar outside of the Service Department have been ignored. I cannot recommend this company.

Our experience with Moxie Solar has been horrific. If the system would allow a negative score I would give worst available. We signed up for their program in April of 2021 and still have no resolution for issues. What we do have is electric bills over $500 each month, $260 in solar bill each month, over 52 solar panels in out yard and the best...NOBODY that we initially worked with is still employed with MOXIE. We have called, emailed, texted, snail mail requesting help. We are being ignored. When we call the company to speak with a manager, we are grilled as to why. Then somehow the phone call gets disconnected. I have never been treated so poorly or lied to this bad by anybody or any company. We are getting an attorney, notified BBB and telling everybody to avoid this company at all costs

Everything was great with Moxie until after completion. Then I started to uncover the lies that were sold to us to get us to sign up. Very unhappy with the product performance and financial portion of Moxie and though I've tried to resolve via emails and phone calls it seems Moxie doesn't care about customer concerns and unhappiness after the fact. Was even told by the salesman multiple times someone was researching my production since it was not covering my usage as expected, yet never heard a word from Moxie. Even called Moxie to ask status and they said no such ticket had been opened even though salesman promised it was multiple times via text message. Now salesman is non responsive... Two main issues I faced were: 1. Promised full solar power for the entire year yet never banked anything to cover slower months. Basically Moxie admitted they likely under estimated our power usage... 2. Promised 5k in rebates from the state of Iowa. Never once was it mentioned this was if the funds were available and if Iowa continued to fund this rebate. Not once was this mentioned to be only a possible rebate. It was SOLD to me as a guaranteed rebate. Moxie is basically saying they aren't responsible for the lies and to contact the state and complain about ending the funding. I would have NEVER agreed to solar without this 5k rebate as we were already at a much higher cost than I wanted to pay... I guess it's my fault for trusting the salesman to be a straight shooter with us when trying to navigate the confusing proposal and pricing. But it's disappointing that Moxie stands behind and utilizes these sales tactics to ensure they get the sale.

I will start from the beginning of my journey with Moxie Solar. I decided solely on Moxie after receiving numerous quotes and based on what I thought was a good reputation. I was wrong, and there has been nothing but headaches throughout the entire process with this company. Take my advice and steer clear if you are reading this review! I will start off with my project manager Sharie G, who was not a project manager. I was the project manager who coordinated with the utility company and the other terrible company Green Solar. At MOXIE, there is no such thing as a project manager. Believe it or not, for such a big company, good luck trying to get anybody but the service department to answer the phone. It's a ghost town, and no one will respond to emails either. Some decent people work there; Hannah O has been exceptional and deserves a promotion for policing the horrible management at this company. This company has no form of leadership or managers whatsoever! My journey began when I received a phone call from Green Solar telling me they had my materials and planned on coming out the next day. This phone call was 3 months after I signed the contract by the way. I honestly was baffled and wanted to know why a company named "Green Solar" was coming out to install my solar panels when I hired MOXIE SOLAR. I called Sharie, my project manager, who was clueless and said, “I am not sure why they are coming out because I thought MOXIE was in your area.” Are you kidding me? What a joke!! The so-called project manager had no idea. Just so everyone reading this is aware, GREEN SOLAR is a low bidder company that MOXIE will outsource to save a few dollars to do their dirty work but still post MOXIE SOLAR signs all over your property. What a scam this company is! Green Solar shows up four hours late on their first day with a crew barely speaking English. There was no oversight whatsoever, and when I asked why they were late, they nonchalantly told me we had to stop and pick up materials. After they arrived they then proceeded to ask me questions about where the panels were going and what the capacity was on my roof. This would have all been communicated if a site crew were to come out which I was told was not necessary. The crew was late every day for a week straight and had numerous problems on the job site. The materials were wrong, trash was left blowing all over my property, they utilized my garage and driveway as their dumping grounds to offload equipment, the installation was a disaster, and they unplugged one of my 22 cu ft deep freezers on their last day. They failed to communicate that to me, so I lost over 5,000.00 dollars in meat. I had to utilize my tractor to offload hundreds of pounds of meat with my wife and bury it on my property. I was furious. My family’s meat was to sustain us throughout the year. The company spent an entire week working at my house on this project. Something was being shipped to my place every day but never seemed to be the right parts from MOXIE. On the last day, they told me their work was done, and the system was complete. The only problem was I was missing an entire inverter, and the plan was inoperable. I would call that an incomplete system. The next day it rained, and the trench they hand-dug flooded and was a complete disaster. The rainwater was soaking all around the foundation to my garage, and the 40ft trench was sinking. I was worried my children would get injured. I have a 300 yd gravel driveway that had just been redone with fresh gravel, and they decided to fill the trench in with gravel and put the clay and dirt on the top. Again there was zero management on this Jobsite. I was praying that they were insured, saying the least. I had to get a new shipment of gravel delivered and then use my tractor to fix the mess. All in all, with labor included, I created an estimate of $6,446.32. I contacted MOXIE to inform them of the issues, and I was redirected to the escalations team. This team was created from what I was told through a google meeting from Jennifer S and Leah F because of issues such as mine. I was told that my problem would be handled appropriately and that I would receive insurance claims for the mishaps. These issues are systemic when companies start outgrowing their shoes. They begin to lose trust and loyalty in customers and consumers. They then go out of business. Three months later, I still have not received my insurance claim for the mishaps. I have called and emailed Leah F, but she will not return my calls or emails. Leah's title with MOXIE is the VP, Process-Policy-People. I was left with no choice to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and my next option will be through a lawsuit. I have given numerous opportunities for MOXIE to resolve this issue before these reviews and complaints. It took over two months for MOXIE to fix my system to render it operable. Within those two months, I was already making payments on an inoperable system. I had my utility company here three times to swap the meter out. They were also very frustrated in the process and wanted to know why I hired a company like MOXIE. This company is an embarrassment, and I feel like a complete fool for hiring them. This process was exhausting, and now I have to deal with them every time I have an issue. I am better off outsourcing my electricians and paying out of pocket when something goes wrong.

A 1 star isn't low enough for this company. Very Shady company. I spent 30k (15.48) and was told I would never have a bill other than the connection fee of 15.00 the last 5 months I have had a bill. I was also told I would get a Refund on my State and Federal Taxes only to find out its not the way they stated. The install they kept missing my perlins in my brand new roof. I wish I would have looked a little harder into this company online before I Purchased as I would have gone with anyone else. No review page on their FB page and if you attempt to write on it they delete it and block you. I would advise anyone with a complaint to go to the BBB and file a complaint it takes 5 minutes so others know how shady they are.

So many things went wrong during the installation of my solar system. The biggest being the totally damaged roof from careless installers. Moxie has acknowledged these problems and said several times that something should be done. I’ve written to Rich T, Steve H and apparently the issue has been escalated to the president of Moxie, Travis E, but still no reply from Moxie. For over a year now, I have been trying to come up with some resolution with Moxie but lately they will not even reply to messages. So, after a year of trying to get Moxie to resolve issues and no response, the only recourse I have is drag it through the courts. Be forewarned that it is chilling to know that Moxie will turn their back on you when things don’t go right. I guess that’s the kind of Moxie you get when working with them.

I spent 30k with Moxie Solar for a solar array that would eliminate my electrical bill other than the connect fee of 15 per month to our electrical provider. They designed the system and told me this system was to be 110 percent of my electrical usage and that I would not have an electrical bill in fact during the summer my electric company would be paying me a few dollars because I will over produce. They sent a crew up to start the installation during the installation I noticed several spots the daylight was protruding through my brand new metal roof and into my attic one of them was 6 inches long. After asking about this the salesman said they would replace it but after talking with the CEO they decided to add extra lumber and caulk over it (their caulk gun is still on my roof 5 months and counting) and told me that it would be guaranteed not to leak so far it hasn’t to my knowledge. Now the racking system and the electrical has all been ran to the ends so that the electrician can finish the install. After talking with the electrician for a little bit I realized they are not hiring the best. The electrician told me he has had 16 electrical jobs in 20 years 5 of them are with Moxie. The Electrician finishes up all of the wiring and we chatted some more about me adding a deck addition and pavilion to my property. Next comes the inspection from the county they look over everything and sign off saying everything was complete. That night I get a call from the county asking about the pavilion and the new deck I’m building and where my permit was. The deck could be seen from the inspection sight but the pavilion was on the other side of my property through the timber. I found out the electrician was the one who was telling the inspector. What the electrician and the county didn’t realize at the time was that I am AG Exempt from permits. Again I called the salesman very apologetic won’t happen again I’ll let the owner know etc. etc.. a couple days later I am able to turn on my system. The guy that sets up the graphics so that you are able to monitor the system online shows up and gets 2/3 of my panels put into the graphic system but couldn’t dop the other half because he didn’t have the serial numbers and the install crew had not written them down legible. He said I will have them come back up and get the serial numbers and remove the caulk gun from your roof. I few days go by and I see all of solar panels are now on the monitoring page. I went out and looked at the panels and the caulk gun was still there. Next bill I get from the electrical company was a split between what I used prior to having solar and having it so I had a bill (to be expected). The next month’s bill June I had a credit of 4.00 and I had some banked KWH but not as many as I was told I would get for that month and I noticed my electrical company was taking 23 percent of my KWH produced I messaged the salesman and was told he’s not sure what’s going on but will find out. He says that’s normal and that Moxie figured that into the system and because my system is so large that it doesn’t matter. If I ever start using more electricity than what the system was designed for I could get a one time rate adjustment so that the 77 percent of the KWH I’m making and keeping can be adjusted towards 100 percent that I’m Keeping but not to worry about that till I build my cabin in the near future and see what you are using because my system should be plenty big. The salesman said let’s look at next month’s bill and see where everything is at. July bill shows up and again I had a few dollars of credit and maybe 20 KWH added to my banked hours. I called the salesman again and questioned the banked hours as at this point I should have at least 900 KWH banked up to get me through the winter months but I only had around 100. He said he would look into it and get my system audited to see what numbers were wrong etc. at this point I’m messaging 3 different people over my system not performing to what I was told it would one of them stated she didn’t know how the salesman got his numbers but she would get it audited to figure it out and set it right. After a couple of weeks and countless emails I get a message from their auditing department and was told I would have to wait a year till she could audit my system. I explained that I was told by now 4 people that they can do an audit on my system prior to the year. She didn’t want to look at it. I get Augusts bill now and I owe my electric provider 80.00 and all my banked hours are gone. Now and till next summer I will have a bill each month. I go back to emailing the project manager asking questions about the numbers and how the numbers were calculated.. several emails with no response now it’s been 4 weeks. No review page on their FB page and if you attempt to write on it they delete it and block you. I would advise anyone with a complaint to go to the BBB and file a complaint it takes 5 minutes so others know how shady they are. Moxie doesn't strive at anything but lies... You are not taking steps to better my moxie experience. You are actually kicking the can down the road with your lack of response. I have found a new place to file a complaint and id advise all that you have lied to and mislead to reach out to there states Attorney general consumer fraud division and start a complaint or IOWAS Attorney general as this is the home state for moxie. I have read hundreds of your reviews and cannot believe you are still in business. all the same system doesn't work like we were told botched the install and lied about the rebates/credits.

They are really great at selling their product. Unfortunately, once the product is sold- they don't seem to follow through with their promises. We had issues with the installation, they showed up the second day and needed to be let inside our garage. I was told we would be given a "heads up" if they would need let it. Instead I received a phone call at work to figure out how to get our garage unlocked so they could finish. They did not reseed our yard for over 2 months where they trenched the power through until I called several times complaining. Not a big deal- except this is a HUGE part of their sales pitch. "You won't even know we were there when we are done." Once installation was completed and they received the permission to operate, they showed up and turned out panels on. We were not given any explanation of our equipment or how to use the production app. A year in to having our solar panels and we continue to be sadly disappointed in Moxie and their "superior customer service and 5 star guarantee" Their guarantee is we will sell you our product but once it is sold you are on your own. This is the exact reason we no longer refer people to Moxie Solar and actually recommend a local company that follows through.

After initiating research on residential Solar Panels we were contacted by Moxie Solar. A representative Jack K. sent me an email setting up a Zoom call with another representative Loren F. After Zooming for an hour, and a half we were encouraged. Loren asked that we sign right away. I asked that he email to me the proposal from the Zoom because we could not enlarge most of the documents in order to verify what was in the proposal. Loren promised to email immediately. Over a week I contacted Loren with a phone call, and three emails explaining we had never received the proposal. The first call he said they were having a problem. He never responded to any of the emails. After the second week I emailed Jack K. to ask what the problem was. He responded to my email saying he would have an answer for me by noon the next day. He would contact her, Loren was a man on the Zoom call. It has been several days now and we have heard nothing from Moxie at all. This surely seems like a con, but I have no idea what the intentions of Moxie are to waste an Hour and a half Zoom call with no follow up. I will say the package sounded exceptionally good compared to two other proposals we had, but evidently this is some kind of bait, and switch. That's all I can conjure about the whole experience.

Moxie solar initially started working with us in September of 2021. In October of 2021 they installed our solar panels. It is now July of 2022 and our solar panels have still not been connected. Their customer service is garbage and they do not respond to multiple emails, phone calls, and other attempts to reach them. I am $60,000 in debt with absolutely nothing to show for it. Please avoid working with this company but you don't end up in the same situation as me.

Con Artis!! n 66 years I have never been ripped off as bad as MOXIE did. They designed the system and it would not work where they put it. It was taken down and moved to where they said it would work. I bought this in April 2021 and it still does not work. They still do not work. I have tried to contact the owner all the way down and no answer no returned calls. Read your contract full of loop holes. They took my hard earned money and walked away. Its sad that a company does a web site with all the perfect promises and BS you want to hear is a rip off.

Frustrating to say the least. Unethical! My personal experience with them was okay. I received the product I purchased and it works well, but the communication from Moxie was terrible. I later realized they are going bankrupt, aren’t paying their employees money that they are owed, and they are months late in payments to their subcontractors for work that has already been completed.

Will tell you they will provide certain services to get you to sign a contract and then they back out on doing what they said they would do and refuse to give your deposit back, I bought my system in February and they didn't get it finished until Sept. after having to come back at least 3 times on each phase to correct their mistakes. They would be the last company that I would recommend!!!
