Installers and electrician were friendly and competent. I informed the system design engineer and the project manager that I was concerned about squirrels getting under the panels and chewing on the wiring since my neighbor had to have his solar company come out 3 times before they installed the critter guard sufficiently to keep the squirrels from getting under the panels. I even sent photos of my neighbors critter guard to EcoMark with no effect. The installers also left a front edge trim piece off of the panels and instead used a piece of duct tape. When I spend $20K for a Solar system, I expect a more professional looking for and finish.
The other complaint I have with EcoMark is their System Design. I was told I could only put on so many panels due to the capacity of my main breaker panel. After a little of my own research and talking with the electrician, I could have added the additional panels I originally wanted

EcoMark Solar is one of the only Solar companies operating in Colorado that includes critterguard on every Solar System we install. I have been assured that our team has installed your critter guard and that you have some concerns that we will be out to address as soon as we can. Our master electricians will only install panels that will not cause safety issues. We did the max amount your main panel would allow and still pass inspection. We did offer the option to update your main panel in order to reach your desired system size, however you signed off on the system without the upgrade. We always want to provide our customers with the best service and equipment we can offer, however we cannot compromise safety in order to accomodate a larger system. We've had EcoMarkfor 18 months: no electric bill. 15 days ago our inverter went on the fritz. it's mid June: 2nd best month of the year. Reported on day 8. When I asked who would pay the electric bill that will be coming? The answer was "if your washing machine broke down you'd have to go to the laundromat". Actually I wouldn't because I'd buy a new one immediately.
