SunPower was one of the top manufacturers of the solar panels and they had a good reputation in the industry. They've been in solar for a while, so it just seemed like a good company to start with. I was in communication with the installers pretty regularly. We had one minor hiccup with the inspection that was resolved the day of.

SunPower's honest yet competitive sales pitch really did it for us. Their price for panels and installation was much lower than the other quote we got. Competitors focus on low-payment, long term financing for overpriced hardware. SunPower's model is exactly the right one, although it can make it difficult or confusing to find financing.

My rating would be 5 stars except that one of my 16 panels consistently produces about 10% - 15% less electricity than eachof the other 15 panels. When I called to inquire why this was the case, I was told the panel in question is operating within normal parameters. I question this explanation If the panel was operating normally it seems like it should give similar readings to the other 15 panel. But it doesn't. It is always below the other panels, as just described.

Greg Field was great to work with and the installation team was awesome. Just a note regarding the installation time. It took longer due to Covid so I don't want the time it took for installation to reflect negatively on the installers. They did a great job and made sure the conduit was installed to my request.

There were different crews that came out here, but everything seemed to be done properly. It was done quickly and they stayed until everything was done. Anytime that I've reached out to them there was fairly reasonable response times getting back to me, so that was good.

I'm getting everything I thought I'd get out of it. I mean I wouldn't go with any other company. I feel that I or other friends and family that have gotten something solar energy and they're still very dependent on the company and they're basically misled per say. I felt like it was told what I was getting so I kind of feel like the process was what I signed up for, not so much like a hidden agenda.

I think installation was slow but once it was up and running it has been headache free. I save a lot in my electric bill but at the same time I had spent a lot of money already. They do a good job. I have no complaints. Install went smoothly, not any problems, everything went as they said when advertised. Anything that was an issue was taken care of right away, I'm happy with it. I would definitely recommend them to anybody else. Everything's working fine but I know there's probably some way that the system could be made cheaper.

We sent out a request for bids and SunPower responded right away. I think they had a sales agent out to our house the next day. We ran into a couple of issues during the turn up and they were very responsive and took care of all of my concerns. It works and we've not had any trouble since it was turned up.

I can tell everything is working fine. It was very easy, they took care of everything, so I didn't really have much to deal with in terms of permitting and all of that stuff, it just was very easy. I had an issue with transponder that was not sending information and it took a while for that to get fixed but everything else has been great.

It was straightforward, professional. The only glitch was they lost count of the number of panels, but otherwise it was fine. Overall it was okay. I'm only getting about sixty percent of the installed capacity out of the panels.

They said that they would be there at a certain time and I think they had it installed within the amount of time they though,t however the power didn't get turned on for about three weeks after it was installed. It ended on a positive note, but I had some some issues in the beginning. They helped me settle dispute, I did have to push back a bit. After escalating and speaking to the proper people I was actually able to get a resolution and for that I was very very happy. They were very flexible and they fit into their schedule they were very accommodating.

I only had one complaint over the last 7 years and then eventually they got resolved. One of my inverters went down and took about 45 days to replace it, but overall of the few times I've called they've been helpful. Other than the one inverter going down 2 or 3 years ago, it's worked very well.

You guys manufacture your own panels, few of the companies I checked don't manufacture their own panels so it's like a dependency. It's not pretty clear how much power the SunPower is generating so some extra information would be useful. Once I had a problem with my app on the phone. I didn't get the best support. It took a while to resolve the issue.

I live in a development. SunPower organized with the HOA directly to get the permits needed and supplied the required fees leaving me out of it. No problems so far. It did take longer than usual to get energized because the utility dragged their feet to inspect but was not their fault.

The Sunpower hardware works well but customer service needs a significant upgrade. I have been pleased with how my system is working keeping my household off the grid. This is important from both environmental and fiscal perspectives. Unfortunately after eighteen months the battery began malfunctioning. I wasted three weeks contacting Sunpower's tech support. My file was closed without service or notice. There was no offer of troubleshooting my system. I didn't get results until I contacted the contractor who installed the system. Then almost immediately I received service. Now with the system finally diagnosed I am waiting two weeks for a part that is currently not available. The AI driven response isn't clear in offering an explanation. Again the contractor is providing updates for me. Thank you All Bay.

We started with sixteen panels and we just upgraded an additional ten because we got a pool. I believe the inverters went out and they had to come out and replace them, but otherwise not a problem. The service has been good. It was a good process, they came on the day they had planned on at the time and they completed it during the day and the project manager kept us informed along the way was what we needed to do.

I thought the tech and installation crew was very professional. The app is great and easy to read (even though it's been going through a two week update). The area for improvement is the length of time it took for the system to be activated.

Definitely I would recommend them. I still haven't received my little monitor that they told me was supposed to be there last week of June. Trust with the company could be better. Installation was all done in one day. When they came they did put everything up there so that was very good.

I haven't had any problems with customer support. Our electricity usage has decreased so we have been satisfied. I've already recommended sunpower to a number of friends. I would say that I am satisfied. They got the job done very quickly and there were no problems when they were finished.
