Panels seem to work good, the app for the phone doesn't work to good. One day it works and other day nothing.
Ken W, made our solar buying experience 'painless' we did most our communication via email as my wife and I our very busy. We had to meet twice. We have had our solar for over a year now and have saved ( according to our online dashboard) over $5,000 dollars. Our solar is running / operating 100% and would highly recommend Renova Solar to anyone interested in solar.
Great system,guality panels and great option for least or own
The panels are great, as was the installer, Blue Selenium on Cape Cod. The customer service from Sunpower, however, stinks. Two microinverters went down in August. Three months later, and numerous requests later, I still do not have a date when they will be fixed. Customer service is 0 stars, performance of the panels is great when they work.

We purchased our home in Surprise Az in August 2016. Not long after we moved in I received a call from Sun Power(SP) asking if they could send a Rep to the house to discuss solar which I accepted. Mr. W represented SP. During our conversation I asked why SP had contacted me and he said because of my age. Apparently SP searches public records to find senior citizens to sell their product. As it turned out I signed up with SP and received an email on 10/24/16 stating that I was approved. Nov 2016 I rec'd a notice that the HOA approved the solar. May 17, 2017 I received a notice from the city of Surprise stating that the building permit was about to expire. 10 1,2017 I received our first bill of $262.36 from SP Several months after I received a notice from SP stating that the system was not working properly and when they sent a tech out they said that one of the lines had melted. Sept 3, 2019 I received an email stating that on August 18, 2019 SP lost connection with our home. Sept 4 2019 I called and SP said they would have someone come out in 3-4 weeks. Oct 1, 2019 SP emailed stating that when the components were received, SP would give me a call. I called SP on 10/1/2019 and asked when they had ordered the part and was told 10/1/2019. 11/4/2019 a rep said SP's 1st opening was 11/14/2019. I told him that I was totally frustrated with their service and said that "maybe they'd show up or maybe not. As it turned out, on 11/13/2019 SP cancelled the repair service. It's NOT OK to financially harm customers and think its ok. It should never have come to this.

Made appointment for what I thought was an in home consultation for solar power panels. I had my husband stay home from work to be there. Turned out to be a phone call. Would have been fine if told in advance that was the case.
It is a waste to choose this company and their sales people. The rep came to our house and said he was quoting a larger system then we would need. Apparently, he can't do math based on our electric bills because our lease and electric is about the same as before. Very minimal savings.

Were always professional, called to update,
The original order included the battery, but the installation of the panels didn't take this into account. Therefore, when it came time to install the battery, a lot of extra electrical work needed to be done. This wouldn't have been necessary if Tim, the sales person, ensured that all parties were on the same page.
It has caused my light bill to drop from almost 600 to under 100 dollars so far.
Love power from the Sun, it's clean and free, and charges my electric car. Would like to reduce dependence on oil and gas.

In some form or another I have had solar with Sun Power panels for the last 15+ years. Both purchase and lease. So far I have never been disappointed. The panels hold there efficiency very well. My first system I kept track of for close to 14 years, before I moved and the output was still 95%+. The lease I have now fits my lifestyle very well.
I have had on going problems with my inverter for over one year than have not been resovled

Have had no problems with SunPower and my bills have been wonderfully low!
Combination of excellent performance and appealing looks.
The SunPower app does not work properly since installation approx 4 months ago. We constantly receive error messages about Wifi connection; slow data transmission; etc. We are unable to see true stats for ourself so every month we have to wait for our electricity bill to confirm the system is truly working. We like to see our own stats in real time, which is what we were told we'd be able to do. When we call the SunPower customer service number we're referred to our installer. The installer has come out to check our unit multiple times, they contacted SunPower about the issue but are uncertain when the app will function properly. This app situation with no solution in sight is not ideal and we feel like we have been taken advantage of. We were told we'd be able to monitor our unit, but we cannot.
I can't see production of each panel and I'm getting three monthly reports every month, asked them to only send one (via their monitoring website) but not response.
Very professional and honest. Took time and answered all questions, not pushy.
Very professional every step of the process. Kept me informed of all steps and the follow up has been great. So happy to have worked with them.
Our bill has been substantially reduced, but not to the degree promised.

It's really too soon to discuss value until we have had the system in place for a couple of years. Upon completion I had difficulty getting promised documents.
