The salesperson, Aaron came and knocked on the door. I talked to him, trusted him, and I felt good, so I went with him. There were appointments that were made that people didn't show up for. I waited for them and they didn't show up. The solar installation and the equipment is great. My advice is to follow up better. I think the communication was off a few times and I had to call the owner directly. I think most reasonable customers don't mind waiting as long as the product is solid and they know if someone is going to show up. Better communication is needed. But overall, I think the equipment is great.

The process started out very well with Aaron, the sales rep. He was very thorough in explaining the options and what to expect. However, once the installation process started, I began to experience problems with responsiveness of the project management staff. A few examples: scheduled appointments were not kept, inspectors showed up when I didn't know they were coming, and it was very difficult to get in touch with someone from the office. It took almost 6 months to get them to correct the installation of the grounding wires that were required by the city inspector because I couldn't get anyone to answer my calls, emails or text messages. Now that the system is up and running, I am satisfied with the operations and the reduction in my electric costs, but the process of getting here was very frustrating. I am hesitant to recommend the company to anyone because of this, although the quality of the panels and other products seems to be fine.

They seem very receptive and they communicated well. I think the presale was was very good, very flexible. Unfortunately when they installed the panels they broke some of the tiles for the roof, so I'm not very happy about that. During the setup, they were very good about getting back to me very quickly. But once I ran into the problem with the roof, which was because their installer broke the tiles, they were not very quick getting back to me at all. The solar panels seem to be working fine. However, when it started to rain, I noticed that the roof was leaking and upon further investigation I found out that when they put the solar panels in, they broke a lot of tiles. The solar equipment is good. I think they acn to do a better job working with the roofer because it seemed to be a big disconnect between the installer and the solar company. The solar company honestly just faded out.

We heard good things about Sungrid from our sister-in-law until they started experiencing some trouble with the electricians. After that, we started experiencing the same thing, but in different aspects. One of the technicians / representatives was very cordial and very courteous. But other than that, the rest are not the greatest. It's only one individual. They should really take care of the customers better and do what they promise. They should repair the damages that were caused by the installation company and not make us chase them down just for a simple phone call.

If u are thinking of getting solar panels DO NOT use this company at all!!!!go somewhere else ! This is the worst company ever not only are they rude but they do not ever return phone calls or emails ! Especially the owner Andre . It’s ridiculous! I been trying to get a hold of someone since September all Andrew tells me he will get back to me never does! I only gave him one star because I had to believe me if I could give negative stars, I want would ! Regret using this company!

Never again when theres an issue it takes forever to get help. Had to get the manufacturer involved :( supposed to be watching over my panels and battery but when there was a problem i had to be the one to contact them. Will not be referring them anymore

The solar system didn't deliver the promised production kWh with a 93% offset. After waiting for a full year per SunGrid to make an adjustment. I was promised by Andrew H (the company CEO) to either move panels or add a panel at no additional cost to me to get me to the production I was quoted for. Then no responses back from him after that.
