I did tons of research on solar and learned a lot in the process. I have talked with sungevity for about 2-3 weeks and they always answered my question. They have great warranties a great product. After all the consideration, i believe my bills were too low to see any extensive saving for my utility. If anything changes in the future I will def call Sungevity back. They were honest, transparent and didnt pressure me into doing anything that was not right for me, which I appreciate. Thank you Sungevity

I spoke with Sonny N, an inside sales representative of Sungevity. At my request, his company designed a solar installation that would satisfy 92% of my home's electric consumption.
Because of my low electric consumption and the low electric costs in our area (11 cents/kWh), Sungevity prepared a 20-year projection that showed the solar installation did not make sense financially for my home. I sincerely appreciate that kind of honesty and integrity, when dealing with any company, but particularly a company that is selling a relatively complex product such as a solar system.

I’m writing this review for my parents. I learned a lot of about solar and the different options that can be beneficial for our house. After the sales person explained what option wasn’t best for us, it really made most sense to own than lease the system for our needs. Sungevity is using the best technology, panels, good warranties and I very confident this company is for us. I’ve heard great things from friends who went with them and hope to get the process going very soon.

My experience with Sungevity has been top notch! Raymond has been extremely thorough during every step of the process and even took the time to compare an entire contract with a competitor company that I brought to him. He definitely went line by line to explain the nuances of the contracts, warranty, and payback performance guarantee. The entire process has been pressure free and I'm excited to go Solar with him holding my hand through the process.

I have had the best experience with Horizon Solar Power!!! I want to give a huge shoutout to the people that this happen - Kaelene, Fred, Brenton, Leon, Olivia, Brita, Rosa, Jose and Danny. I want to thank all of you for keeping me informed in every step of the process. You have made this experience such a positive experience. They came out on Thursday to complete my roof and installed my panels on Friday. I had my inspection the following Tuesday and passed the first time. Thank you for making this a seamless process. Way to go Horizon!!!

I received a sales call follow up from Kellee M. I told him we are shopping around getting quotes. What I liked best was that there was no hassle. He agreed that it was the right thing to do.
I text him a photo of our Edison bill to review. We will be talking later today about our options. I like that we can do this over the phone. It was a pleasure speaking with Kellee.

Solar Spectrum - Zac O (project manager) has done a phenomenal job of staying on top of everything through the course of this project. He is very pleasant, helpful, patient and has a laser eye focus in every step of the way. He is very good in follow up and follow through. He went beyond the boundaries of giving excellent and exceptional customer service.
I'm more than 100% willing to recommend him and his company to families, relatives, friends and strangers who are planning to have solar panels installed in their respective houses.

I didn't end up getting Solar... I worked with Sonny, he reviewed a full year of my energy usage and was a up front about the costs (including things that other solar companies didn't mention) and the benefits for us. We talked thru a couple of scenarios, and how things would play out, but we use so little electricity that it didn't seem worth it for us - Sonny agreed. Maybe a few years down the road we'll broach the subject again, I'll definitely start with Sungevity when that time comes.

Been working with Anthony R and had a great experience with him, great guy and he's on point, he knows his systems and spend time explaining my options,offered me the best system for my bucks, withen 33 days the system from signing the paperwork my system was fully installed which unheard of.everything went quickly and it was clean install, also worked worked with his project manger Stephen and he was communicative and kept me in the loop. We are pleased of where we at now. Waiting on final inspection and turn the system on. I recomend all to work with Anthony R

My first interaction with him was in August 2018 when I called Spectrun Solar to discuss a possible solar project. Got installed 5 months and and pleased to say very happy with the installation and process. Sales consultant was informable and gave me the best option for me. Panel look good they painted the conduit nice. Took a while to get interconnected but knew it was out of control of Sungevity, as Alex set expectation it was in the utilities hands to turn it on. Haven’t had a bill from PGE since! We’ll be referring some neighbors as well. Great referral program.

The sales representative Patrick S was great and guided me throughout the process. He was available during and after work hours, weekends, and answered questions/concerns even after the sales process was over completed and implementation was going on. I give him a 5+ star rating.
The only bad thing about the process was it took along time from when the installation completed to actually turning on the system. However, a lot of the delay had to do with utility company taking long to do some of the tasks (inspection, report, meter...etc.)

"Ask for Pat! He was by far the most knowledgeable rep I spoke with during the process of looking for a solar company. Very thorough and made the process seamless. We highly recommend him and this company. We also received immediate response and support from the back end and installation team. The install team did a great job and answered any questions I had while they were on site. When they were done, my property was left spotless. You couldnt even tell they were there. Except for the 44 beautiful solar panels they left on my roof.

Alex from Sungevity was very nice, professional, and explained their proposal in detail. We will be having a phone appt. very soon to go over further details of a contract. Haven't decided yet which company I will go with, although Sungevity is the most expensive. Price isn't always the deciding factor when choosing a home improvement contract, customer service is far more important, and so far I don't know about theirs.

We were originally going to go with the tesla solar company as our final decision. We had received quotes from more than six different solar companies and thought that Tesla was the best fit for us. My wife did not want anyone else give me us an estimate, and was simply tired of the entire process. Your representative Michael was knowledgeable straightforward, and very personable. Without even needing to think about it we committed with your solar company as a result of his professionalism. You should be proud to have an employee/manager of his caliber.

I had my solar panels installed via Solar Spectrum and decided to make that plunge after couple of years waiting. The project manager they assigned Eli G was nice to work with and provided periodic updates. Now panels are installed, inspected and was given go-ahead by PG&E and they are now functional and active. I am satisfied by the customer service provided and hopefully they continue this trend!

Jarrett was my salesman. He was very nice and professional. He resolved all my concerns promptly. Chava was my technician. He was honest and let me know that one of my panels wasn’t working and some roof tiles were broken even after the inspection was complete so he could have just left. He got the panel working and promised to get the roof fixed.

It was was obvious after checking out several other solar companies that an effective service and customer satisfaction was more important to. Him than making a quick sale. Solar Spectrum explained in such great detail about their system and what to expect. I am new to looking at solar as I just moved into my home 3 months ago. I had a phone consultation with Alex earlier today for almost an hour and broke down how solar works and explained my relationship with PG&E. He asked many questions about my energy needs that I never took account for but made me realize it might change in future. I felt really good about this company so far but still very new. I am giving them 4 stars due to I haven't made my decision yet whether I will move forward, but there is a good chance I will go with this company.

After months of searching at different companies I really chose solar spectrum because they are very direct and explained every detailed part of the system. Alex did a great job following up and giving me all options possible that made the most financial sense. Although I didn’t get qualified for their financing, Alex worked hard and found a different program that worked for me. Very professional and was very transparent what to expect in the next couple months. Highly recommend this company to go solar.

We really never thought we could go solar because we had a low credit score (after xmas time our balances were kind of high) or that we might have to put a lot of money down. but with Edison's 2018 rate increase coming we thought we need to get ahead of it and try to go solar. After our research we decided on horizon and Paul D. was our rep and what a professional he is. No around the world sales tactics just straight talk and we like that. My sale representative Erik L. was very ambitious and prompt to all of my needs. Mr. Lingren provided to me all of the necessary information and went above and beyond to get me extra incentives that Horizon Solar had to offer at the time. My only complaint would be the communication aspect or lack there of between the installation crews and them correlating times with county inspectors. The installation crews and inspectors missed each other on multiple occasions during my install therefore proplonging the installation.

Company did a great job from start to finish. My salesperson Kyle M. recommended purchasing a system instead of leasing like all the other companies pitched me and I am very grateful for that due to getting the solar credits from NJ. He had my best interests in mind. There was one hiccup in which their installer did not show up on time, but I called Kyle who handled it quickly and professionally. I just got turned on and everything seems to be working well.

Excellent product. Excellent initial customer service. They were the first - the only company to call me back from my first inquiry. Did what they said when they said it. However afterwards things got a little jumbled. I had to email multiple times to get them to straighten things out with the city and actually get the system turned on! The people who were in charge of my job left the company after the installation was finished. No one would tell me why. Eventually the system got up and running. To be fair, the city of Los Angeles was very slow getting their part done, and very picky about some changes they wanted. Also I installed a new roof at the same time, which complicated the schedule. However the work was done well. I still haven't been able to get them to connect me to the promised site where I can see how much electricity the panels are generating. So - Great in the beginning. Petered out at the end. But over all very responsive to my needs and communications, excellent product, and definitely the best of any company I called.

Horizon put in my system 2 years ago. I had a great crew both on my roof and the panel/inverter installer. It has operated flawlessly. My bills for electricity have been about $70 each year. This past year I produced over 200 kwh more electricity than I used. I just had a service visit. It was not because I had a problem. Sun Run was not getting status information from my system even though everything was working properly. The technician changed their meter/transmitter so they were getting the production and status info properly. Great investment!!

I really appreciate the education I received from Amory about solar, both the about the panels and the service with the utility. I am absolutely convinced that Solar Spectrum has the best product and the best service. Several other companies called/emailed after I communicated with Solar Spectrum and none matched their quality of product nor knowledge. Unfortunately, with my low electrical usage and the limited likelihood that I'll still own this house 10 years from now, I've decided to not move forward with solar.
If I decide to put in solar, Solar Spectrum would be my only choice. My rating is a 9 rather than 10 only because I chose not to experience the full cycle of their service.

I had a Solar Company ( Different company) come to my house with a pitch to install a Solar System. I have been looking into Solar as an option for some time now. I was very happy with what the gentleman showed me and wanted to compare prices of other Solar installers. I looked up the top rated Solar companies in RI and Solar Spectrum came up as number1. I gave them a call and was connected to a Customer service person who was MUCH more than I could have hoped for. Very knowledgeable and even after I told her that I needed a ground mount (which they don't install) she continued to help me get what information I need.
For a company that could not sell me a system, she was amazing and getting me the facts I need to make a reasonable decision.

Everything was so smooth before, during and after the installation and no need for me to be a watchdog at all. they even bothered to let me know that the county inspection required them to replace the electric box as it did not meet their codes. The info via my computer was established and without any problem for me to check the solar functions and how much KwH it obtains during the day. PG&E was involved.Sungevity and them worked together.
