My roof that I thought was 24 yrs old & in serious need of replacement turned out with a little research to be actually 37 yrs old... As luck would have it, an Erie rep appeared at my door. I had previous companies provide inspection & estimates, but wasn't satisfied with either the cost (mostly too high for basic asphalt roofing, but in one case too low to be trustworthy). The Erie rep did a thorough inspection & gave a full & detailed account of what would be needed to address the issues which would include repair of certain sections of the plywood platform under the roof, all new flashings & vent pipes, new undercoating & a full new roof crown. The estimate based on fiberglass shingles with a 30-year warranty after 2 discounts for being a veteran & senior citizen was in the neighborhood of previous estimates for a regular asphalt roof with a warranty of only 10 years. But in addition, the estimate given was set in stone: it wouldn't be a cent over the figure provided regardless if other issues were discovered in the course of replacement. So if some damage to other areas of the plywood platform were found, for instance, the repair would be made at no extra cost. The work itself was scheduled about 10 days after the estimate & a crew did the entire project in a single 12-hour work day. The crew was punctual & worked efficiently & often in tandem as if choreographed. The clean up was ongoing during the process & I was extremely happy with both the process & the results. I would recommend Erie very highly with no reservations.

Sales reps did a great job showing the options/products. Contract start went very smoothly. Installation went very smoothly. Clean-up was almost perfect and that's saying a lot since the job required thousands of nails/screws and generated thousands of old shingle bits in my yard. I observed the installation team most of the time and I was impressed with their competency and work ethic. The whole team had good follow-thru.

Everything the Erie C did for me in the installation of my new roof was wonderful. The. salesman gave me the information I needed to make a decision and answered all my questions. He was very courteous and patient. Two managers followed up phone calls and one came to see me to insure any concerns were addressed. Then we discussed the date for the installation. The installation team worked in hot sun and completed the job. They removed debris (mostly old shingles) and left my lawn clean.

Amanda, the sales rep who came up to give me a quote on a new roofing system very impressive with her knowledge of her product and how it meets and or surpasses code requirements. She inspected the roof made videos of all the sites where the current roof is failing and how her product would remedy those situations in the future. She went over the warranty the reviews and went in depth on the strengths of her roofing systems. Their guarantee was also very impressive. It basically cuts out the middleman. We discussed money issues and finance possibilities and different ways to cut some cost. I felt very comfortable and dealing with Amanda. She was very personable and did not give a hard cell was not pushy. 20 years ago I wouldn’t have flinched about purchasing the roof system from her with the warranty and guarantee that they have for the system been un, unfortunately due to fixed finances and having to sell my house it just didn’t make sense for me to put out that kind of money for something I was no longer going to be owning. I have a lot of doctors and another professionals as family and friends and I will recommend highly Amanda and the Erie roof company if they need their roof replaced.

ERIE HOME, came out to the with an great inspector, salesman and took the time to explained every detail of our roof he was with in 2 years of our original install. Went over several options till we found what we could afford. Within two weeks the installers were here they worked hard doing the tear off, redecking, with the perfect weather shield (what is sold us the job) to the perfect color of shingles and craftsmanship of the installers. To the clean up crew they an remarkable job .

The quoting process was simple and did not take too much time. Scheduling the work went really fast. The morning of the install, the team showed up early and was ready to start the tear off of the old roof. New roof was installed with no issues. The team cleaned up as they went. When the job was complete, the installation manager was present to ensure everything was completed as promised.

Sat 4-13-24 ERIE ROOFS installed our New IKO, Dynasty, 30-year Roof... From start to finish, we could not have had a harder working, more skilled crew than who installed our new roof. I was very pleased to see them using nails instead of those cheap staples so many roofers are using to cut their co$t.. and while I feel the co$t was high, I guess being 74-years old makes everything over-priced; but like the old saying goes; “You get what you pay for!” I will say, if their warranty ends up as good as their workmanship, I should never have to worry about my roof again, ever!!! Seriously speaking, it was a true pleasure having these folks on our property and doing the outstanding job they did for us.. (To completely tear off the entire old roof, down to the decking, installing a much better vapor barrier, (vs the old roofing felt) installing Water-&-Ice on the edges, hips and valleys, and any roof with under a 3-12 pitch, followed with their shingles, and all in one day! (These folks don’t less grass grow under their feet). My wife and I did find a few nails scattered around the yard, that they missed, but with the amount of shingles, nails, roofing felt, and steeples they removed, I guess that’s almost expected.. I believe I may have missed some myself, the last time I re-shingled the house.) I cannot give them a higher recommendation, and they certainly earn and deserve all FIVE STARS!!! THANKS again to ERIE Roofing, and especially the hard working crews they are Blessed with!!!

Did an excellent install and cleanup. With most roofing jobs there are always lots of things that continue to show up - nails, plastic strips, etc. Not with these guys. They did two roofs, the house and a utility house. My yard sowed no signs of wear. No truck or trailer tracks. No material was delivered ahead. Everything was professionally done. Looks great.

Two representatives came to our home and evaluated the condition of our roof both outside and inside. No one has ever been so thorough!!! Price was high, but the warranty seems worth it. They arrived at 8 am and were finished before 2 pm!!! The crew was exceptionally fast and competent. Our only issue was the water diverter above front porch; the job boss did not want to fix it properly, even though it was there before! After I posted a blistering review , I spoke with a higher level administrator who got the job done right. So far, roof looks great; we found some nails in yard and on driveway. Overall, good work!!!

We really wanted to rate 4.5 but let me summarize: - Overall process was generally pretty good - Free estimate - Accepted the project after much deliberation - Laid out the project scope - Confirmed project, materials - Good communication before the actual project We decided to replace our old shingled roof with a textured metal roof. So it would require a complete tear-off. - Gutter considerations caused some concern - Dumpster coordination slightly botched by third party - Good communication during the project - Delayed starting work day to accommodate our schedules - Professional, worked quickly and diligently (1-2 day estimate ended up as a 1 day project) - protected the windows with large boards, laid down tarps to contain the mess as best as they could - no major messes left behind (even though we found some nails throughout the yard the next couple of days) - final payment was a little hassle because credit card portion of the payment was either "write it on paper" or "take it over the phone" Apparently their default process for this is to write down the card number (on a piece of paper) and run it later, but also apparently they have a lot of people (unsurprisingly) refuse to do this, so it seems like a point of friction that Erie can improve in the future. I wanted to put some on the credit card for some of those sweet points. After the project: - communication was good from my project manager, but pretty bad from the marketing/follow-up survey department (this is the 4th survey sent, no follow-up communication when questions were asked, their supposed vendor birdeye has a URL that I scanned and a particular vulnerability came up so I opted not to fill that one out) We really got it for the 100 year guarantee* on the metal roof.

I absolutely love the new roof, it looks great! My only negative about it is that I'm still cleaning up parts from the old roof out of the yard( nails, shingles...). I have not had any problems with leaks or shingles lifting off the new roof in any of the weather. It's been GREAT!
