American-Made

Neighbors Jim Petersen and Joe Dean started PetersenDean as a result of a passion for construction. Though the two friends have made their company into an industry leader, they haven’t forgotten their roots. PetersenDean is dedicated to keeping jobs in the U.S. and increasing the amount of local jobs.

The Bad

  • Availability

Availability

Though PetersenDean provides quality roofing services and meets customer expectations, they only provide roofing services in three states at this time (California, Texas, and Florida). If you live in another state, you’ll either have to wait until PetersenDean expands their services into your state, or find a business with similar experience and quality.

The Bottom Line

All said, there aren’t many downsides to choosing PetersenDean as your roofing and solar service. As long as you happen to live in one of the three states in which they operate, we recommend PetersenDean if you’re looking for quality roofs and great customer service.

Terrence Jue Berkeley, CA

The management at Petersen & Dean talk a good line but fail on customer service. I had them re roof and take down and reinstall a system that was 10 years old. I was termed a 'Legacy Client' with Enphase, the solar system used. Enphase supplied me with their latest updated microinverters, I waited 4 months for the re roof and solar during which i asked the job manager to check the upcated equipment ....which wasn't done. Upon job completion, P & D did not install the new controller and when I asked about it their job manager said it was not in the contract.....in fact they never checked to see if the system was working properly. I asked twice about the installation of the controller but they never got back to me. I did not like the attitude of their job manager. The workers are good and considerate but management did not take care of details of follow up and customer service. I would not use them again....
