With more than 55 offices statewide, they are more than capable of helping their customers to find their dream home. They have created a space where customers can connect with agents who live and work in the specific area the customer is looking to move into. These essential relationships allow them to have quick turnaround time for homes on the market, which is great news for both buyers and sellers in the real estate market.

One thing that Realty USA does very well in their property listings is describe the type of neighborhood that the property is in. Each listing has which school district it falls under as part of their basic description of the property. The customer can also go under the Community Tools section to find a deeper breakdown of the school district. This breakdown shows each of the schools within that district and their report card. The report card shows a lot of information about the school including:

Number of students
Number of teachers
Student/teacher ratio
Expenditure per student
Start and end dates for school year

If the customer wants more in-depth information about any aspect of the school (students, teachers, facilities, or academia) they can give some information and the school will allow access to that information. For those customers with school-age children, this type of information is very helpful and important in the decision making process. The Community Tools section gives other very valuable information besides just the school descriptions for the customers. In the Community Information page, the customer can find many statistics of those people who live in the area. Some of this information includes:

Population
Median age
Average family size
Median household income
Education levels breakdown
Average temperatures, rainfall and snow levels
State income tax rates

There is a lot of other information in this section about the specific demographics of the neighborhood. All of this will help the customer compare their life and lifestyle to the average resident of the neighborhood to see if they will fit in and be similar. Another really helpful section in the Community Tools is the cost of living breakdown. In this section the customers can find the average utility costs and other bills commonly paid in the area. This is extremely helpful for the customer to see if they can afford to live in the area, since the cost of moving is much more than just the mortgage payment. The customer can also find a crime rate index to show how the neighborhood compares to the national averages.

Obviously one of the main downsides for customers who wish to use the services and features offered by Realty USA is that they only offer these services to those who are looking to live in the state of New York. The only listings that are available through the agencies and agents represented by Realty USA are in this specific state, nowhere else. The listings also seem to be limited within the state of New York as well, as in they do not cover the entire state but instead specific regions. Some of these regions include:

Syracuse/Central/Auburn
Ithaca/Cortland
Capital Region/Albany
Binghamton
Glen Falls and Lake George Queensbury

There are several other regions that the customer can choose from. Even with this long list of regions throughout New York State that the customer can choose from, they are still extremely limited to where they can find a new home at through Realty USA. Another downside for customers who are using Realty USA to find their new home is their lack of information on the price of the homes that are listed on their website. The actual price of the home is basically the only information about this part of the property that is given. Most of the other real estate searching companies provide a lot more information to their customers about the price of the property. That can include the history of the price of the home, which would show the customer previous sales of the home and how the price has evolved. There is also often a place where the customer can compare the price of the property they are looking at to the value or price of other similar properties in the area; this helps them to see if they are getting a good deal or if the price is too high. They also do not offer the customer how long the property has been on the market or a price per square foot breakdown. All of this information is generally available through other companies and really helps the customer to navigate whether they are paying a good price for the property or not, which will help them make a decision.

For those customers who are looking to move to the specific regions in the state of New York, the listings provided will help them find a new home that will fit their needs. The listings have a large data-base of information about the community and neighborhood that give the customer a good representation of life in the area. The Realty USA team lives and works in the areas that they represent, so they can really help the customer find exactly what they are looking for. But the customer has to want to live in these areas or else they will not be able to use the services of Realty USA.
