FRAUD! Even when you win the auction and meet the reserve they still reject your offer. This has happened to me. It's also clear from spending enough time bidding on Hubzu's site that they have surreptitious "inside" bidders to falsely push prices up to give the appearance of demand for a property and trick inexperienced buyers into overpaying on property. This is a fraudulent company that should be avoided, and further, investigated by officials who oversee the real estate industry.

In simple words, these people, doesn`t know what they do it , I lost more than $ 5000 in one deal because they are sucks, no professional,don`t deliver what the promise, they don`t think about you just about your money, they are very nice until they collect your money, soon they get your earnest money deposit you are done! you never hear from then anymore. they come with a dirty hand writer title with lot issues in it, I complain because that they cancel my deal and kept my deposit, don`t buy any house from those people, unless you have money to loose.

The perception of Hubzu is that each 5 or 6 day auction has a new beginning bid and a new reserve. This concept of moving reserves means that properties often sell for less than the early bids on the properties-- the early bidders get frustrated and leave and the property is scooped up once the reserve is lower. Bidding should simply start at the reserve and go from there. Seems to be a disservice to sellers as well as buyers.

After dealing with this company for several weeks now, it seems to me that the last thing that they want to do is sell a house. The next to last thing they want to do is provide a pleasant costumer service experience. I am not sure how they are still in business, or even why they are in business in the first place, being that they show no signs of actually wanting to conduct business. If at possible DO NOT do business with this company. The market place has no room for bad business. Please help these guys fail so that better companies can take its place.

My experience with Hubzu has been terrible. There are no rules to help the bidders/buyers. The customer service helpless, unable to answer questions, unable to make reforms. Fails to state number of times property has been auctioned. Fails to state number of times property been to contract and cancelled. Reserve prices can be set 50% or higher than the starting bid, to attract bidders, resulting in cancelled sale.

There is a house across the street from us in Beech Bluff, TN they have listed, we know the people that used to live there, auction bidding starts at $9000, which would be about $8500 too much for this property, and they want to sell it for $13,000??? You can see the dirt foundation through the floors, house is in very poor condition, rotten wood, sewer runs out on the property next door. I would definitely recommend people physically going out to look at this companies properties before doing any business with them, they say you get what you pay for, in this case you wouldn't even get that.

We thought we would receive an email to tell us how to pay for the property instead we did receive an email from Hubzu stating that they wanted more money and that we did not win the property. The property is now back up for bidding at the same reserve price ending 03/07/2016...... WOW

Never heard from them then they re listed the house. Decided to go take a look inside, found the house needed a new foundation. Leaking everywhere The house was a disaster. Yet on the Web site they only show u what's not true about the house. Waste of your time!!

A home in Boca Raton, FL was just sold for $450,000 however no where does it mention there is an $80,000 golf membership that also must be paid for plus restaurant fees and HOA dues. When I called to ask they had no answer. What out for them they are did not mention the $80,000 to trick a bidder. Another house I was the high bidder on I found out the pictures of the kitchen were before they were removed. They are not honest and beware so you do not get ripped off

Their inexperience overseas customer service is a disaster. These people have no clue about a real estate transaction. Being a real estate professional, you will feel waist of your valuable time communicating with them. I had to drop out multiple transactions because of them. They will nod their head affirming everything you discuss but they they understand to followup to facilitate a closing. Definitely they are in wrong business. It's unfair to all parties involved in a transaction, especially, the seller is getting screwed for poor representation.

Staff at Altisource are arrogant even though far from competent Was told I would get confirmation of sale in three days....8 days later was still waiting. Hubzu has numerous problems. Sellers do not accept the high bid. It takes repeated bidding at odd hours to even be the winning bidder. Closers do not respond to emails. Sellers do not deliver properties in a timely manner. The process is full of tricks and traps -- sellers do not pay the usual seller closing costs, ridiculous fees are added all over the place. Sellers try to dump properties that are still occupied and still in court proceedings. Need I say more?

Went under contract on a house they had listed for sale. Found out it had a second mortgage that had not been satisfied after 2 closing dates had been rescheduled. Thankfully we chose not to use their title service. They told me personally the second mortgage did not show up when they researched the title prior to listing the house. Pulled out of the contract while waiting on the third closing date because they had made no progress on closing the second mortgage and they re listed the house the very next day!

Hubzu leads you to believe that your bidding will get you the property in the allotted days to close the bidding. WRONG! After the bidding closes and you receive confirmation that you are the highest bidder they then send you a email saying you must give another 18,000.00 to get the property. What a crooked deal!

It does not make sense. It does not make sense. I bid on few property's " toal 4" during last month on 2 of them i was highest bidder but i received email from them that seller did not approve me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe most of these reviews are not real. . So shady, not honest about process and fees. do not waste your time.

Bid on afew houses on hubzu was highest bidder on both they send me an email saying one of the houses someone bid a higher bid after auction was over and the other one said didn't meet reserve price and put it back on market, they could of contacted me and I would of offered reserve price. Will never refer them to anyone

I'm not really sure at this point. After bidding receive two emails that property was sold to high bid, than received a email that said that it had to be cleared by seller and most likely they would be in contact with us about our bid. Confusing, Hubzu unable to clarify. We'll see????

They cancelled my deal in a middle of transaction due to lender's appraiser not getting appraisal report on time. The seller refused to even return the EMD even after we provided them lender's approval and asked for few week extension. This company is a SCAM and harms public. FTC should investigate!

If you are looking at the property at 1405 Knight Avenue in Dunkirk, MD beware. This house has been vacant for 7 months. About 7 months ago the pipes inside the home broke. The home flooded with approximately 165,000 gallons of water. The home has was not cleaned and there has to be black mold inside. Buyer beware.

Hubzu has a home online that says it is a 4 bedroom, 2 baths and 17000 sq ft. It is a one bedroom with possibility of 2 with one bath and 12000 sq ft. How can they do that? Don' t bid without checking property stats. It is the one that says 21448 Carlton st Crest Hill Illinois.
