The Good

• Neighborhood tours

Many real estate search sites allow their customers to filter their searches by different aspects of the properties, like how many bedrooms or overall size of the home. Most of these competitors also allow their customers to set a minimum price and maximum price for the listings they see to fall within. Some other sites offer a few more specific filters to their customers but Coast 2 Coast offers a very large variety of search filters compared to these other companies. The additional filters that their customers can utilize include:

• Subdivision
• Complex Community Name
• Water Body Name

All of these advanced search filters allow the customer to search for something that they really do want in their new home. These filters do not mean that the specific property they are looking for exists, but it gives the customer the opportunity to at least look and really try to find that exact space. If a customer is unsure of which specific neighborhood they would like to move into, they can take a tour of the neighborhood put together by the Coast 2 Coast team. These tours are detailed descriptions of the neighborhoods that include what amenities are nearby. This might include what restaurants, golf courses, and any nearby water features. A little peek into the type of lifestyle that the customer can have in this area will help them to know if they want to look for a home in that community.

The Bad

• Availability

Even though the customer will be able to make their search for a new home as specific as they want and will be able to take advantage of all of the search filters available, they will be very limited in the properties they will be able to see. On Coast 2 Coast, customers will be able to find listings in Florida, Nevada and Texas. And even within those states there are limited areas where listings are available from. These areas include:

• Austin
• Bradenton
• Tampa
• Hillsborough
• Sarasota
• A few others

This limitation in the places that listings are offered through Coast 2 Coast is a major problem for many potential customers. Three states is a very small portion of the country that people might be needing to relocate to. Those customers who are moving to other places besides Florida, Nevada and Texas will have to look somewhere else through a different company in order to find a new place to live in.

The Bottom Line

The only way that customers will be able to find a new place to live through Coast 2 Coast is if they want to move into their very limited market. Only listings in Nevada, Texas, and Florida are posted through this company and therefore the only place that customers can move to. If the customer is interested in an area within these states, they will find a lot of good information within these listings. The customer will be able to filter their search for a new home very specifically to find just what they are looking for.
