Lacks Core Majors

While the University of Wisconsin offers a number of programs for students at all post-secondary levels, it has omitted several core major programs from its online offering, including the following:
  • Computer Science
  • Communications
  • Political Science
  • Business Management
  • Economics

No National Accreditation

The Bottom Line

UW offers a high quality educational experience to its online students. Students can expect to receive the same great education as their on-campus peers while completing course work at their own pace. The university also offers some of the most affordable tuition rates in the industry; however, students interested in pursuing degrees in computer science, business management, or nursing will need to look elsewhere.
