Iowa Central Community College aims to provide a comprehensive college assisting in developing the abilities of the members of the surrounding community. Established in 1966, ICCC began offering educational options to the residents of the nine counties surrounding campus. To meet the needs of those residents, the college began to offer online courses. A philosophy built on giving students experience that will benefit them in the professional work environment makes online courses necessary. A strong focus on the individual student makes ICCC an important part of the Iowa community. ICCC is working to continually innovate and improve in order to move students forward in an evolving professional world. ICCC promotes: intellectual discovery, physical development, social and ethical awareness, and economic opportunities to each of it students while hoping to strengthen the community.
