Northern Arizona University is public university with the main campus located in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was established in 1899 and is classified as a public research university. They are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and they have been classified by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education as a high research activity university.
Since its founding, Northern Arizona University has grown to accommodate a number of students. They have 36 satellite campuses and offer online programs. With multiple platforms, cost for tuition and associated fees are a bit more expensive than other online programs. The cost per credit hour is $624 and the number of required credits for degree completion vary based on the program.
With the costs of tuition being so high, it would be nice to have the option of credit for life experience. However, NAU online does not offer this service at this time. That means if you have worked in a field that you are studying, you will not be able to use that knowledge to opt out of certain credits.
