The Bad

  • Program Limitations
  • Average Job Placement Rate

Program Limitations

While American Career College has the ability to put students on a fast-paced track to employment, there are things prospective students should be aware of prior to enrolling in an ACC program. These concerns include the following:
  • Limited degree options (only AS and BS degrees offered)
  • Only healthcare related programs offered
  • No online option

Average Job Placement Rate

Despite providing a number of services to their students and graduates regarding job placement, their job placement rate upon graduation is relatively low. The Bottom Line

Although American Career College is a for-profit university, they do not offer complete online options at this time. Most for-profit universities do offer online degrees, but with the technical and medical aspect of their speciality, American Career College is unable to make that transition at this time. Prospective students interested in earning a medical-related degree and wish to enroll in American Career College will need to complete the following steps:
  1. Contact Admissions Advisor
  2. Submit admissions form
  3. Take the Wonderlic SLE entrance evaluation
  4. Take additional evaluations related to specific program
The application process can be completed online.
