Broadview University has been offering its programs since 1977. Previous names of the University include The Bryman School and Utah Career College. The university operates as a for-profit institution of higher education. With a focus on graduating students with degrees that are career-ready, the university has evolved, adjusting as technological advances have shifted its focus and, in many cases created new fields of study. Originally only operating only one campus in Salt Lake City, Utah, now known as the BEAU Campus, Broadview University currently operates locations in West Jordan, Utah, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Additionally, Broadview University operates campuses as Globe University in Appleton, La Crosse, Wausau, Eau Claire, and Madison, Wisconsin.

Broadview University helps its students save on their tuition and graduate faster with its CareerPath program. This innovative method allows students to maintain a predictable schedule while accelerating their course completion. Classes are blocked into two course per six week terms, allowing students to complete four courses per quarter and being enrolled full-time. Those enrolled in the CareerPath program can receive a discounted tuition of up to 25 percent.
