We had a fantastic experience with Smooth Move Moving Services! They helped us move from North Jersey to Stamford, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The crew arrived exactly on time, treated all of our furniture and belongings with care, and worked incredibly hard throughout the day, despite it being the hottest day of the year and over 100 degrees. They were efficient, professional, and made what could have been a very stressful move so much easier.
It’s not easy trusting people with everything you own, but they exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated how careful and organized they were, and nothing was damaged during the move. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Smooth Move again and will absolutely be calling them the next time we move.

Sales Consultant: Michelle was the best, she was able to schedule me in the following day for a move/ junk removal without any issues and was very nice.
Moving Team: Roger, Rommer, Doris, arrived the follow day and were extremely nice, the move out with smoothly and quick.
I highly recommend asking for Michelle to assist you with managing your move out, also ask for Roger, Rommer & Doris to be your moving team. A are great people.

We moved within Norwalk. Several floors, 4 BR, with multiple stairs on both ends of the move. SM&D kept up a perfect level of communication throughout the entire process (pricing, planning, and execution of the move). I received several calls the week before to make sure that our packing was going along well and asking if we needed help. The process of pricing was easy and clear - all of the details were there. Highly recommend.

Being 61 and facing a big move I was really tense and nervous. I called a bunch of places which gave me a flat estimate but when I looked up their reviews they were always mixed with many pointing out that they were hit after the move with unforeseen charges because THEIR ESTIMATE was off. Smooth
Move started with a FaceTime call having me go through every square inch of my house to tell how they were going to pack the mirrors/lamps and bulky items so I knew they’d be safe and develop an accurate estimate. They also gave me ways I could save on their services during that call. That made me feel secure and in safe hands.
On the day of the move a team of movers came and introduced themselves and treated me like I was their own family. They all put me at ease and I could tell they had worked together for a long time as each member performed a different job and worked together like a well oiled machine. They even put on dance music and some sang while they worked which lifted the very tense atmosphere I was giving off about the move in general. The leader kept me informed about how the move would progress and when they expected to be finished. Before I knew it I was feeling excited instead of nervous and the whole crew talked, sang and joked around with me while they worked so cheerfully! My kids and I felt like part of the crew and we all ended up having a great time! At the end they made sure I went into every room and looked at every box to make sure everything was accounted for and put in the right place. A day I was dreading turned out to be a fabulous time. These were really wonderful people who really took the time to include us and made us feel special! What a truly wonderful experience. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!!!
