I had such a great experience and flawless move. From my first conversation with Chris I knew I was in good hands, and everything we discussed was exactly how my move went. This was a long distance move from NY to FL. 6 very nice and professional men came to pick up my stuff on Monday and were in and out in less than 2 hours. My things arrived in FL exactly a few days later when they very supposed to, and the long distance crew were amazing. I highly recommend using Slattery Moving and Storage for reliable people and a stress free move.

Moving is never easy, but it's a lot better with Slattery! The office staff were wonderful. Creating our list and getting an estimate was quick and easy. Communication was great. They also handled all the insurance paperwork with the management company so I didn't have to do anything except pack. The crew was great. They arrived on time. Angel, the crew leader, went over all the details and made sure the team knew what to pack and what to leave (we decided to personally move our kitchen and some of our more personal items). They got right to work. The team was efficient and focused. They didn't just throw a blanket over the sofa either. Our sofa and other furniture was wrapped in blankets and taped up. On the back end of the move, they unwrapped and set up everything exactly where we wanted it. Moving out and moving in - not a single scratch, nick, bump or damage to any of our furniture, walls or floors. We were amazed at how quickly it all went. I would highly recommend Slattery Moving & Storage.

Packing and moving out of state is stressful enough, I’m so thankful that scheduling a date/ time was easy and accommodating. Lightning Fast, Flawless, and Somehow Still Smiling — Slattery Did It Again
After an amazing first experience with Slattery Movers during the first half of our “double move,” we specifically requested the same crew for move #2 into our new home and Slattery delivered!
Not only did they send back Juan, Luka and the team, but they somehow managed to exceed our already high expectations.
What was originally estimated as a two-day move was completed in just ONE day without a single issue, without a single damaged item, and without the team ever making us feel rushed or stressed. It was honestly incredible to watch.
Juan, Luka and the crew worked with the same calm professionalism, efficiency, and care we remembered from our first move. By now it felt less like hiring movers and more like welcoming a trusted team back to help our family through another major transition.
And I’ll admit… I changed my mind on furniture placement more than once. Not only were they endlessly accommodating about my “flip-flopping,” but they genuinely helped us make better decisions with thoughtful placement suggestions and problem-solving ideas along the way. Every request was met with patience and a smile.
What continues to impress me most about Slattery is the consistency of their service. From scheduling and communication to execution on move day, everything is organized, responsive, professional, and human. Their operations team checked in afterward to make sure everything went smoothly, which really speaks volumes about the company culture.
Moving twice in a short period of time could have been a nightmare, but Slattery Movers made both experiences feel manageable and honestly, even positive.
