From the start, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing Slattery. I had sold my townhome and had to put my belongings in storage for a couple of months ( over the summer) until I moved into my new coop in Westchester. The move was seamless. The crew was friendly and organized and treated my belongings with care. The team was able to organize the move to my new coop with the building’s management company. It was priceless. I didn’t have to do anything. None of my belongings or furniture had any moldy smell. I believe they have temperature controlled storage units. Pricing was very reasonable. I strongly recommend using them. They are a treasure.

An Amazing NY to Florida Moving Experience!
We recently moved from New York to Florida, and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience from start to finish!
On the New York end, a crew came in to carefully pack our pictures, mirrors, and other items that I wasn’t able to pack myself. They worked quickly and efficiently, were extremely careful with everything, and left my house clean and organized when they were finished. I was very impressed with how smoothly everything went.
Today was our move-in day in Florida. Rob was absolutely sensational! He went completely out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. He was careful, friendly, professional, and handled everything like a true pro. You would think this was his company. He even managed to back the trailer into our cul-de-sac — my husband was freaking out a bit because he wasn’t sure the tractor-trailer would make it down our street! 😂 Rob has some impressive driving and maneuvering skills!
The gentleman working with Rob was amazing as well. He worked as though this was his own company and took tremendous pride in making sure everything was done perfectly. His work ethic and attention to detail were impressive, and he really went above and beyond.
The NY crew was also fantastic throughout the process. Everyone was professional, hardworking, courteous, and respectful of our belongings. I was impressed by the lead crew member how he came in and assessed everything, tagged items going to our florida home, & coordinated how things flowed. They left our NY home clean, so even after they left, I didn’t have to run around & clean up!🧹 😮💨
Everything arrived in one piece! Nothing was broken or damaged.
Thank you to the entire staff at Slattery Moving & Storage. From the first phone call to the last box placed in our house, they made our move stress-free! Thank you for helping us with our move from NY to Florida and for putting together such an incredible team. You made what could have been a very stressful experience feel seamless.

From the 1st call with Chris we knew Slattery was the company to go with. Chris was excellent in communicating, giving a competitive quote as well as giving advice on how to make packing easier and more efficient. He definitely helped to ease our minds during what can be a very stressful event. Bobby & crew who showed up for the junk removal, packing out fragile items & then transporting for storage were excellent, very friendly and handled everything with care. They worked very hard and quickly. They hauled out several big, heavy furniture pieces for junk removal as well as moving over 85 boxes for storage. Slattery will also be transporting our things down to Florida once we have a moving date. We highly recommend Slattery for junk removal, storage and long distance moving! We will update again after the move down to Florida.
