This was my first time using professional movers--the reason being that I'm extremely fussy about the way my things are handled. After our last move into a 3rd floor walk-up, my husband made me promise we'd never move ourselves again. So this time around, I took my time and read a lot of reviews before choosing MOOvers Chicago.
Our experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The quoting process was easy and straightforward, protocols and pricing were fully transparent (and timing estimates spot on!), and I really appreciated the amount and quality of communication from Jimmy Leidlein ahead of the move. Jimmy even coordinated an enforceable no parking permit with the city so there would be space for the moving truck on moving day, and we needed this because we had to call to get someone towed before the movers arrived.
On the day of the move, Jose Rosales and his team were amazing! They were super professional and polite, arrived on time, packed and moved everything with the utmost care, and everything arrived in perfect condition. We paid for extra insurance but honestly didn't need to! Jose and his crew were flexible and responsive to how we wanted everything done, and they were all incredibly strong and delicate at the same time. They even managed to move all our furniture into the new place super quietly while my daughter napped, which we really appreciated! When the job was finished, payment was easy and confirmed on the spot before the team left, so nothing was left to chance (even though we paid partially in cash).
We hope we don't have to move again for a long time, but if we do, we'll absolutely work with this company again! They were truly great and made the stressful experience of moving much, much easier.

The best! We moved here from OKC and had used a separate company to transfer storage cubes from our place in OKC to their storage location near Midway airport.
We met Juan and the rest of the Moovers team at this location to unlock the cubes for them, at which point they gave us the option to either watch them load their own truck or just go back to our place on the North Side and wait for them (we chose the latter).
They were very communicative with us about when we should expect them to show up, and once they did, they parked in an alley instead of the street, just as we requested, after which they were consummate professionals in moving all our stuff up to our third-floor apartment on a very hot day, including fragile items and heavy furniture.
When necessary, they showed impeccable care in wrapping up/protecting our stuff so that nothing would be damaged. Once they had unloaded everything into our place (while we mostly just sat in a closed room with our cats), our empty apartment finally felt like our new home.
I cannot recommend the Moovers team enough, no matter what kind of move you are doing. They go above and beyond while being very friendly and communicative. Thank you to all!

This is the second time I've used MOOvers Chicago for my moving services. Everything was just as good as the first time. Thank you to Alex, my move coordinator, was very helpful with answering any questions or concerns that I had and in gathering information to make sure we got the right size truck. On the day of the move the crew arrived on time and went right to work. Rudy and team were getting in "leg day" workouts since we were moving out of the 2nd floor, but I appreciate the teams hard work. My mom was impressed with having a female (Isabella?) on the move team. They finished on time and no damages! I would definitely recommend MOOvers Chicago for your moving services.

This is the second move I’ve use Moovers for and I’m SO glad I did! This was a particularly complicated move for me and they were so helpful each step of the way. I want to specifically call out Jimmy on Theo team — he answered so many of my questions and was so kind and helpful with his answers each time. Additionally, their whole team stepped in to help me when I needed to find my passport which I accidentally packed and put into storage — truly just being kind human beings. Their customer service is unmatched and I highly recommend them — I’ve already recommended them to more than 1 friend.
