I thought King movers were very good except for the guy that took my inventory, he really messed things up for me so about 20% of my stuff didn’t get moved because Charlie didn’t listen. But everything that did get on the truck made it here in excellent condition, the few things that the moving company packed (that we left for them to pack because we weren’t quite sure how to do it) they did a super job with - everything was moved with care. Angel was the good natured team leader and Joel and Julio were excellent, Julio always joking around and Joel keeping things positive and light with the high fives and teaching me a little Spanish. And Angel really took care of me, stressful day for the homeowner and he was super reassuring.
And the big answer? Oh yes, King Affordable Movers really and truly is affordable!! $2500 for a three bedroom house, and a lot of furniture! They were great!!

Moving my mom out of her longtime home in Lynn, MA to East Hampton, CT was an emotional and overwhelming process—but this moving company made it the easiest part of the entire experience.
From the moment the crew arrived right at 7:00 AM, they were incredibly efficient, focused, and professional. At the same time, they showed genuine empathy and understanding for what my mom was going through, which meant more than I can put into words.
They packed up an entire house in just two hours—and did so flawlessly. Not a single item was damaged. Every piece of furniture and every belonging was handled with care and respect.
After that, they drove 2½ hours to Connecticut, and the level of service didn’t drop for a second. They unpacked everything and placed each piece exactly where it belonged, making the new house feel like home almost immediately. Then they turned around and drove all the way back to Lynn the same day.
This was hands-down the best part of an otherwise difficult transition. They exceeded every expectation we had. Moving is stressful enough—especially during emotional life changes—and the last thing anyone needs is a bad moving experience. This team delivered the exact opposite.
