I believe I am very lucky because I found this moving company. They moved me so smoothly last month! They did a good job with the packing and moving. Moving the important documents was my only job for me! They took care of everything else! They even helped me move the furniture’s here and there at the new place. Everyone here is very smart and efficient. When they were helping me out with my long distance move, they faced a few problems. Such as the corners were too tight, some furniture would not get out from the door, and the china cabinets were hard to take down. But these guys fixed every problem in just 2 mins! They are super experienced and professional. I received a damage free move and I am pretty much sure you will too. Hire Moving Apt and you will not regret it. They are highly recommended!

Everything was great from start to finish. The moving team arrived at my place exactly at 8am sharp. They finished this side of the job in four hours. They unloaded everything with great care and also we did not find any damages anywhere. The men who came to help were qualified, efficient and experienced. They carried all the things to the top floor and they did not bump anything on to anything. It was a good experience. In my experience, Moving Apt is the best moving company I have ever hired. I very highly recommend them to all.

I wanted to thank their sales rep who gave me a fantastic deal. I talked with other moving companies, but only Moving Apt gave me the quote I was looking for. I would also like to thank their moving team. They very efficiently and professionally packed my one bedroom apartment. Not a single damage was found! I have never seen a moving company to be so efficient and qualified! It was a great moving experience. Moving APT owner collected a day early to load an oversized parcel, and he rang me first. Informed me of a problem along the way (not of his doing). This is not a moving company, this is a booking company. There are good things and bad things about using a booking company vs a traditional moving company. The price was by far the cheapest i could find to move a 1 bedroom apartment 400 miles. They also attempted to help me with some overcharges that my movers charged me. However, you have no control over who they actual hire for your move. My movers were just two random guys who had rented a moving truck from Budget Car Rentals. I don't even know if they have a company name. The movers that were hired were not very professional and were not able to give a good approximation for when they would arrive or drop off my stuff. Your stuff gets moved multiple times between trucks so boxes are torn to pieces and you should expect furniture to be damaged. Once you book with Moving APT, they are EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of. I had to call their customer service line MANY times and would be "second in the queue" but be on hold for 20 minutes until it just forwarded me to a voicemail. They never answered any of my voicemails or emails. Their online chat customer service can't do anything other than tell you the customer service phone number. Once you book, they give you a specific customer representative, which is nice but mine rarely responded to my calls and never responded to an email. Overall, their customer service is just abhorrent, which is an issue because that's basically their only role in the transaction. I would not recommend using this service under any circumstance. If you are on a budget, its cheaper to just rent a van and pay some guys to load it for you and then drive the van yourself. Also your stuff probably won't get damaged.

Moving is very stressful and if you value your sanity, don’t use MovingAPT. They will be so accommodating until you give them money. After that, you are at their mercy. I moved from NYC to Louisiana. A week after my property was picked up, they tried adding more money to to the estimate, about one third of the estimate more. After a confrontation, they agreed to honor the contract. They made numerous promises of when I would receive my property and the third time I actually did receive my delivery. They won’t answer your calls or emails and will leave you stranded and dependent on them. Complaining will only make them defend themselves and you will be the bad person in the situation. They delivered past the 21 days promised in the contract. The driver showed up with no help and I had to help unload the truck with the driver. No furniture was put into my house as promised. Beware this company.

I understand that moving APT is a broker for companies, but even then, Moving APT misrepresented the costs, caused multiple delays, did not honor the agreed upon time frame, and sent a carrier that damaged my furniture and apartment.
I was scheduled for pick up on 9/26-9/28. On 9/26 I was told that a carrier would pick up on 9/27 1pm-3pm. I was only told that they were not coming after the window was over, and I called to ask. They rescheduled for 10am-12pm the next day but did not arrive until 1pm. The driver did not speak English or Spanish and couldn't communicate with me or the rep from moving apt. The guy helping the driver load items was hired from Craigslist. They loaded about half my stuff until they were told to unload because of a disagreement between moving apt and the carrier over the charge. They left around 4:45pm. The movers from this carrier scratched the floor in multiple places by dragging items across the hardwood floor and with the dolly. I asked them to stop multiple times.
The next day I was told that a different carrier would come on 9/30 10am-1pm. That morning I was told they would come at 3pm. Later in the afternoon their dispatcher told me they would come at 4:30pm, but the movers did not arrive until around 6pm. This driver had also hired people to help load the truck from Craigslist They finished around 10:45pm.
The movers did not wrap the items before taking them into the truck. I asked them to do this to avoid damage to the walls or furniture, but they continued without doing it and said that the items would be wrapped once they were in the truck. The floor was scratched with the dolly in a few places.
The driver arrived at the new place without calling ahead of time and without anyone to help move the items. My friend and I had to help carry large items. A wall in the apartment was dented and scuffed in multiple places. The desk, bookshelf, two nightstands, arm chair and dresser were all scratched. I saw that the nightstands and bed frame were not wrapped in the truck and the dresser and bookshelf were only partially covered. The top of the bookshelf was broken off completely.
They charged $1300 extra because the total volume was 50% greater than moving apt's estimate, even though I had given an accurate inventory list. I can only assume that moving apt intentionally gives low estimates of total volume in order to give a lower quote and inflate the cost later.
I'm currently in the process of filing a claim for the damages and delays. They use a 3rd party company to process claims making it even more confusing.

I booked my cross-country move with MovingAPT and the sales guy was great "You are covered with us on insuring your things, we use the best movers"....And then QA and scheduling and pickup started. QA was rude and difficult, managers were unwilling to help.
They used Big Shoulders Moving and Storage to move my things which was the worst thing to ever happen. Not only did they take 15 hours to move a 4 bedroom house into a truck. But they took 16 days to get me my things across 1200 miles. My things were delivered with the industrial treadmill broken and unable to be fixed, L shaped executive desk destroyed, 2 book cases broken. When I filed to be made whole... I was offered $75 because they felt that was fair for almost $5000 of product.
Please find and use anyone but this company when you search for a reputable mover.

I hired Moving APT IN June 2021. I worked with a lady by the name of Rachel J. I had just received a job offer in San Diego and needed to move urgently. I didn’t realize later that I was hiring a company who constantly lies and doesn’t guarantee anything. They contracted with a 3rd part moving company. Moving APT guaranteed that I was in good hands and all my items were safe and secure. I paid $1000 deposit and waiting for the moving company to call me. They picked my items up first week in July. What they didn’t tell me was that my items were going into a truck with 3 other peoples good. I was apparently the first pick up. The crew that arrived did a shitty job of packing the large items. My mattress and bed frame arrived damaged with a piece of the wood on the bottom broken. The mattress was left exposed because they didn’t cover it properly. I finally received my items on august 19th. And the company moving APT hired was horrible. I had 3 large pieces of art in a frame that never arrived. The boxes were trampled and open. It was so heartbreaking to see all my hard earned money to purchase nice things for myself and my home were damaged and mistreated. Moving APT takes zero responsibility. I don’t even want to give them 1 star! They should be put out of business. Do yourself a favor; hire a direct mover. NOT A LOUSY MONEY HUNGRY BROKER COMPANY LIKE MOVING APT. And check out their reviews on better business bureau. Before they comment and say they have no record of my move - here’s my quote number:1240610.

I hired Moving APT to do a complicated move that involved packing up houses in two cities and delivering all our belongings to a third city. The first leg of the move, from DC to Miami was relatively fine. Although there was damage to some of my antiques, at least all my possessions did arrive in Miami, and it was only a few days delayed. The second half was a nightmare. Moving APT connected us to a horrible company called East Freight Logistics to move our things from California to Miami. These people arrived late with many pieces of our furniture broken and about one-third of our things were missing. We had to pay the company in full before they began unloading the truck, but they mentioned nothing about our missing furniture. About 10 days later, most of our remaining things arrived. The rest never came. Moving APT says they are not responsible for the behavior of the moving companies they connect their customers with. That is insane. What is the purpose of having a moving broker if they can't stand behind the quality of the movers they refer you to?

Moving APT has participated in a nation-wide fraud. They hire non-licensed, non-insured freight companies who either destroy, hide, or hold hostage belongings of customers, dumping them in various storage spaces around the country. They are currently being reviewed for license revocation by the FMCSA and under investigation by multiple police jurisdictions nation-wide.
My daughter paid Moving APT a sizable deposit, only to have her belongings dumped by their hired freight company in an unnamed storage space for 5 months. When we finally found her belongings months after her scheduled move-in date, 85% of them were destroyed. We had to hire a reputable mover to move the remaining load from a storage space in NJ to her new apt in NY.
The moving company they hired, East Freight Logistics, was a fraudulent shell company that had only been licensed for 3 months and already had 24 complaints filed against them. Needless to say, the cost of getting all new furniture, dishes, TVs and household goods more than made up for what she thought she was "saving" by going to Moving APT.
Moving APT was uncommunicative and denied having any responsibility. Needless to say, they didn't even offer to cover the cost of the new mover for whom they created the need.
Bottom line: If you're planning a move, hire a licensed insured mover directly. It will cost a bit more, but you won't have to deal with shameless unprofessional thieves like this.

They lie (in that they deliberately withhold relevant information), and manipulate. They have this game they play where no person you can talk to can ever answer the question, but they will leave a message for the person who can answer it to call you back. They never call you back. My belongings were taken 5 weeks ago, still no word on when it will be delivered, and they don't care. They literally say that they aren't the moving company, they just represent you to the moving company. But they don't represent you! They take a fee from you, and DO NOTHING.
Last I heard from them they said that the moving company said my stuff is on a truck and headed my way. Days later I hear from the actual moving company that it is sitting in the same warehouse it has been in for a month. They just lie to you, and say whatever they need to say to get you to go away.
DO. NOT. USE. It is literally pointless. Just find your own moving company. This place is a joke.

One of the worst companies I have EVER worked with!! Once you book with them and give them your deposit, it is almost impossible to get hold of them after that.
They hired out another moving company to do out move, which turned out to be a scam company. We paid moving apt to have the movers repack a number of boxes and for a number of packing materials. This money apparently never went to the movers and then the movers that they hired out charged us another $650 for that. The movers did a terrible job at repacking- everything was literally thrown in boxes and so took up extra space (which we were charged extra for).
When the movers brought us our items they gave us 20 minutes notice. ALL of our furniture was damaged as well as other bits. Worst of all was that about $6000 worth of our items had been lost/ stolen. This happened 2 months ago. It is almost impossible to get hold of Moving APT and they are taking no responsibility for hiring a scam moving company. The moving company they hired out was Coast to Coast Moving in NJ, who I have rung 30-40 times over the last two months and the only time they answered the phone was when I used someone else's phone to make the call. I rang the police on this company and the police said they were a scam company and that Moving APT should take responsibly- which they will not. The move cost over $10,000, then a lot of extra fees that they kept adding on, and then they lost $6000 worth of items. Do not use this company!
