Doctor Consultation

In order to tackle hair loss appropriately, it must be looked at as a medical issue. To begin the Keeps process, you will first be connected to a licensed physician who will review the information you provide and prescribe a treatment plan to you. The first time you meet with a physician, you will not be charged. For every consultation after your first appointment, you will be charged $5.

Keeps Products

Though some men may be skeptical of using some type of oral or topical product to slow hair thinning, therefore preventing baldness, Keeps reviews have shown that men of all hair types who have diligently used these products have found success. The following products are currently available for purchase online:

• Finasteride, 1 MG (RX) — Finasteride is a prescribed medication that is to be taken daily. This medication works as a DHT blocker, helping stop the production of DHT and therefore slowing and/or preventing male pattern baldness. It should be applied directly to the scalp with your hands twice daily. Some hair shedding may occur as old hairs are being released and making room for new hairs to grow. It can take as little as three to four months to stimulate hair growth so you can see your results. The Minoxidil Foam is available online for $15 per month. This product is FDA approved for treating hair loss. (Minoxidil is also referred to as "generic rogaine")
• 2% Ketoconazole Shampoo — This prescription shampoo is known for treating dandruff, itchiness, and flaking on the scalp. Best results occur when allowing the shampoo to sit on the scalp for five minutes before rinsing. Results have been seen in as little as two to three weeks. This hair care shampoo is not linked with slowing hair loss or hair regrowth, it is offered to help keep your hair and scalp healthy as you work towards hair regrowth. It can be purchased on the keeps website (if prescribed) for $10 per month. This product is FDA approved for treating dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.

While some of Keeps' competitors look to hair transplants and DHT-blocking shampoos and vitamins, Keeps focuses on maintaining and strengthening the hair that you already have today. The better you can care for the hair follicles that are growing healthy hair and nurse other follicles back to health, the healthier your hair and scalp will be.

Generally, Keeps reviews have proven to be positive. Customers struggling with receding hairlines, male pattern baldness, dandruff, and itchy scalps have found that Keeps products have worked well. Cancelling Keeps

Though the majority of customer reviews have been positive, some of the negative reviews have mentioned challenges with cancelling a medication subscription. When customers have emailed customer support to have their subscriptions canceled, they have been told that cancellations cannot take place over email or that more information is needed. Some customers have complained of being charged for a couple of months following their attempted cancellation and have needed to seek further action with the customer service team.

Refunds

Unfortunately, refunds have been mentioned as one of the issues with Keeps products. Since the products offered by Keeps are pharmaceuticals, returns are not accepted and refunds are not provided.

Delayed Shipping

Keeps customer reviews have voiced frustration with delayed shipping. Typically, these reviews mentioned that medication orders were delayed due to Keeps not having enough stock of its products. With products on backorder, some customers were unable to take medications consistently, therefore delaying results. A shortage of Minoxidil reportedly ended in June of 2019. Though Keeps has replenished its stocks, there is no guarantee that it won't happen again. 

Only Hair Products

Many of Keeps competitors in the men's health and wellness industry also offer a number of sexual and daily health products. Though Keeps can compete with these competitors with its hair loss products, it does not offer other daily health solutions. 

Keeps competitors offer medications to help men with:

Keeps currently has no plans of extending its brand to include other Men's Health products and plans to remain wholly dedicated to hair loss prevention and hair retention. If you are looking for a provider that will offer you solutions for hair health, skin health, daily health, and sexual health, you will need to look elsewhere.
