HelloFresh is a new way to eat delicious, organic, homemade without all the prep work. Unlike other meal plan services that send you pre-made/pre-cooked food each week, HelloFresh sends you ingredients. Every week, you go to HelloFresh's website and select three meals (from five presented) that you want to prepare and eat.

HelloFresh delivers everywhere in the United States, Wednesday–Friday and Monday–Tuesday in select areas. The company drops off one box each week with all the ingredients you need to make three meals for two to four people. Food comes in an ice box and also includes step-by-step cooking instructions. HelloFresh is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

HelloFresh is excellent for those with a busy lifestyle, as it offers flexible meal plans that are nutritious, easy to cook, and affordable. 

Many people agree that planning, preparing, and cooking meals can be frustrating and overwhelming (especially for those who are short on time). That's where HelloFresh comes in. The meal delivery service ships pre-measured ingredients directly to your door — eliminating trips to the store, prep time, and food waste. 

There are a variety of recipes that accommodate every appetite, household size, and schedule. Plus, you can choose from three recipe levels, which vary depending on your confidence in the kitchen. Level 1 recipes are straightforward and only require one or two pots/pans and are great for non-experienced cooks. Level 2 recipes are a bit harder and require some multitasking but still have a level of simplicity to them. Level 3 recipes require the most concentration and multitasking skills and are best for those who are confident in their cooking abilities and know their way around the kitchen.

We love that HelloFresh encourages people to learn how to cook. While many other meal delivery companies simply send premade meals, HelloFresh sends you high-quality ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes. Whether you follow the recipes exactly or add your own spin, it is entirely up to you. 

Chef-Curated Meals

HelloFresh has over 20 unique and delicious recipe options per week. If you’re having trouble picking from the extensive list, HelloFresh includes a categorizing banner to some of its meals. As you browse through the recipes, you might notice a banner that says “Hall of Fame” this indicates that this recipe is one of the most popular amongst customers. You might also come across a “Calorie Smart” banner, which means the recipe is around 650 calories per serving. HelloFresh has several other banners, including the following:
Chef’s Choice — Most popular recipes ever; offered multiple weeks in a row
Gourmet  — Top-of-the-line recipes with higher quality ingredients 
Gourmet Plus  — Top-of-the-line recipes with the highest quality ingredients

Flexible Subscription Options

With HelloFresh, you can skip or cancel your weekly delivery at any time. However, the company warns that you'll need to do this before 11:59 p.m. (PST) five days before your delivery. 

Mobile App

HelloFresh's mobile app allows you to easily manage your account, update your meal selections, and track deliveries. The app comes with an interactive cooking mode, a built-in timer, and one of the largest curated recipe databases. Plus, if you're counting calories, HelloFresh's app will display your meals nutritional information.

Meal Restrictions

Although HelloFresh offers a variety of meal options, customers will need to be careful if they have any specific dietary restrictions. 

The Classic Meal plan can be customized to be beef-free, pork-free, seafood-free, Veggie, Family-Friendly, Calorie Smart, quick, or variety.

However, HelloFresh doesn't allow customers to tailor their meal plans for specific allergies. That being said, the company's dieticians review all meals for the eight major allergens: wheat, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish. Once the ingredients have been identified, HelloFresh clearly discloses this information in the recipe.

It is also important to know that HelloFresh does not offer Keto, Paleo, gluten, dairy, or nut-free meals.  

HelloFresh leaves it to its customers to review the ingredients and determine which recipes best meet their dietary needs.

Not the Quickest Option

Although HelloFresh makes cooking dinner a lot simpler, it does require some time and effort. The meal delivery service drops off ingredients to your house, not premade meals. So if you're in a real crunch for time, takeout will be faster.

HelloFresh is a great option for those who want to learn to cook or simplify the cooking process. There are several meal plans to choose from and you can select a cooking level that you're comfortable with. The delivery service is competitively priced and may even cost less than buying groceries. Plus, the company occasionally will offer free shipping or other enticing coupons to help you save. 

While HelloFresh has a variety of meals, the company doesn't alter the recipes for specific allergies, so you'll need to be vigilant about checking the ingredients if you have any dietary restrictions. Also, keep in mind that there are no Keto, Paleo, gluten, dairy, or nut-free recipes.

Overall very disappointed with HelloFresh. A friend sent us a free box for a week and it was actually really good. Enjoyed all the meals we received so decided to keep it going. We did the 3 meals a week for 2. The first box we received that we paid for was pretty disappointing. The produce we received for the meals was not fresh/ripe. One of the meals we selected was a Parmesan crusted chicken and we had no chicken in the box. Instead left with pork and also no panko which was an ingredient for that same meal. We wrote in an email to HelloFresh but never heard back. Decided to try another week and see if it was just a mix up. I get it, it happens but still not thrilled with to response to our complaint. Next box was supposed to come on a Monday between 8am-8pm. At 8pm we called the customer care line as our box had still not arrived. They didn’t have any info other than the UPS tracking I also had and didn’t know what to say. After checking once more at 9pm still no box. Woke up the next morning and it was on the doorstep. Food was no longer cold and had to throw away. I understand this was a UPS issue but they need to find a more reliable delivery service if this is the case. Called to cancel my subscription and they never even asked why..... very disappointed all around with the food, delivery, and customer service of HelloFresh. Will not use again or recommend to anyone.

Every week has been another negative experience resulting in further distaste for meal delivery service. My first week I experienced order inaccuracies in which 2 of my 3 meals were not what I ordered. My second week resulted in a food safety issue in which a package of meat appeared to be sliced open and the juices had contaminated the entire contents of my box. After numerous issues with customer service, who seems quick to just let me go as a customer, Joe O made an attempt at retaining my business. Week 3 I experienced more issues, credits that I was offered were not showing on my account, the agent I was discussing the matter with was argumentative rather than effective at resolving my issue, resulting in me having to reach out to Joe to get matters resolved. Finally thinking we had things figured out and everything resolved I was going to give HelloFresh until week 5 while using up my credits to see if things could turn around....Unfortunately come the cutoff for my week 4 delivery, I get a notice that my payment failed; This week was supposed to be taken out of my credit, as I was to be taken off the promo offer and the remainder applied as a credit to my account. The credits were to apply to week 4 and week 5 as well as having 1 more week of the premium upgrade courtesy of Joe. Rather than using my credits as I was informed, I received notice while I was at work that my payment had failed....Because I was not able to resolve this until after work (past the cutoff time) I have been informed that I would not be receiving my box. After having an issue related to my order 4 weeks in a row I have decided to discontinue use of HelloFresh and share my experience with friends, family, and social networks. The experience I have had has left an awful taste in my mouth and your customer service team is quick to hand out a refund and lose customers rather than addressing the problem and creating a positive experience. This was my first, and as a result likely my last meal delivery experience.

I ordered a gift card for my mom that she could redeem on her own for a few free meals. We ended up doing it together, and the website was very difficult to navigate and understand. I ended up calling customer service 4 separate times. Then, it asked for a credit card number, so we had to put in my mom’s card just to make an account to redeem the gift. I called customer service again to make sure this card would not be charged– they said their “system was down” and that they would call me back. Never happened. Had to call back the next day. Turns out, a subscription would automatically start and charge her after her gift box! Absolute worst gift ever! It’s inconceivable that someone would need their credit card to redeem a gift and then be charged afterwards without them being told as such and without their consent. I don’t even know how starting a subscription would be possible considering she wouldn’t have known to select any meals or delivery dates. Thank god I called to find that out. What a sneaky business tactic. This gift ended up being a terrible and time consuming idea. Will never, ever deal with this company again.

Alyssa and Sean were extremely condescending when I requested a refund. Alyssa gave me a hard time because I have had other accounts with HelloFresh in the past that ended terrible because a manager mistreated me and I left a review on every outlet I could find. They reached out and gave me a few free boxes because HelloFresh understood they were terribly in the wrong (long story short, they made my 74 year old father in law cry by making him feel like a poor Latino trying to "work the system" and get food WHEN HELLOFRESH GIVES FREE BOXES TO NEW CUSTOMERS TO TRY THEM OUT! but because he spoke Spanish this lady laughed LITERALLY LAUGHED at him saying "people like you try to steal". I canceled my new account because I do find HomeChef to be a lot better ESPECIALLY in customer service. This morning I see I was charged over $78 from HelloFresh and when requesting my money back Alyssa acts as if I was in the wrong, I could feel her smirk through the phone! I get on chat to see if someone else could help and then Sean says its up to my bank now for my refund. I missed a phone bill payment due to HelloFresh dropping the ball yet again, confirming I was right to switch to HomeChef and also stupid for giving them another chance. FYI ALYSSA, a HelloFresh manager told me to use a different email, create a new account, so that the discount codes I was given after being mistreated the first time could go through! AGAIN, SAME ISSUE I HAD THE FIRST TIME, YOU TREAT ME AS THOUGH I AM TRYING TO STEAL WHEN YOU ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE GIVEN ME THE CODES AND TOLD ME HOW TO USE THEM AS AN APOLOGY!!! YOU GUYS JUST DON'T LEARN. IS IT MY LAST NAME? IS IT BECAUSE I AM HISPANIC THAT YOU ASSUME I NEED TO BE BEGGING FOR FOOD? HOMECHEF IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN HELLOFRESH AND I RATHER USE THEM THAN YOU, AND I PAY FULL PRICE! AT LEAST WITH HOMECHEF I GET TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING AND NOT A BEGGER TRYING TO GET THEIR OWN MONEY BACK!!

Look my first experience with HelloFresh is horrible: don't follow my delivery instruction, bad customer service, never try to order again. I left instruction on the box and on my door to call me when arrived which was not followed so I miss my delivery. I tried to speak with Hellofresh about redelivery but it will not refund my discount which means I now have to pay a lot extra for the box I missed because of Hellofresh. Get so fed up about this so call "crediting your box" when it does not allow me to reorder with what I paid for. Asked for refund now it got to go through accounting team. Just wait until the accounting team processes refund. Hope I don't have to file credit charge back. Never again, Hellofresh.

I was a first time buyer of their wine subscription. Hello Fresh asks you to pick a delivery date on the same page as they get your address and payment information and yet they do NOT go by that date. An adult must be present to sign (since it is alcohol) but instead of going by the date I chose, they attempted to deliver it in the middle of the work day a whole week before my chosen date! They also never contacted me when the delivery (obviously) didn't go through since I wasn't home, I had to check myself only to find that my wine box was 'returned to sender'. Why ask for a delivery date if you aren't going to use it?! Worst of all, when I reached out to Hello Fresh I got terrible customer service and a representative that denied that you could chose your own delivery date (I double checked- it's still an option on the check-out page). I immediately cancelled my subscription since they couldn't even get my first box to me and will never recommend them again. There are plenty of other options for this type of service- I'd recommend going to Blue Apron or any other business.

The problem I have isn't with their quality, or even their service when you're a regular paying customer. The problem I have is how they deal with their policies. I was a regular customer up until recently, and recieved a code to send out to three of my friends that they could use to get their first box for free. One of the codes was sent to my roommate, which he redeemed and recieved confirmation for quickly. Now, they have a policy in their fine print that basically states that you can't send those sorts of codes to people you share an address with, which is completely reasonable. I understand why that policy would be in place, and take responsibility for not reading the fine print. The problem is that because of this mistake, they deactivated my roommate's account instead of simply cancelling the order, and they did so WITHOUT notifying him of any problems. Delivery day came and went, and nothing. So he tried to sign into his account to see what the problem was and was told that he was typing in the wrong password. It wasn't until he went through his emails and clicked "sign in" through the original confirmation email, that he was met with a message saying his account had been deactivated. Not only that, but it specifically stated that HE had deactivated his own account. Reactivating it was easy, but he called customer support to ask what was going on. They stated that it was deactivated because of the address issue, and that he should have read the policy. They were not kind with their tone. Dissapointed and disgusted by the total lack of customer service. We should have read the fine print, but he also should have been notified of the problem. Instead he spent an entire day waiting for a package that simply wasn't going to arrive. They've lost two customers to this debacle.

I was extremely disappointed. It says it accounts for 2 servings, but the portions sizes were extremely small. In addition to the small portion sizes, the ingredients were not fresh at all. Some of my ingredients had mold on it, so I contacted Hello Fresh and all I got was credit into my account. I asked for a refund because I cancelled my subscription and credit wouldn't apply to me, but Hello Fresh said that was not allowed. My order was also delayed, so I got my delivery late. Overall, I was really looking forward to it, but was extremely disappointed. Hello Fresh was not as great as it is advertised online (e.g., Youtube).

I was gifted a free trial meal delivery. I then recieved an additional shipment without asking or realizing I had been automatically signed up for a subscription. I assumed they were not a sneaky corporation which was my mistake. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and accepting I was ill advised for trusting a business blindly, I asked for a full refund for the next unsolicited and unconsentually paid for delivery. Customer service refused to halt the upcoming order and originally refused to even refund me for the order I had not even received! After contacting management, they would only issue a partial refund for 1 of the 2 undesired and unconsentually paid for meal kits. The meals were sub par as well and not worth the price or the hassle of dealing with customer service. Our friends, family, companies, and clients have transferred our business to Blue Apron and Home Chef instead. I am appalled that Hellofresh would take advantage of its consumers like this.

Food is very high in carbs. Bread/pasta in almost every meal I saw. Also, when I first signed up with hellofresh, they offered an $80 off for first 4 meals, so $20 off per meal. When charged, I was charged the full amount. They claimed I did not have this offer on my account, even though my account was showing the discount. Then Hello Fresh charged me more than 4 weeks in advance for the first meal I chose. Also, when I selected meals with least carbs, they sent me all the wrong meals that ended up being high in carbs...burger, quesadillas, and potatoes. We probably emailed back and forth 40 times and still I encountered nothing but confusion. I thing they may be a language barrier going on there. I am greatly disappointed with this company. About a year ago, I used a different company. I cancelled account because I felt like I was cooking too much and life got kind of busy for a while. I have never had such issues with meal delivery company before and I have used Blue Apron before and had no issues. I will be going back to Blue Apron.

They don’t deserve a star. I used the free meals from a friend. Was not impressed with the meal since I didn’t even get to select them in the first place. I deactivated my account. Waited a few weeks to see what was new. Well here is a warning!!! Reactivating your account automatically sets you up for more orders WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORIZATION!!! I now had $70 deducted from my account, received ONE email regarding this and the help I got was “well you should have let us know sooner”! How am I supposed to let you know if you sent me ONE email and it was letting me know my order is on it’s way! I will never refer anyone to this. Sorry but this is crap in my opinion.

My wife and I received a Hello Fresh gift card for Christmas. I tried to checkout the website from my phone and thought that maybe the mobile site might not be as easy to navigate as the regular internet site, but nope. The internet site was the same nonsense. The first clue should have been that you have to pick a plan and provide them payment info before you can even see if you're interested in their products (menu). Reluctantly I continued only to find out that it was nearly impossible to find out where to apply my gift card. BTW they will already pre-select a menu for you. I unchecked the pre-selected meals and selected three that we might like. By sheer frustration I just cancelled our new account. That's when my wife came in and said "hey they charged our account for 6 meals" this is after I cancelled our account and after I de-selected the 1st 3dinners that Hello Fresh suggested. I am in an acquisition career position and not an idiot when it comes to on-line shopping and scams. I can also recognizing when a company has a business model that guarantees that they will make a first sale every time. Hello Fresh will probably never have to answer for bad business practices in the US because Hello Fresh is foreign owned (Germany). I hope this review helps people.... and the meals they charged me for actually show up. As for the gift card.. I looked it up on-line and there are many people who've had the same issue.

I bought 2 classic meal plans for two people as gifts for Hannukah. Neither got their email gift card. After a follow up call 2 days after they should have received it, the codes were resent but they came to me instead of the recipients. I then forwarded on the gift codes with the instructions of how to use the gift cards. Now 3 weeks later, I called to see how they liked it, I was told the codes showed up as inactive. Will call on Monday and try to get this worked out. Will never do again. If not for my follow up calls twice to ask if they got my gift, I would have never known that this gift never came!!

I've had the most frustrating experience with Hello Fresh this year. At the beginning, everything was fine. I signed up for 3 meals/week earlier this year. After going over my budget I realized it wasn't a good fit for my family. Fast forward 8 months. I logged onto the Hello Fresh website to see what kind of Black Friday specials they may be running. Well, apparently signing onto the website "reactivated" my account (which was attached to a previous address and a cc that I no longer use.) I had decided once again that the plan was not a good fit for my budget. I closed out of the website and moved on with my Thanksgiving prep. A few days later I receive an email saying I needed to pick out my meals (Black Friday weekend). I searched the website but couldn't find a customer service phone # to call cancel the order A couple of days later I receive another email that my box is on it's way!! Customer service tells me there's nothing they can do. "It's out of their hands". They tell me my account is canceled and I have a credit that never expires. Today (approx 1 week later) I receive another email saying my new box is on it's way!! Once again, nothing they can do. Both boxes contain a pork meal which I don't eat. To top it all off the first box went to my ex-husband's house. So I have now paid for 1 box which I will never see and the other one has a pork meal I cannot eat. Worst experience ever!! Update: Hello Fresh never cancelled my account and ANOTHER box (with pork) was delivered!

First using HelloFresh I liked it. It was nice to have set meals for the family, skip forward three weeks and we started having issues almost every week. One time our box was delivered a day late, everything completely rotten inside. Then boxes kept coming with missing ingredients so we couldn’t make meals. And the last time we got a boz from them our box was thrown over our fence, completely damaged and left outside the entire day. We didn’t know until we walked all the way out to the front that the box had been out in the heat all day and everything inside was ruined because all the ice bags melted from the heat. When I tried to reach out to HelloFresh the last time I never got a response and told them I would never use their company again or tell anyone else to either. HelloFresh is a horrible company.

I ordered a classic meal plan last week, which allows you to select two meals. The package was supposed to be delivered yesterday, however my package didn't arrive on time, and also I called UPS to see what happened, apparently the package would be delayed in delivery, by another day. However I didn't find out until this morning that my package was damaged in transit and all the items had to be discarded, of course I wouldn't have known this happened until I checked the tracking number. I'm completely upset that this happened, I would never recommend this company to anyone! Bad customer service from hellofresh.

Pros: food Is delicious. Reasonable price for service. Cons: delivery service is terrible! Says delivered at front door. Not there. 3 hrs later find it on the side of our garage! Second box: says delivered to front door. Not there (not at garage either!) customer service says they will credit my acct, no thanks I’m done, credit back my credit card. “We have to wait 48 hrs from the time it left here, it might still be delivered. It’s packed to stay fresh that long. Shows up The next night! But some of the fresh veg are frozen and thawed again. (All mushy) I’ve heard other services have much better delivery services!

Deceiving service, Unreliable company I received a free trial coupon and I tried the service once within company's offer. The thing is ordering a box is very smooth process but then cancelling it is almost like impossible. After the order I tried to log in and I could not. I tried at least for 1 hour to log in and their system is not working properly, even the emails they have sent to reset the password. After spending many hours, then finally I was able to log in and then it was another one hour navigating to cancel the sub. This is already a very frustrating experience. I even canceled my paypal payment schedule just to make sure that there wont be any further charges since the value you get for a 50 Euro box is very very low. They sent the box even though they haven't withdraw the amount WITHOUT ANY NOTICE! I did not take the box and I sent it back. Then a customer service employee was in touch with me and she did not mention about any further charges and she told me that it was all good and she cancelled the sub. After some time company started to send me invoices.??? This is not a reliable company, I would not suggest trying their offers. Their business model is built on deceiving people and then chasing them to pay something which they did not order or use!!

I signed up for H. F. and once I saw the selections (way too many calories) I cancelled the subscription on the same day. I called Customer Service, asked them to cancel and I received a refund for my purchase. Next month they charged my account and when I called they said it was too late and the order was on it’s way. They did give me a 50% refund, but I had cancelled the service and should not have been charged anything.

I joined hello fresh tonight it took my money off me would not let me pick a menu and the one it decided to so me I wouldn't be able to eat so I tried to change it it then wanted to charge me and over £5 to change it tried to get in contact with customer service with no luck after trying 4 times in the end I cancelled my account I've asked for the refund but still haven't heard anything back from anyone never been so disappointed what a waste of money

I have been receiving Hello Fresh for over 3 years and loved it initally. In the past 3 months, and might I add I order weekly 3 meals I have only had one week that had all the correct ingredients as well as recipes. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Chef, or Sun Basket. So sad to see a good company go down hill so fast. Good Bye Hello Fresh you will not be missed. Also I didn't even want to give it one star LOL

My sis gave me a gift card that was impossible to redeem. They sent me directions which I followed and in the end they only deducted $53.85 but not the $60 which was the amount of the gift card and they wanted me to pay. I tried redeeming this gift card at least 8 times and all it did was totally frustrate me. Be prepared when you order online. I never was able to redeem the gift card.

Ordered my first "free bpx" got charged anyway, they would not refund my card, said they would refund my subscription for later orders. First box came full of ground beef blood, package was open and all of the items submerged in blood. Called them and they do not send out replacements. Threw entire box away. They said again they could give me a small credit on account toward next delivery. Never happened!

Decided to try out HelloFresh, Delivery was slated to arrive on Sunday 31Mar19, Did not arrive, contacted HelloFresh and they told me it should arrive on 01Apr19, fine. Get home from work on 01Apr and no delivery contact HelloFresh, and they want to offer me a credit, and argue with me about a refund, when I tell them I have no intention of using a service that couldn't even deliver the first order.

Fraudulent web site. You are required to enter financial information in order to view any of their meal offerings. I started to enter my credit card information, but then realized I would not have time to unsubscribe from the auto-delivery. I left the web page and never confirmed a subscription. They signed me up anyway. No email was ever sent notifying me that I was now signed up for their service. I realized only after my bank account was charged that I had been enrolled. When I called their customer service they refused to refund the order that was already in transit.

Great food and enjoyed it, all until I moved. The app shipped to wrong new address (even if I had proof of address change). Card was charged and paid. Several calls to customer service and was hung up on or never answered. Finally got ahold of someone and they informed me there was nothing they can do and don’t refund money. I canceled my subscription right away. The food is great, until you have to do something outside the norm.

I enjoyed Hellofresh until I had to deal with their customer service. They conveniently had “technical issues” when it came to skipping weeks, but no issues charging me. I was so fed up with having to straighten it out and waste food that I canceled altogether. They charged me AGAIN. Now I’m still trying to get them to remove the charge. I will be switching to another meal service that doesn’t make me feel like they’re scamming me.

Hello fresh is a bunch of thieves... Refused to return money for a transaction that was unauthorized, even when it was found an hour after it posted then claimed they couldnt find it.... They did this twice in 2 days.... I got the first refunded... then the next day they charged me again... They stole my kids christmas money..... And im rightfully pissed.... They have been heehawing all week about if the charge existed even when the fraking food showed up to my door.... Then since the obviously wouldnt take it back, we made one of the recipes and i got freaking food poisoning!!!!

Dont understand how reviews describe Hello Fresh meals as healthy. Pasta, cheese, pork, and beef were on many meals offered. My wife thought it would be a great idea. I tried two meals. Coconut rice and baby green beans were horrible. NO thank you. Canceled the first week.

I tried Hello Fresh in October 2018 but cancelled because it didn’t really workout for me. But April 26, 2019 Hello Fresh took an unauthorized payment from my PayPal account. I can’t believe they would stoop to fraudulent practices!

Food is great! Even refunded boxes that were shipped late. But somehow when they charged my account for a new delivery that money disappeared and they claimed my bank disputed the transaction. I called my bank and they have not disputed anything and no money was put back on my account. So I guess it’s just gone.

On many occasions sent the wrong ingredients and would only credit account. One account was on the last box to be sent since we had deactivated our account due to many mistakes, they proceeded to only credit the account in case we wanted to reactivate and wouldn’t refund the money for the meal we were unable to make.

The food is good but God forbid you try to cancel! Their customer s rice is awful. No phone #, of course..just a "chat" back & forth which takes forever. We got 2deliveries after cancelling, & they refused when we wanted reimbursed! DO NOT use them!

One time order. All was good. Not able to cancel subscription. Used their “chat” to cancel. Now, order on its way. Forced to call Europe in order to speak to someone. Then transferred to USA. Currently on hold for 34 minutes. Apparently Hello Fresh does not care about their customers.

First of three weeks of orders. Fresh vegetables were soggy and limp, old. 2nd week the ingredients for the meals was wrong. Can't make pork chops with ground pork. Week 3: it's now Thursday night and our prepaid orders still isn't here. Had to go to the grocery story to get dinner at the last minute. Cancelled our subscription.

I was given a free hello fresh box. 4 days after I received my first box I realized that I had been charged $60. I was told that I had another box coming and I could not cancel that box. I was infuriated. Nobody would refund me my money for something I didn't want.

If i could give zero stars i would. My box was delivered to the wrong town 45 minutes away. I had to hunt them down to reissue a box, and they treated me like they couldn't have been bothered to deal with me.

worst food experience my family and I have ever had. Food was consistently sent rotten or moldy and the meals when cooked with what was usable was never really a fun experience. Though so much food was sent bad we were never give a refund when we contacted the company.
