Committed to improving how we sleep, Nolah created the AirFoam™ mattress.

While most mattress companies are still using outdated materials such as Memory Foam and Latex, Nolah went to work to make a mattress that is 100 perfect temperature neutral. The mattress doesn’t contain any viscoelastic chemicals, and it sleeps cooler than any memory foam mattress (with or without cooling gel).

Nolah’s products are sold exclusively on its website, and the company boasts that consumers can expect to pay one-third of the retail price for a luxury mattress.

Nolah currently offers three mattress models: Nolah Original 10, Nolah Signature 12, and the Nolah Evolution 15.

All models are available in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King, with prices ranging between $499 and $1,599.

The Good

  • Sold Exclusively Online
  • Free Shipping and Returns
  • 120-Night Sleep Trial
  • 15-Year Warranty
  • Finance with Affirm
  • Sleeps Cooler
  • Safety and Certifications

Sold Exclusively Online

There aren’t any physical Nolah retail stores. Nor can you purchase a Nolah mattress at a third-party retailer. Instead, these luxury mattresses are only sold online from Nolah’s website.

While this may frustrate some consumers, it is how Nolah keeps its prices lower than its competitors.

Unlike other brick and mortar stores, Nolah prides itself on not spending money on costly distribution centers, expensive retail locations, or salespeople with commissions. By removing the middlemen of the mattress industry, Nolah can sell directly to consumers and offer more affordable prices.

Free Shipping and Returns

Nolah offers free shipping and returns to and from all 48 contiguous states.

All orders are shipped with FedEx Ground and can be tracked.

We appreciate Nolah offering free shipping and returns to consumers. Unfortunately, shipping a mattress can get quite expensive and shoppers often hesitate when seeing the final price after shipping. Since Nolah offers free shipping (and returns) this makes it a more affordable option for consumers.

120-Night Sleep Trial

Shoppers have 120 nights to decide on their Nolah mattress.

The company does ask that consumers try out their new mattress for a minimum of 30 nights, allowing your body to adjust. Then, if you are still not happy with the mattress, call or email Nolah, and someone will arrange to have the mattress picked up (for free) and refund your money.

15-Year Warranty

All of Nolah’s mattress models are covered by a lifetime limited warranty.

According to the Limited Warranty Information, for the first 15 years of ownership (must be the original purchaser), if the mattress is found defective, Nolah is responsible for the repair or replacement and shipping costs.

Finance with Affirm

Purchasing a luxury mattress online can often mean paying a large sum upfront (even with Nolah’s prices being significantly less than other luxury mattress companies).

To help consumers, Nolah has partnered with the financing company Affirm. With Affirm, you can spread your payments over 3, 6 ,12,18 or 24 months (depending on the amount to finance).

Sleeps Cooler

Nolah is a great option for consumers who tend to get hot while they sleep.

According to Nolah, its revolutionary new AirFoam® does not contain heat-sensitive viscoelastic chemicals. The heat-sensitive chemicals give memory foam its ‘memory’ capabilities, but unfortunately are what holds in and stores your body heat.

Nolah’s AirFoam® is made from CertiPUR-US® certified foam. The foam is 100 percent free from harmful chemicals and makes the mattress 100 percent temperature-neutral.

Safety and Certifications

Nolah’s mattresses have undergone extensive fire testing to ensure they meet U.S Federal Government safety regulations. As a result, Nolah fully complies with federal regulations 16 CFR 1633 and 1632.

Nolah is wrapped in a proprietary woven silica sock that prevents flames and fire from igniting the mattress.

Nolah has the CertiPUR-US® foam safety certification, meaning that it’s a safe consumer product and has been subjected to rigorous testing before final approval.

If you submit an order but then change your mind, you can cancel an order (free of charge) within the first four hours of purchase.

However, all cancellations after four hours will incur a cancellation fee.

Pillows that are processed for shipment and canceled more than four hours after purchase will incur a fee of $25.

The Bottom Line

There’s a lot to like about Nolah and its AirFoam mattresses. The company is dedicated to creating a mattress infused with the latest technology but still comfortable and affordable.

Nolah’s mattresses are probably best suited for consumers who tend to sleep on their sides or sleep hot. All three of the models are made with AirFoam. This high-resilience polyurethane sleep foam contains none of the heat-trapping viscoelastic chemicals found in traditional memory foam mattresses.

Although Nolah’s 120-Night Trial isn’t the longest trial we’ve seen a mattress company give, it should give you enough time to decide if you like your mattress or not. Plus, if you aren’t happy, the company takes care of all the heavy lifting.

While we recommend taking your time and choosing a mattress that’s right for you, we believe that you can’t go wrong with a Nolah mattress.
