The Hybrid

The Hybrid mattress sold by Tomorrow Sleep comes in a variety of sizes, including Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King. Not only are there a variety of sizes to choose from, but this mattress also comes in two different levels of firmness — medium soft and medium firm. The mattress is constructed of five layers of specialized foam as follows:

  • Layer 1 — Cooling Open-Cell Memory Foam created by NASA that helps regulate your body temperature throughout the night
  • Layer 2 — Pressure Relieving Gel Swirl Memory Foam to provide relief for your body as you rest
  • Layer 3 — Supportive Dynamic Response Memory Foam that provides an extra layer of support during your sleep
  • Layer 4 —Individual Support Pocketed Coil System has the ability to flex individually providing a new and improved support system and motion-isolation in place of inner springs
  • Layer 5 — Durable High Density Base Foam holds form for years to provide consistent full-body support

Hypoallergenic

One perk to Tomorrow Sleep products is that they are made with hypoallergenic CertiPUR-US®. No need to worry about your mattress giving you a runny nose or worse, an allergic reaction. The foams are also made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, and/or other heavy metals regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Tomorrow Sleep has worked to ensure that the foams used have environmental certifications deeming them safe and non-toxic.

Multi-Base Compatibility

Tomorrow Sleep mattresses are said to be compatible with the following bases:

  • Solid platform or floor — If you do not want to use a box spring, the mattress can be placed on a platform or the floor and provide a wonderful night's sleep.
  • Box Spring — Those who do prefer a boxspring will benefit from a little bit more give in the mattress.
  • Platform Bed — Tomorrow Sleep sports a very simple design for their platform bed. It incorporates weight-absorbing poplar wood slats and a sleek metal frame for easy set-up and long-term use.
  • Adjustable Bed —The Tomorrow Adjustable Bed is easy to assemble and provides a number of unique features. Positions include Zero Gravity, TV, Anti Snore, and Rest. The adjustable bed also comes with a built-in USB port for convenience.

Sleep Tracker

This sleep tracking technology is placed inside your mattress to measure sleep for one or two individuals. Metrics recorded are heart rate and breath rate. The Sleeptracker Monitor also acts as a personal coach tracking how much time you spend in your REM cycle and helping you know when you should get up in order to feel the most rested. Users have access to daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and sleeping trends to better understand and improve sleeping habits. This tracker does not need to be worn but simply remains under the mattress on any base with no need to be recharged.

The Bad

  • Availability
  • Website Bugs

Availability

After researching and selecting a Tomorrow Sleep Mattress, you may find yourself disappointed due to the number of models that are out of stock. In addition, the Memory Foam mattress does not come in the Twin XL and Full sizes.

Website Bugs

During our research, when attempting to select a size on the Memory Foam Mattress page, the sizes do not appear. If a product is out of stock, you are unable to add yourself to a waiting list; you simply have to wait until the product has been restocked online. When attempting to view pricing, if the item is not in-stock, you also will be unable to look into how much it costs as the selection button does not function without product to back it. This is the case for all of the other products sold on the company website. Many only show availability for Queen sizes and you are unable to see pricing or availability for other sizes. The number of bugs on the website is frankly disappointing.

The Bottom Line

After extensive research, we feel that Tomorrow Sleep offers a high-quality mattress that fits the budget of a large number of individuals. The Hybrid and Memory Foam mattresses are made from quality materials and the ten year warranty speaks for itself. If you are in the market for a new mattress and hope to have it soon, this may not be the best option for you. If the size and style of mattress that you would like are not in stock, it is difficult to research pricing and future availability. If you are open to waiting and looking for a Hybrid or Memory Foam mattress, we recommend that you consider Tomorrow Sleep with other top mattress brands.
