Mattress Dealzz is a retailer with six warehouse showroom locations, all in Utah. It sells Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Perfect Bliss, and Core Elements mattresses. Perfect Bliss and Core Elements are their proprietary mattress lines, many of which are made at the Mattress Dealzz factory in Utah. The company’s goal is to be a low price leader in the local mattress industry. Same day or next day professional delivery at a small fee is easy because it only covers the state of Utah. In addition to innerspring, hybrid, and latex foam mattresses, it also sells RV mattresses, foundations, adjustable bases, bed frames, and mattress protectors for your bed.

The Good

Focus on Value

Mattress Dealzz has several low-price options via its proprietary Core Elements Sleep Collection. The company wants to have the best mattresses at each price point, some of which are very, very low.

For example, the Zinc Firm Open Coil Innerspring Mattress is only $69 for a Twin. The mattress is "beefy enough" for kids to jump on and it still comes with a five-year warranty. As an example of the company’s sheer number of value mattress options, it carries 20 Queen mattress models under $500, with 12 of these Queen mattress models under $300. This is hard to find in the mattress industry.

If you are shopping for a mattress online (in Utah) and looking for a truly low-price option, check out the clearance section of the Mattress Dealzz website. It has Twin sized models starting at $39; however, you should keep in mind that clearance prices may not include a warranty.

With the focus on value and low price points, Mattress Dealzz understands that you may want to use in-store pickup to take your mattress home when you purchase it, and the company is happy to help with that.

Options

Mattress Dealzz sells several types of mattresses all in one place, helping to make mattress shopping, especially quality and price comparison shopping easy to see and feel. It offers four categories of mattresses:

  • Open Coil Innerspring Mattresses — $59-$889
This category includes mattresses from Sealy and Core Elements brands, including the lowest priced proprietary mattress, the Nickel innerspring mattress. The company offers several different comfort levels, from firm to plush, including cushioned pillow top and euro top options with air foam or cool gel lumbar support foam.
  • Wrapped Coil Innerspring Mattresses — $309-$1289
Wrapped Coil mattresses are a step up in technology, quality and price from the innerspring category. Mattress Dealzz offers wrapped coil mattresses from Sealy and Stearns & Foster, with comfort levels firm to ultra plush.
  • Hybrid Mattresses — $499-$3499
Hybrid mattresses are offered from Perfect Bliss, Sealy, and Stearns & Foster. The Perfect Bliss Ruby Firm hybrid mattress ($499-$1019) with low motion technology, a reinforced middle third with zoned coils, a 15-year warranty, and a layer of Serene foam is the lowest-priced model. The special Serene foam relieves pressure as memory foam does, but its structure allows for more airflow to keep you cool.
  • Latex Foam Mattresses — $629-$2419
Latex mattress options are all from the Mattress Dealzz Perfect Bliss line and manufactured in Utah. They include options with Talalay latex, Serene foam, gel-infused latex foam, and pillowtop quilting for softness. All models come with a 15-year warranty.

Custom Mattresses

With a local mattress factory in the heart of its service area, Mattress Dealzz is able to make custom or special-sized mattresses if you need one to fit in your boat, camper, or even in an antique or hand-me-down bed or bed frame. It only takes about two weeks for custom-size mattresses to be produced.

Transparency

Mattress Dealzz is up-front and clear about its mattresses. Several of its lower-tiered mattress options are listed as good for kids or guest beds, but generally not for everyday use. The company also lists some as starter mattresses for couples, of “beefy” enough to hold up for your kids to jump on. It doesn’t pretend that its low-priced models will be the best fit for everyone. Mattress Dealzz is clear about the value in these low-priced options, and what they would be best for.

The Bad

  • Sizes
  • Warranty
  • Unverified Return Policy

Sizes

Not all mattress options are available in every traditional mattress size. Several of the company’s lower-priced options aren’t available in California King size. Sticking to a set number of sizes may allow Mattress Dealzz to keep prices low.

Warranty

With a focus on low prices, customers should know that not all mattresses come with the same warranty length. Most mattress models come with a warranty; however, some lower-priced mattresses come with different length warranties. Generally, the more expensive the model, the longer the warranty lasts, from 1 year for the Core Elements Nickel innerspring model ($59-$139) to 15 years for luxury models like the Perfect Bliss Emerald Plush hybrid mattress ($559-$1,119).

The company’s proprietary brands have a longer warranty period than the third party options from Sealy and Stearns & Foster, with lengths up to 15 years compared to 10. These name brand mattress models top out at 10 years.

The Bottom Line

As the name implies, Mattress Dealzz wants to give customers a great deal on their mattress purchase. Whether you value luxury brand quality, mid-range value affordable mattresses options, or getting the lowest possible price, this company will satisfy your needs. It caters to all kinds of customers but recognizes that many aren't in a position to spend thousands on a new mattress. Sometimes, you need to stay within your budget to be able to get a good night's sleep on your new mattress. If you are on a budget, Mattress Dealzz has value options for all kinds of sleepers. Make sure to ask customer service about your mattresses warranty and return policy, as it varies by model.

Mattress is a little firm - we have a memory foam part on top of it to soften it up. Overall, it is a very average mattress.

We bought our kids a mattress from here and it was ok. It wasn't the most comfortable mattress we ever had, but for the price it worked.
