  • The Classic 8 — $3,499
  • Energie Opus — $4,499

120-Day Trial

Essentia offers consumers a 120-day trial. If for any reason, you are not happy with your Essentia mattress purchase, you have 120 days to return it for a refund or exchange.

However, keep in mind that there is a 9 percent transportation fee. Customers who reside outside the continental United States or in Canada are responsible for any charges incurred for returning the product in addition to a 5 percent processing fee.

Made of Natural Memory Foam

There are several benefits to sleeping on a memory foam mattress: reduced back pain, improved circulation, and overall a better night's sleep. Essentia boasts that users will benefit even more from sleeping on its mattresses as its products are made with natural and organic materials.

Essentia's patented process takes high-quality natural and organic materials and turns them into a latex-based foam. Every mattress is tested in one of Essentia's factories: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) certified.

Offers Financing

If you want to, you can finance your new Essentia mattress through Affirm. This allows you to make monthly payments over 12, 24, or 36 months (which can lessen the financial burden of paying everything upfront).

The Bad

  • More Expensive Than Competitors

More Expensive Than Competitors

When comparing Essentia to other mattress companies, we found Essentia to be one of the more expensive options. Shoppers can expect to pay well over $1,000 for a Twin mattress, and over $4,000 for a King mattress. While the company does offer financing through Affirm, there are cheaper options available.

The Bottom Line

When purchasing an Essentia mattress, there is little doubt that you are getting a quality product. The company works hard to ensure that its mattresses are made with only the highest-quality materials. You have 120 days to try out your new mattress and if for any reason you're unhappy, the company will let you return or exchange your mattress. However, don't be surprised if you see a transportation fee. Essentia is one of the more expensive brands and adding accessories (pillows, sheets, foundations, etc.) will only increase your final price. So if you're worried about paying for everything upfront, we suggest looking into financing your purchase.
