After opening up his new business in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jost Fleck turned Kitchen Magic into an efficient, customer-friendly establishment. “Joe,” as he liked to be called, saw that there were many potential customers who couldn’t afford to remodel their kitchens. To help these customers, Joe planned to cover old cabinets with new material instead of tearing up the whole kitchen. Kitchen Magic has grown since opening its doors in 1979 and now provides its services to eight states in the U.S.

The Good

  • Good Warranty
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Family-Owned

Good Warranty

Kitchen Magic offers a 15-year warranty on company products. When you compare that to other warranties offered in the industry, that’s a fantastic incentive for potential customers.

Strong Work Ethic

The Kitchen Magic work ethic and history owes its strength to the charisma and sacrifice of its CEO, Jost Fleck. After taking some losses caused by floods of his “downstairs business,” Fleck decided to put all of his family’s savings into running a full-page ad in the newspaper. This type of sacrifice attests to the dedication that Kitchen Magic employees have to their service.

Family-Owned

Kitchen Magic was passed down from Jost Fleck to his son-in-law, Brett Bacho. The Kitchen Magic family legacy of hard work is passed down from its founder to his three daughters, who still help run day-to-day operations.

The Bad

  • Undisclosed Fees
  • Low Coverage

Undisclosed Fees

Like many companies that provide kitchen remodeling services, Kitchen Magic does not disclose any project fees. Though it may not have any fees at all, potential customers have no choice but to assume there are additional hidden fees. In this case, the most likely scenario is that any existing fees will be added on when you pay for your new kitchen remodeling.

Low Coverage

Kitchen Magic only provides its kitchen remodeling services to residents in eight of the 50 U.S. states. Those living outside its eight-state boundary are simply out of luck.

The Bottom Line

Kitchen Magic demonstrates a dedication and sincere desire to help customers get exactly what they need. Though it cannot service customers outside of its eight-state boundary and there is little information regarding fees on its website, Kitchen Magic provides fantastic service. We highly recommend customers consider Kitchen Magic for their kitchen remodeling needs.
