They are a little aggravating, send way to many emails unless you stop them. They have so many jobs to choose from though, and I actually got my current job through them, just don't care for the "clingy" way they use.

They only allow positive reviews so let's see if this goes through... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, ABSOLUTELY AWFUL UNETHICAL COMPANY! I interviewed with Indeed (the company itself, found the job on Indeed too). They promised a job created just for me, interviewed me for two days (free consulting) then hired internally. I was told over and over about this job made just for my skill set and me, THEY LIED AND MISLED. Also, the recruiter was incompetent; never answered my questions and sent me a draft interview schedule asking if I could meet at 6am when the final schedule was already sent to me from another recruiter. The incompetent one also prepped me ALL WRONG for the interviews, turns out the hiring manager didn't even know she was prepping candidates. The managers....one was in medical device sales previously, another has a religion degree, another was in nursing...my background is actually in the area and I wasn't chosen. THEY HIRE INTERNALLY OR THEIR FRIENDS. The hiring manager told me she got in because of a buddy that worked there already. I was also told they were expected to meet goals and continue working when huge storms took out their power and water! Sound like somewhere you want to work? They also rejected my review on BBB, clearly they don't want the truth about their organization out there.

Effective for finding jobs that are hiring. But send you way too many options that aren't even an option for me having filled out info for them to firm some profile or experience in jobs and what I'm looking for. Sick if getting all the e mails about jobs that don't apply to be at all

Indeed is pretty helpful - It has pretty much any job you could want in the area you live in. I've used this website to find jobs, but have not actually had a job I found on this website.

The UI is horrible, can't figure out how to use the sort/filter options, and the saved email searches don't work, but Indeed has the most jobs and they are typically active and recently posted.

Indeed has some good job postings, but I do not like that I have to provide my contact information on their website. I get a lot of spam emails and calls from them. However, I have found some good jobs on their website and its simple to search from jobs with their filters.

I like that Indeed has so many listings for so many types of jobs. Sometimes though it seems jobs appear that don’t match my search criteria but I think that actually keeps it interesting, something I haven’t thought about before.

On the other hand their search system is not great and I often feel like the search engine could be improved somehow. All in all, though I have used indeed to get a job before and it worked well for the most part!

Indeed is a go to for recruitment. As a recruiter, I received more traffic and responses from Indeed than any other source, but at times, the quality was not as "top notch" or as much as a fit as some more-targeted search capabilities. But it is much more reasonable in price.

I really like the ease of Indeed's job locater tool. You can get super specific so you can cater your search as close as possible to where you currently live for a short commute. The earning estimations are also very helpful and the application system is super streamlined once you get your profile set up.

Indeed makes it super easy to find and apply for a job. The only somewhat poor experience I had with Indeed is that after applying for a job on Indeed, I received a response to apply on the actual website. So Indeed could include the company's website and say to apply there.

I find that I don't' use Indeed as much as some of the other job boards, mainly because it just lacks in the advanced features of it's competitors. I find that most jobs I can find on indeed I can also find on the other job boards. I haven't had a negative experience with the website, I just prefer to use other sites for my job searches. I'd say it's rated as your average job search site without the extra bells and whistles.

It’s a jungle out there—-they just want your info and don’t care or facilitate you getting the job. My advice— Read indeed and do the searches Apply directly to the company Do not create an account This summer made the mistake of registering, but unregistered due to He many email matches. Got an email the job search was over and it was closed. But then because I felt I was just being pushed around like a number, I went straight to the company site. They interviewed me and I got the job!!!! Yeah! So, you don’t need them, they will leave you hanging. Use them as a “newspaper” and then YOU go get the job.

We have used Indeed to recruit for positions in our nonprofit. It has some good qualities but have repeated been flooded with resumes that don't come close to addressing the position we are trying to fill and many of them come without cover letters to explain why the person is a good fit. These are quickly eliminated. There should be better monitoring of the fit of an applicant for a job before automatically sending out a resume for a job the applicant is certainly not qualified for and may not even be interested in. From an employer's perspective this creates a great waste of time when Indeed could be of greater service by doing better matching and screening.
