CareerOneStop is a career exploration and training website sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, partnered with the American Job Center Network. Since 1998 it has served as a liaison between job seekers and localized employment centers.

CareerOneStop could not provide a comprehensive number of job postings per month but estimated that they have hundreds of new listings each day. Job listings are pulled from U.S. Jobs, America's Job Exchange, CareerBuilder, and Indeed, as well as nearly 3,000 government-funded brick-and-mortar employment centers. In the future, CareerOneStop will expand listings to include those from Employment Guide and Monster.Resources and Learning Materials

- Job finder provides job listings for any local area

- Unemployment benefits finder lists details for each state's unemployment insurance program, including instructions on how to file

All training materials and resources at CareerOneStop are free for job seekers and recruiters to access. However, accounts and memberships are nonexistent to begin with as employers cannot post jobs on the site and job seekers cannot create an account to mark favorite listings, track application progress, or receive email updates for specific searches.The Bottom Line

I wish I could collect gs-13 pay to tell people to just search indeed usajobs etc. Resume assistance at work one? The jobs for vets are the work one job for vet Employees, like one or 2 per region. I have yet to see any report showing money spent vs meaningful jobs acquired. One former work one center vet told me he "got his golden goose" never called people back with jobs leads or networking possibilities. Its all about me. I got my civil service pork barrel job, good luck. If the program money is so well spent, where is the data proving it with salaries. Show us the proof.

I've been trying to find a part time job and while looking I tried Career OneStop. My sister found a job using it. I thought it had a decent setup, it was a little confusing but I am not the best with computers. I did see a couple of jobs I was interested in.

Bad. Their tests are an abysmal sequence that incorporates no fundamentals of who somebody is or their talents or skill sets. Just a robotic waste of time feeling like you're spending your life to an animation. Prices are deplorable. Not worth a penny or a second of your life. Scam.

They never follow through they tell you all the ways they can help you and once you are signed up they don’t answer your calls or call back or help in anyway I think they get money when you sign up then they are done and just sit back and get a paycheck while we continue to struggle with the job search alone
