had these clowns in Pullman WA I had Pre-paid account,,lol so they say ,1 when they took my order [someone in FL ] he took out 3 accounts in my name .one account wasn't even a address,,took 3-4 months get clear up ,,2 when i close account because i moved 2 years later ,,ON Pre-paid account ,they left my account open for 3 added months ,HERE 4 years later and their still on my ''credit '''report bring down my credit score ON PRE-PAID 30 DAY ACCOUNT,, you had pay up front for next month,,,screw these Blackmailers

I called in for cancellation of my service on 10/10/19, however, I had to pay around $56 because they said my cancellation request was after 10/8/19. So basically I had to pay another month’s fee for the service I did not use since my switch to my carrier. On 11/10/19, they charged me another $10 for so-called termination fee. Their customer service was terrible and not much useful. I do not recommend anyone use their service.

DO NOT get this internet service if you are a gamer, or like to casually browse the web. At best this internet will let you load an email. We are promised 5mbps in our location. Which is terrible as it is, but literally 75% of our the day the internet is below 1mbps, and .03 upload. Ridiculous. Especially if it takes 25.67 seconds to load Google.com. If you have this service please switch right away. This is not worth your valuable time and money. Let this company die.

A class action lawsuit should be started. Paying $54.99 for their ultra, suppose to be within 75% of 12 Mbps download, and 1 Mbps upload. At best I get 7.14 Mpbs download, and haven't received above 0.21 upload, and I'm only 8,000 feet from hub. Frontier is the worst service, with terrible technicians that don't show when scheduled, and rude customer service.

Like most other reviews indicate, Frontier seems totally unconcerned with providing any degree of a quality service to their customers. I have witnessed virtually all the problems with Frontier already posted here. If there were negative rating options available I would put them at minus 10. I have had some bad experiences with a few other companies but don't believe any have been worse than Frontier.

If I could put 0 stars as my rating I would because this is THE WORSE internet provider I have ever experienced. We live semi-rural and it appears they are our only option and they take advantage of that fact. We can never connect on the internet and we have contacted customer service repeatedly and schedule a tech to come and check our hook up and Frontier ALWAYS cancels at the last minute...ALWAYS! My advice if you have other options...TAKE THEM! Avoid this company like the plague!

Please do not waste your money. This is the worst most unreliable communications company ever. If I had a better choice I would switch in a heart beat. We live in a mountain rural area. My max MPs is 3. When you call about problems it’s never Frontiers fault always the other company I.e. Verizon, Apple, Vizio, etc whatever. Customer service isn’t the greatest. Online customer service is better than an actual call. I just hope one day some other internet provider will come to our area.

Customer service and tech service will promise you the moon ... for about a week, and then back to the same old 'dial-up' service at broadband price. For $54 dollars per month i have a difficult time using the internet, let alone watching a video on youtube. Frontiernet.net knows there are no alternative services in my area and therefore they are taking advantage of this. Poor poor services and internet. Way too expensive for what you are delivered.

Lost internet for several days after just being a customer for 2 months. Told problem was in they’re hub but they couldn’t fix. Horrible customer service. Never received any calls for updates. Had to always call them. Horrible wait times. Still not fixed! Stay away from Frontier!! We will pay cancellation fees to get out. Most unprofessional company we have ever felt with! Sad!

If I could I could rate 0 stars I would. Worst internet server I have ever used. Never connects interent and when it finally does after restarting the router 100 times, it disconnects or is very slow. Guy who came to connect the router made three appointments and didnt show up till the fourth. He was rude and kept rolling his eyes when we asked questions. People who also work for them online or on the phone were never helpful always lying and stealing your money.

Terrible company. Says that they can provide high speed unlimited data, you sign up, pay them, and then they call you right before installation to tell you that they can't provide the high speed they told you that they could previously on at least 5 occasions! I work from home and the speed was critical. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Total bate and switch tactics.

Crappy Customer service and internet service. Speeds are so slow. Connection is off and on at all hours of the day. They Said I will have 24 mbps. I'm getting 2? Called the tech and he says "everything is good on his side I'm showing 60%" Really? 60 %. I asked him if I should only pay 60% of my Bill then. He didn't find that amusing. I would stay away from this company . You're much better off paying the extra for a better service.

Since I cannot give them a negative score a 1 is the lowest I can give them. Over the last 4 months I have spent well over 50 hours on the phone trying to get my landline and internet fixed I finally canceled my phone but since I live in a rural area we have very few choices so I decided to upgrade my speed and not a shock it's been 2 weeks and its broke and I have to wait 5 days for them to come fix their mistake if you have another company you can go with in your area I would steer clear of frontier

I wish I could give this company a 0 rating. Where to begin: Customer service is some call center in some 3rd world country that is absolutely helpless. After an exhausting 15-20 minutes going thru an auto-prompt to speak with a live person they have you do a hard re-boot and if that still doesn't work they send you a new modem (I'm on number 7). If I had any other choice for internet I'd switch but I don't. The internet is so bad and the customer service is even worse that I'm about ready to just go without internet all together!

I wouldn't give it a 1 star Modem died on monday 2 days on phone said we could drive to muskegon to exchange it. The result was a non fixed modems. Buy different router its not compatible. We have spent 2 days on phone to be told we can get an appointment the following Wednesday. LEAVING 9 days with no internet. My husband works from home where the internet is essental to his job. Horrible customer service and follow up 😭😡 and they will give a 10 credit for our trouble! Plus we get to pay the $70 service technician fee!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely deplorable customer service!! Never showed up for first appt, no call no nothing. I sat in an empty warehouse for 4 hours. Came out next day. (Saturday). Monday at 10 am my internet stopped working. Supervisor said he would call back and get someone out. Never called. Next day I called and they finally came out. Someone put my internet order on another client. Lost 4 days of business.

My experience with Frontier internet has been very poor. The service is out frequently. The customer service department is horrible. I have had various issues when calling to correct an issue with my billing that goes un resolved. When calling back to ask someone why problem wasn't corrected, there is no accountability and was always given the answer that the person before didn't make a note. I cancelled my service, yet the person didn't disconnect and I continued to be billed. I will never use Frontier again or recommend any person to use.

Please please listen to the reviews. I was stupid and didn't. Called set up cable/internet. 3 days later I'm told I never signed up for cable. Told them y'all took money for it. Was told they didn't. Had to get money back from my bank. I canceled the internet service was told I would recieve refund in 5 days , 6th day was told it could take 7 days l, 8 th day was told 21 days. 100% rip off

My internet went down Tuesday. I was told Thursday. I was not happy. Then I received a text message saying not Thursday but a week from Thursday. 9 days to repair internet is ludicrous. Nine days of no 911 service (I have VOIP), no business communication for on line bill pay, banking etc., and no entertainment. Then, there is no one reachable by phone that could (or would) provide a phone number of the corporate office. If the leaders of the company are going to hide from the paying customers, why give them your business?

Frontier ended up breaking our internet service when they were working on someone else's service and then refused to fix ours for 5 days. They also left our box open and exposed, left their tools in our yard and parts packaging in our driveway. Totally unacceptable service and no acceptance of responsibility. If you have any choice at all, DO NOT choose them as a provider.

Frontier is absolutely the worst! I just tried to get on the Internet which it worked for four minutes and has been down for 10. But this is the only choice I have where I’m at! I can’t even get any decent help. They tell me this is the best I can get & apologize for it Constantly going down. I’ve been going through this for three months now. I pay $67 a month for what?? It’s down more than it’s up and I am more than sick about this

At all cost of avoid this company they're terrible I would give them a zero if that was an available rating. Be prepared to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour on hold waiting to get served from people that aren't even local. My service has been down for 2 months I've made Five phone calls at 45 minutes to an hour on hold each time. Customer service was supposed to come out today they never showed even though they said we had to be present from 1:00 till 5:00 pm we stayed home and nobody showed some service, what a joke.

Service never worked. I spent hours on the phone with tech support only for them to finally say that they didn't have good coverage in my area. I cancelled the same day and then kept getting billed for service. I called customer service 4 times and each time they guaranteed me that it was cancelled and I would no longer receive any bills. Now I'm getting letters from their collections department for a service that I never had. Total nightmare dealing with this company!

Sneaky, unethical business practices. The price they quote will NOT be the price you pay. And it's not just "taxes". There will be all kinds of equipment fees and other fees that they conveniently omit when they tell you about their prices. For example, for internet speeds over 100Mbps, you HAVE to buy or rent the router FROM THEM, even though you could buy an exactly identical router -- with the exact same Frontier FiOS firmware and everything -- on eBay for ONE-FOURTH the price!

I ended up having to go to Salvation Army to find a used modem and set it up myself. No internet for a week. NOT GOOD. Good luck finding a DSL modem. I really hope someone at Frontier pull the head out. And yes I'm changing service

Hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The technician was suppose to set up my internet between 1-5 and waited until 4 to notify me it would be another 2 weeks before he could make it out. And then customer service and tech support were the least helpful humans to ever do their job. And to cap it all off one of the customer service supervisors cancelled my order all together causing me to have to get yet another credit check.

This was the worst experience from start to finish i have ever had. Waited 17 days for install, no body showed up. No call, no communication!!! That is what they are supposed to specialize in. We called in 5 times to only get lied to. We never even got an install. Watch out for this company!!!!! They are a scam and provide extremely poor customer service. I will definitely warn everyone i know to stay far away from them!!!!!

I have constant connection problems. I have called several times with no luck, at one point I was supposed to receive compensation for the bad service and was told to call back. When I did I was told I called at the wrong time and to call back during regular business hours. After I did that I was told they are not authorized to do that. The price keeps going up and the service in regards to product and people are terrible. FIND SOMETHING BETTER THEN FRONTIER!!!!!

The worst customer service of any internet provider on the planet. My service went out due to a lightning storm, I was informed the next day that I would have to be without my service for almost 2 weeks. This is not my first experience with their lousy service. The initial installment was a frigging nightmare. Technicians not keeping appointments and not bothering to even call. We have no other providers in this area, so we are stuck with this situation. I would not recommend Frontier to anyone that has another option.

We are almost calling daily because something is wrong with the internet and they never have answers. Put in hold for an hour or longer. We schedule a technician to come out and they never show up. Call frontier to see why and no one has answers. Spend the extra money and go with charter and save the hassle of crappy customer service crappy equipment and the never ending lies from them!

For the first time since I was 12, I switched from Frontier to Xfinity by Verizon. I had always hated Verizon for their shady business, but Verizon’s internet was amazing compared to Frontier. For 20 dollars MORE, you get internet 1/2 the speed of Verizon from Frontier. They over charge their customers and throttle your internet to high hell. They’re not worth the money especially in my area.

Monthly service is pretty good and speeds are good. Installation is a complete rip-off! Our free installation cost us $185.00 and the customer service people didn't care that the installer flat out lied to them about how long he was here installing it. He claimed he was here for two hours and he was actually here for 40 minutes. We will switch as soon as we can!!!!!

have been with Frontier for 5 years... only because there is no alternative. Internet access is unavailable at least 25 % of the time. When it is available it is painfully sluggish. I would say that Customer "service" is a joke, except it's worse than that... they routinely claim that problems have been fixed when they have not, and they attempt to bill us to resolve problems that are their responsibility. If there was ANY other choice in our area we would gladly switch internet providers.

The hidden fees are numerous. $30/month Internet service is the advertised price. Add $75 for installation (at least, could be more) and a $5/month router fee that is NOT optional (even if you don't have their router). Add taxes and "other charges" of $3.04/month. Over the course of a year is actually $44.29/month minimum. That is almost a 50% increase in actual cost over advertised cost (47.63% to be exact).

Negative star. It often disconnected. They just install yesterday and it doesn't work right. After I talked with customer service, they keep transfer around the world. I want to cancel, they said I have to pay for installation fee, monthly fee & cancellation fee. Finally, they said I have to pay for installation fee $72, they waived for monthly fee and cancellation fee. It's not fair but I'm so tired to hold on the phone almost all day.

50-350 KILOBYES per second for downloading. Horrible non helpful customer service. Overpriced crap then some of charters offers. Takes days to download games sometimes. If anyone used YouTube in the house online games lag hard. The moment we can switch we are switching because Frontier is a scam and a horrible unfriendly environment who lies about their internet service and they should all feel ashamed of themselves. I feel no respect for Frontier or anyone there.

Worst internet company ever. Terrible customer service. I would rather have no internet than deal with this company's false claims and made up services. I paid extra every month for "fiber optic" internet which ran slower than my old cheap dial-up internet. Don't even try to contact anyone in customer service: they will put you on hold for 20 minutes and then hang up on you. DO NOT USE.

I clicked on the package I wanted which was internet only for $30. A pop up said to call in to order and to give a code to get an Amazon gift card. There was no fine print. I ended up paying $9 more per month than advertised online for the package I wanted plus almost $90 for installation . Then they refused to honor the code for the gift card because they said I got promotional pricing. They offered to bump my price up to $50 per month and give me a gift card. I declined and told them I'd just keep my $39.99 price and report them to the FTC for false advertising.

Technician never showed up to hook up new service and they said it was a missed appointment my fault. After 2 hr on hold and arguing with them they finally admitted that the tech didn't show because they really don't have service in my area. Really?

Let's keep it simple I have had service for 9 years dealing with their empty promises of new, faster internet . I average 1.4 mbps down loads and have access to a top speed of 3.7 mbps, even though I have been paying for up to 6 mbps (still slow) butthey know that in my area they are one of 2 companies that have service. The other is satellite, enough said there. To break it down......hello 1991 called they want their dsl back!

Frontier Broadband EXPLOITS citizens residing in rural areas. Frequently had 1-2mbps when paying for 12mpbs. Upon cancelling services, you WILL be billed for the ENTIRE month. Refunds issued in 3 MONTHS. Frontier customer service is a JOKE. When switching residences, on multiple occasions, set up technicians never showed up. I could go on and on regarding complaints about this company. Completely dissatisfied.

Customer service lacks any expertise to problem solve system issues. I had to cancel and reissue a credit card and left the country. Because I missed the payment when I returned my internet was shut off and even after I made a payment the reps thought it would take a day to get it back on. The reps were pleasant but not helpful to resolve. I asked to speak to a supervisor was put on hold and of course was disconnected without a return call. I am planning to try to find another internet service provider.

This company has lied to me over and over again. They promised to fix our internet and lower our bill for the inconvience then added over $80 to our bill. Then month after month (for the last five months) they've been charging late fees and for the original increase since we refused to pay it and they said they would fix it. Now they've shut off everything because of the late fee even though they have said they would remove it. Very disappointed in this new company.

This service is terrible. When it was Verizon I had no problems at all. Now that it switched to Frontier my speed has dropped even though they said I was getting more mbps for no extra cost. I only use it for my game system and phone and I literally have to sit right next to my wireless router just to get a decent signal. Something needs to improve or I will just have to pay double the money to go to a company who's Internet service actually works. I'm tired of getting kicked off of my own Internet service every 20 mins. It's rediculous!

Is there a -100 rating? HORRIBLE company! I was overcharged on their very first invoice and it took over 70 days, with many calls to their supposed customer service, to get the credit I was due. ON HOLD forever when trying to reach their BS customer service. Their internet signal was terrible and would "pulse" from fair to NO signal. They refused to send a tech out to analyze this issue without additional charges. Cancelled the service and now am waiting to do battle over the final charges. Have filed formal complaints with the FCC, BBB and Texas State Attorneys Office.

Horrible customer service from the financial care department, when asked for a supervisor told me no could not do anything for me, when I asked for one again she transferred me back to customer care. Service is horrible Verizon made a mistake selling to these people. They demand payments and add charges for no reason the wait times are over an hour long. When I transferred services it took them over a month to to get to me and each time I called they said last person did the ticket wrong.. 252$ for nothing I hate frontier

Terrible, terrible customer service!! I just had a guy come up to try and fix my tv for me but he was really rude, threw my clothes on the ground so that he could get to the internet box and he spent three hours on the phone with his partner to get it working just for him to say he couldn't do anything about it! And instead of doing it himself he told me that someone else will have to finish the job that they pay him to do! He wasted my time and plans i had for the day that i had to cancel and gave no apologies for it. Would not recommend this service to anybody!!

this company makes promises and is unable to keep then. Since they took over from Verizon my internet has run at less then optimal speeds that I am paying for. I currently am paying for 50 MBPS and for a week i have watch the speed of my services and the best day downloads were 13.76 and uploads 7.66. The company said that there was nothing that they could do. Customer services is based out of India and it took 45 minutes to speak to someone in the US.

I HATE HATE HATE "Frontier".... I live in CA and the take over has been horrible. Nothing works...and their customer service is awful! They are rude and aggressive and don't care about their 'new fios' customers! I called and the manager was so unmannerly and curt... she had no customer service skills at all. I had a quote from one of their service reps and the manager said it was a mistake and she would not honor it. My bill will go from $145 to $207 next month and she told me " if I didn't like it to seek service from another company!" I will do that....

Since taking over my Verizon account 3 weeks ago, nothing on the cable box works. I can watch TV but the sorting options for the guide don't do anything (still shows channels I don't have), can't subscribe to new channels through the box, and can't reboot the box through their website. Their customer service is yet another outsourced call center and the people can not comprehend English. Described my problems to "Mary" (lol) but she decided to make up a different problem and proceeded to troubleshoot that one. So far a horrible company
