I like dish because otherwise I wouldn't have TV as I live in an extremely rural area. One of the things I am still angry about is that I was promised a $200 Visa gift card and they basically called me a liar I told them why don't you pull the recorded call. So it's been several months and I still have not received my Visa gift card, nor has my neighbor received her $100 Visa gift card. They keep putting it off, and trying to make me jump through loops. I so give up. I feel like that was a total scam. What I didn't like was the technician really botched the installation and was very lazy and got irritated with me when I told him I didn't want to cord running across my room. Anyhow I really like the channel selections and they offer a lot. They are very expensive but what's a person to do when that's all you've got. Customer service is pretty good as a matter of fact it's really good the telephone customer service is quite excellent. So I can't complain too much as it rarely goes down. I do test that huge bill every month.

I contracted with Dish through a local provider in the hope of lowering my cable/internet bill. They had a booth at the local county fair. The installer arrived and did a survey of my home and told me they would install the dish system on my roof, but - couldn't guarantee that they would not damage my roof - couldn't connect to the coax inside my home - insisted they would need to put holes in my walls to the outside of the house and run their fiber along the floorboards I sent them home.

I had dish three different times when I have moved when I lived in one place the internet was extremely bad they said I live too far out in the country I transferred it it was somewhat better but still very expensive and then I had transferred it again and should have kept the same price as I had been paying all along well they tried to raise it by $40 per month I had to have a total fit on them to get them to reduce it but they still did not reduce it back to where it was

I've been using Dish for the past few months and have generally been pretty satisfied with their service. The speeds are good and the price is reasonable. My only complaint is that their customer service could be better - it can take a while to get an answer to your questions or issues. Other than that though, I'm pretty happy with them overall!

Dish started out great, but as the monthly bill increased just about every other month I dropped them. The bill was under $100 and by the time I dropped Dish it was more than$135 per month. Not to mention the black out with other station networks. That did it for me . It was happening to often

Was good until I moved and wasn't able to pay the few they charge for installing the equipment at the new place they will give you free installation when you 1st sign up but charge you $3k to move it and in o there to keep your acct you have to agree to 6 months or more and weather you have service or not you have to finish out the contract

My parents use Dish Internet at their house and have been the last several years. The network is okay, but not the fastest. Anytime we try to stream, it gets buggy and starts to lag. When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it is a complete nightmare.

We used Dish internet as a bundle package with tv. Being satellite service, it was especially unreliable in storms, but otherwise good. There did seem to be some buffering issues and slows speeds near the end of the day during times of high use.

When it comes to a satellite system, they have a variety of selection, but the lack of reliability is frustrating during rain and thunderstorms and snow the quality virtually disappears.

We had Dish for one year before changing to a more reliable service. Being in Florida there are a lot of storms. The reception with Dish is almost nil during a rain storm. For that reason I would not reccommend.

We have used Dish in the past and had to switch to DirectTV. Reason for our switch was their pricing packages and interrupted programs due to cloudy or bad weather. This was deal breaker

We had dish internet in our old home and it worked fine. It wasn't very fast but we were always told it was because we were a new subdivision. When we dropped dish we dropped the internet service as well
