Good luck even getting service. Moved away and have been able to call different companies to see if they offer internet alone which I haven’t found one that does. Dish representative said he was checking asked for my phone number and address gave that out asked again about internet but apparently that depends on setting up an account first? and they won’t give you an answer until you set up an account with them? No thank you I’ll be happy to set up an account if I know you offer what I want. But you can’t even tell me yes or no about internet. Thanks for wasting your time and mine.

Absolutely horrible service. Yes, the Hopper to record shows is nice, but unfortunately we could only record 2 channels at a time, and if the weather was bad, your recording was all messed up. Anytime it rained hard, the wind blew hard, or snow fell, we lost signal. You couldn't watch anything or use the internet. And the internet was the worst we have ever had! You cannot stream any movies you download. Forget about having strong enough signal to download files from work or the bandwidth to send large files in your email! They are partnered with HughesNet for internet and both Dish and HughesNet are awful. Just shop around for a better internet provider or for StarLink.

I am in the north carolina rocky mount area. I contacted dish network for internet service. They said that they offered it in my area and once i entered my s.s. number and let them put a hold on my cc they told me that they didn't offer internet in my area. I took a 13 point hit on my credit for no reason. Buyer beware.

They have not increased bandwidth allotments to account for the greater amount of bandwidth used by every site now. So, with no change in our time on line or sites visited, we are now always throttled before the end of our billing period. Once we were throttled THREE DAYS into a new cycle, thanks to a big dumper from Microsoft.

Paid for certain programming which Dish later dropped. My monthly charge did not go down, it went up. Customer service was very poor and they didn't seem to care. Dish had rather pay to attract new customers instead of retaining customers that have been with them for years. Well, they lost my business and I have saved a ton of money by streaming. Good riddance Dish!

I was a customer of dish for many years. But during the pandemic my DVR went out and they sent seven representatives one per month into my home to exchange DVRs because they sent me seven in a row that were defective. When I started to complain about it I got nothing but push back. I was given a credit but then apparently because I called to complain too many times they took the credit back even thoughMy DVR never worked properly after that so I went back to the hell that is Comcast

They said we could get Dish so we set up an appointment to get it installed and the guy didn't seem like he wanted to work that day so he made up some reason why he couldn't install it for us. We ended up getting something else after they wasted our time.

In my most recent experience DISH has an outage which caused my automatic payment to not be processed. They charged me a $10 late fee. I spent over an hour on hold yesterday only to be told that their systems were still down and to call back.

Absolutely crap. They got hijacked and our service is basically terminated because we cannot access the guide or channels to watch what we paid for. Yet, the continue to bill us for services not rendered. Cannot contact them, except to pay a bill for something we can’t use

I was with dish for 2 years. I had a bundle package. I was restricted to the channels they put together or get charged twice as much by adding one channel. I also was supposed to have one bill. I didn't receive any bill for almost the entire time. I was charged all at once. Not my mistake, yet my service was terminated due to their error.

i had the Dish program satellite. It suffers from inconsistent and poor reception. When i complained the customer service was poor. Eventually, i found a better streaming cable based system that i switched. Unless you have no choice, never get this.

Programming is duplicated x 4 so channel count is a lie. Not enough room to tell what a mess satellite programming is like. Dumping soon, going free.
