IdentityIQ strives to better protect and empower the consumer through concise delivery of credit and identity data.

The company has provided consumers with identity- and credit-related protection solutions at affordable monthly rates, as well as identity theft education programs to corporate and academic associations, since its founding in 2009.

The privately-held, Nevada-based company's goal is to help each user understand what can impact their credit and personal identity as well as give customers access to a variety of data sources and help them sense identity fraud as well as understand how that data can affect them.

IdentityIQ's comprehensive identity suite includes family protection, dark web monitoring, identity theft protection and restoration, credit reports and scores, VPN and anti-virus services, and credit monitoring. Customers can choose from four different identity protection plan options that vary in monthly pricing and features.

This company is horrible! I signed up for a free trail and didn’t cancel I time. So, they charged my card. When I called for refund they said they don’t give refunds but they will cancel the account. Understandable. Fast forward to next month. They charged my account again after I already called to cancel the account. They told me I had to call back to cancel the account because they didn’t have an automatic system to cancel. I told her “I called to cancel the account, why would I call back a second time to cancel the account again?” All she could say is well we don’t do refunds and there’s not we can do.

I only signed up for the 7 day free trial. I have tried calling to cancel my 7DAY FREE TRIAL but cannot get anyone on the phone. I was charged today for a service that I do not want and do not use. It's been trying to charge my card everyday and it finally got charged and I am not and I repeat I AM NOT PAYING FOR ANYTHING THAT I DO NOT WANT. I want a full refund immediately. I have to wait until 8:30am to speak to someone so be ready because I'm not happy about this and you will be finding that out in the morning. I apologize in advance to whoever answers the phone because I want my money back NOW

If I could give 0 stars I would, Im sure that this subscription was thrown in on another website and the person was not reading when they accepted the the offer because my card was used by someone else. I called to get a refund because I did not authorize this charge. I was condescended by the rep actually by two reps saying no one could charge your card unless you provided the card information, and Im thinking you should know better this is basically the name of your company. Then I was also told they have a strict no refund policy, and proceeded to tell me that they would get in touch with the account holder to see if they want to change payment method. This company is a joke, and I believe all the good reviews were from the other pyramid schemers that is in or associated with this company. I will be cancelling my card info never again fake indentityiq company, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR PERSONAL INFO THEY ARE THE CROOKS HIDING IN PLAIN SITE!!!!!!!

I had an outside company sign me up with IdentityIQ and I immediately after the trial period cancelled them. I was just seeing if this company could help me with my Credit Card debt however after my own work in my free time I quashed all my debt on my own. However they kept charging my card regardless. I put a block on my Capital One account to the point I need a new card issued because IdentityIQ would not heed the block and kept attempting charges and yet they still send me emails attempting to update my banking info. Get the hint, I don’t need or want your service. If you wanna watch your credit and take care of your debts, don’t be lazy and just do it yourself.

I just canceled both my wife and I's subscription this month. We were both paying for the $30.00 plan ($60 total) and upon cancellation I was told I should refresh our profiles to get our latest score. Every time I logged on since APRIL it's been saying NO activity!! I just thought no news was good news. The gentlemen asked me if I was sure i wanted to cancel and I replied you cannot do it fast enough! I'm not sure where this so called "refresh" button is when I logged in via the mobile phone, but I cannot believe I wasted all the money for nothing in return!! I've used other credit monitoring sites in the past and never had this issue. STAY AWAY!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. First the rep hangs up on me when asking when I still get the report I paid for be refund it. I was then told by another rep that I was told the following which wasn’t true. Long story short if you’re going to cancel they’re going to keep your money and you won’t get the report you paid for. They told me if I dispute the charges I would be committing fraud. They were closed on the day they charged my card. Really. Definitely following up a complaint with the NFCC see the BBB and the attorney generals office. The nerve of some people. After all they just work for the company they could care less about the quality control on a call.

It sounded like they were having a party every time I called. When I spoke to the operator she asked me the same questions repeatedly, as if she didnt remember asking the same question one sentence prior in our conversation. Terrible customer service and terrifying to think these people would have anything to do with me or any of my personal information in any way... beware!!! *update* I received a call from identityiq in regards to this and was refunded the last 2 months service fees, expressed a sincere apology and explanation of their plan to mitigate the problems within. They stressed to me they did not want to end on a bad note.

I Feel like this should be made public. identifyIQ has horrible customer service and public relations team suck: IdentifyIQ answer: Thank you for your feedback. I want to apologize for the bad experience you encountered with one of our agents. Customer service is extremely important to us and we encourage our customers to ask for a supervisor if you are not satisfied for any reason. For security reasons and for our customer’s protection we require our customer’s to call IdentityIQ to cancel their membership. During enrollment you agreed to our terms of service agreement which states that all cancellations must be done by calling IdentityIQ only. Regarding your trial period, I was able to confirm you called to cancel after the trial period expired; your enrollment date was October 30th. As stated on the agreement and part of our trial period promotion, you must cancel within the promotion time frame to avoid any further charges. After reviewing the call, the agent advised that once the account is cancelled you will not be able to access the member site, you agreed and the account was cancelled. We encourage all our customer’s to maximize their benefits before the cancellation is processed in order for you to stay protected. Thank you again for your feedback. My response Since you reviewed the call did you not hear me ask for a supervisor??? I then said never mind since your representative was being rude and yelling my name. Or did you conveniently leave that out of your reply??? Second I never said that wasn't in the service agreement, I never said I was charged before free trial date was over. I said its extremely SHADY and INCONVENIENT to have to call and cancel. It's not openly on the website. regardless if it's in a service agreement. Security and Protection? Did you confirm who was buying your service? That's BS... you do it so you can get people to pay for the subscription. Just like you discourage people to end their subscription by canceling all services that was already purchased. A good response could have been "we apologize for the negative experience, moving forward we will try to make our site and service more user friendly" But identifyIQ is too stupid to say that instead you want to try and point out how wrong the customer is or defend your Shady business practices. Regardless of your attempt to justify any of your company actions I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR REFER identityIQ dont waste your time or money.

I used their services to sign myself up first and everything was all good, but once i signed up my husband i ran into an issue. I signed my husband up and instead of them charging me for a trial they charged my credit card $29.99. I was so pissed and will not use their service again. I called in and let the rep from the company know what had happened and they wanted to speak with my husband when it was my credit card and my husband did not have access to my credit card. I had to text my husband my credit card info. The reason i was signing up for their services was because we was trying to work on our credit. I hate companies that try to give you a hard time. My tip to anyone would be to use a user friendly company because they are not.

I’ve reviewed both accounts and it appears you used a promotional link that offered a trial period; however, when your husband enrolled he went through our public site, not the special promotional link that offered the trial period. We went hrough sky blue credit repair and they gave us a link to Identity IQ. Identity IQ had a deal at the top of the page for 14.95 which I thought was a good deal.. In the right hand column it had another price for 29.99 which had total written next to it. I was confused so before making my purchase I called Identity IQ and asked what was this about 29.99 and the girl who had such a strong accent said Oh don't worry that doesn't apply to you. Well guess what she lied and they did not take the 14.95 out but charged me double at 29.99. I was floored. I called back when they did this and they at least credited the money back after 3 business days. Then to top it all off I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and do this for my wife. THEY DID IT AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about headache. They claimed I did not do my account through Sky blue however I did. Sky blue sent me a link or I would not have even known about their company. Needless to say these people are complete morons or they are dishonest. Check to see how much they charge you on your bank account.

Hi William, I am sorry this was your experience with our company. We take negative feedback seriously and would like an opportunity to remedy any outstanding issues with your accounts. It looks like you were enrolled in the $14.95 Sky Blue special promotion and that account is still active. I also see in our records that you originally enrolled your wife in a plan from the main website and not through the Sky Blue promotion and after being advised of this, were able to cancel that membership and get you wife enrolled using the correct Sky Blue link. You were charged $14.95 for your membership. You were also charged $29.99 for the membership that was incorrectly enrolled. This has been refunded to your account. I assure you this was just a case of not using the correct promotional link. We want to make sure that all the issues you presented are addressed, please let us know how we can help you further or if there is anything still outstanding.

I consistently tried to cancel my subscription for their services. First of all, it's 2016 and it's majorly inconvenient that the only way to cancel is to physically call in and wait on line for a customer service representative. When I first called to cancel, the girl asked why I was cancelling and told her I no longer needed the service. She told me she would be able to lower the price to $7.99, and I thought okay fine... $8 to get your credit score and monitored each month. Come to find out that the $7.99 was just for their basic program and I couldn't check anything. When I called to cancel they would tell me I had to call at the end of the month. Then when I would call to cancel they would say your card has already been charged, you will have to call again. SO. FRUSTRATING.

Don't go with this company. The scores they report are inaccurate and when you get ahold of someone they are completely clueless. I cancelled my account and still got charged then when I called they said oh it's pending it will drop off. It didn't so I called back again and they said oh your bank has to deal with that and I'm like no you need to deal with it you charged it. Josh then replied we can't see it on our end so I can't take it off. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they are all in meetings. He told me to call back again tomorrow. What a joke! This company is a rip off don't do it!

Do not use this service Do not use this service! This company's costs is much higher than its competitors, it does not provide a free credit report or account details like its competitors (makes you pay for a report) and worst of all they make it impossible to cancel the subscription. There is not an online cancelation option, they make you call and then harass you about canceling. In addition, the monitoring did not pick up credit card defaults, credit card settlements, or a new collection.

I thought I had cancelled this service when I completed my work with a credit counselor, so When I got charged, I called to see why. They told me my account had not been cancelled. When I requested to cancel, they complied, but told me I would not get a refund for the month and would also no longer have access to my account. Signed up for them because I was told to from Sky Blue Credit Repair . Thought scores were accurate until after 4 months I went to try and apply for credit. The score I was given from the lender was 45 points lower than what identity IQ states. How does this happen when your paying 21.99 for a monthly service. Thought maybe it was a fluke so tried another lender, nope still the same, 40 points below the scores that I was paying for. Do not waste your money with this place. Not accurate what so ever.

We apologize you did not have a good experience using our service. There are many different scoring models used today, each of which uses its own mathematical formula. We use the VantageScore 3.0 model that was developed by all three of the credit reporting agencies. We do not make any changes to the score and show you only what we receive directly from the credit reporting agencies. Additionally, credit scores can fluctuate throughout the month; moving up or down, as information is added to your credit file.

My experience with IDIQ was upsetting because the way they chose to do business with me. It was not about the money however they convinced me to pay for a plan that cost a lot less and did not tell me that I wouldn't have access to my report. I would've canceled much sooner had I had known that. Again not about the money they really just tricked me into another plan that was completely useless.

I had idenityiq for 1 month. I called after 1 month to see when they would update my scores. I called back and come to find out they accidentally cancelled my account and they could not reinstate it I had to pay again to get it reinstated. The lady that i spoke with informed me that my account would be cancelled. Next thing I know, I get an email from the company a few weeks later. This company is a complete RIP-OFF. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They lock you into recurring payments. Then cannot backdate cancellations. You have to call back when it's about to expire, or you will be charged another month. If you choose to cancel immediately, you are still charged but will not be able to use the services for the rest of the month.

SCAM!SCAM! Do not enter your credit card information to try free for 7 days! They don’t tell you on the company’s landing page, when canceling the 7 day trial , it can’t be cancelled online. You will have to call a customer service line that’s only open Monday- Friday. If the 7th day falls on a weekend they will CHARGE your card on the 7th day! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

I started with the free trial. I went in on day 6 which was a Friday to cancel however it was after 5pm. There is no way to cancel online you have to call. But they're only available by phone M-F 8-5. Therefore I was charged the 19.99 that I never wanted. Call today to cancel and even though I've now paid for another month I will no longer have access as of today. It is setup to take advantage of people. Sure I'll call back and cancel but we all know that we forget or god forbid it falls on a weekend and then bam another charge! Bad customer service.

I attempted to sign up for the 7-day trial, and the CC I was using kept gettin an error message as being invalid information. I tried 3x to make sure I was not entering in any wrong information, and each time it gave me the error. So I tried my debit card and it worked fine, and I was allowed to become a trial member. I then got an alert that my CC account was pre-authorized $19.99 3X in a row, even though the website was telling me it was not valid. They will do nothing for me, never offered me a free month for my troubles, or anyting but you can call your bank. Pretty bad.

This company forces you to call to cancel your membership. Then, instead of letting you run the full course of the month you paid for, it cancels your membership immediately when you call. I would have had 8 days left to my membership but they told me to call back to cancel in 8 days. Which, of course is a scam because they want you to forget to call so they can charge you. Not a fan of companies that behave this way. Credit Karma is free and I see no real difference between the two.

This is nothing but a big scam, I recently couldn't log onto the system with numerous attempts and even calling customer service...So I cancelled the service and received an email stating this cancellation and than a few weeks latter they billed me again for another month....So fine I called looking for them to return my funds since I cancelled the service and the arrogant, rude, customer service agent refused to issue me a refund....Now I have to dispute it with my credit card company.....Going to do It since I am not going to be cheated by this scam of a company....

the lack of knowledge from your Customer Service and Credit Counselling department is extremely frustrating it seem as though they're reading from a script and cannot deviate to provide any real needed information it's as if they are heartless and unconcern. I know that each of your reps get paid by the hour and seem to only be concerned about that i'm disputing my monthly fee with my bank and demanding a refund for what has yet to be explained to me about my service

Horrible company. They won't let you cancel online and when you call to cancel, even if you have the rest of the month paid for in advance, they will not let you use it unless you call back. Obviously they're trying to hope that you won't call back in time to cancel and get the charge for another month. Complete waste of time and horrible customer service. Better to choose another company.

I signed up for this service to work with an attorney to resolve some credit issues. I cancelled my membership and they continued to charge my account. I was supposed to be refunded within 7-10 business days. This never happened. When I called and inquired, I was advised the refund was never processed. Now I have to wait another 7-10 business days. Overall, horrible customer service and an awful experience in working with this company.

I've not had any problems with the company...however, I just canceled my service with them and even though they just debited my account for $16.95 I was told I would not be able to access anything for the rest of the month. Umm...ok...you can charge me for an entire month but I can't view anything the rest of the month? AND you aren't going to refund me? That's excellent customer service and business practices!! **sarcasm**

If I could give 0 stars I would. Wanted to cancel and wouldn’t refund the payment that was just processed, even though the representative has told me he can see I’m not using their services. Then tried to offer me the same membership $15 cheaper than what I was paying.

I was never able to log in to my account. I had someone else’s security questions linked to my account. I called to correct it twice. Both times I was told it had been fixed. Still I was never able to log in to my account. At almost $20/mo, the least I expected was to see my credit scores. Went with a less expensive, efficient company.

Hi Julie, we've reviewed your account and it looks like you've been a customer with us since 2016. In the time you've been with us we show that you've logged in multiple times. In September of 2017 you did have an issue resetting your password and were presented with the security question for your account. The incorrect answer was given and with the help of customer service, your security questions were reset and you logged in successfully. In December we're showing that you had an issue pulling an Equifax credit report due to Equifax requiring a previous address to verify your identity and pull the correct data. We at that time gave you an additional free credit report. We are still showing that you have an active account with us. We do show that you still have an open account with us. Please let me know if any of the information that we are showing is incorrect. I'm sorry your experience over the past couple years hasn't been what you were looking for. We'd love to keep you as a customer, please let us know what we can do to make it happen.

I think credit karma is definitely way better than this and it's free. Called to cancel on the 15th of the month and had a charge on the 16th. They said it had gone thru on the 14th and they couldn't refund it so apparently I paid for the whole month but can't even use it or get my money back. What a scam.

This company is a scam. We got a simple report from a credit repair company and never signed up for services, and then Identity IQ thought they would just charges our cars for monthly services we never signed up for or authorized!

Wanted to check my credit score and did I make a mistake. Identityiq is a joke. Tried to cancel twice and still getting charged. Reports are outdated all the time and worthless as in some cases there 4 months old. Can not see why anyone would use this site.

Identity IQ, is a company based on stealing peoples money by gathering your bank account information from unknown sources, that they will not revile no matter how many times you request and put you on automatic draw till you take a notice.

Credit scores are not accurate. They use the Vantage score and not the Fico Score. Very few lenders use the Vantage Score. Vantage Scores can be obtained for free through Credit Karma.

Horrible service. Credit scores are 40 to 50 points off and when I asked for a refund because I was denied a loan they told me too bad. Why would they even bother giving a credit score when it's lightyears away from reality?

Hi Larry, we are sorry to hear you were turned down for a loan. Our Credit Scores are provided to us directly by the Credit Bureaus. There are many different scoring models on the market and each lending institution can choose which scoring model they prefer to use. As stated throughout the website, IdentityIQ provides the Vantage 3.0 Score. Hope this helps clear up any confusion regarding credit scores. Best of luck.

This company charged my card 3 times in a 20 day period for $ 21.99 that's supposed to be a monthly fee, not weekly. Breach of contract. I want a refund or the lawyers will be contacting you.
