As a retired chief of police and now owner of my own security consulting firm I am never surprised at the lengths criminals will go to in order to steal what someone else has worked hard to achieve. I consult in various countries of the world and when I travel I need to know that my information is totally secure. I not only trust Lifelock with my information but my wife's as well and I recommend it to my clients. When I have had a concern, Lifelock has responded quickly. When my computer was hacked in the Middle East, I immediately checked and all my financial data was secure. I appreciate the sex offender notifications and I pass along some of the tips Lifelock provides for staying secure to my family and friends. The adage, the best offense is a strong defense is true and in today''s world, there is no stronger defense than Lifelock.

When I lost my wallet in another county, it contained my Driver's License, credit cards, and $100 in cash. I immediately called Lifelock®. In the meantime, I received a call from a Police Department saying my wallet minus the cash was found by a senior citizen and turned in to the Police. I was fortunate to get my Driver's License returned but Lifelock took care of everything else; I did not need to contact anyone. It confirmed dramatically why I am firmly committed to such a wonderful company who's Customer Service is always helpful and kind. Those little things mean much in a world where it sometimes seems there are fewer good Samaritans each year.

I keep a pretty low profile online and never felt I was a high risk for identity theft because I live in a small town and am pretty conservative with what I do online. Filling out all the information for Lifelock was not easy, but thought I would rather have the people protecting my identity have the same information that would be thieves might have. So far I am impressed and feel like I did a very proactive thing.

First of all, I do not know WHICH LifeLock Service I'm using or exactly how long I've been a member. Don't you know? Five years ago someone accused a gal of trying to steal my identity. She didn't and it turned out to be that same person (insurance guy) who caused . . . what turned out to be . . . a HUGE MESS for me. He was too lazy to use the correct vehicle driver's license number in an accident report and then he continued to lie about it to me and others, including the police. It was I who had to deal with the aftermath and clear it all up; now having LifeLock I feel secure about a lot of things. Thank You LifeLock!

I was notified by Target that my credit card information was obtained from Target in the well-known hacking scheme last year. I contacted LifeLock immediately and they placed a special alert on any unusual activities involving my credit cards or banking business. I also contacted all my credit companies, but I felt secure knowing LifeLock would question anything performed on any of my credit or banking activities at a time when banking and credit card activities were especially busy and hard to keep up with - the holidays! LifeLock was responsive and proactive regarding my concerns. I sleep better knowing LifeLock is always watching out for me.

Someone tried to open a PayPal Credit Account using my information. LifeLock caught this activity and notified me by email. I then communicated with LifeLock on the phone. They even set up a conference call with PayPal Credit so I could talk to them directly. LifeLock then contacted all three credit bureaus, helped me get credit reports to review activity, contacted the Federal Trade Commission on my behalf and a host of other "little" things that needed to be done to protect my good credit. It all took a few days and the process was annoying, but the annoyance was better than a stolen identity.

On December 15, 2014, someone tried to order a computer thru Paypal and open a cc with Academy Sports in my name. They had all of my personal information: SS#, DOB, Address, etc. Thanks to LifeLock they were "locked" out. The specialist also helped me get the accounts closed with the creditors. I would not have known until I received the bills and there is no telling how much damage they would have caused. Thank you LifeLock!

I didn't know that I would ever need those services. I signed just in case several years ago. Amazingly someone stole my identity and applied for a service. LifeLock called me the same day . It didn't take long for the whole process filing the claim and other forms. It was scary to think that somebody has all my information and can do lots of harm to me. Thankfully LifeLock saved the day. Thank you

When I first enrolled with LifeLock, the gentleman who was helping me inadvertently transposed some of the numbers in my SS # and I started receiving several alerts and warnings for someone else. This was very alarming so I called LifeLock to find out what was going on with my account and during the security question check, as well as being asked for my social security number, the mistake was discovered and immediately corrected. I have not received any more such alerts and warnings but am very pleased with the monitoring of all my accounts and sleep a little better knowing LifeLock is constantly protecting me as much as possible from identity theft. Sometimes you wonder if services like Lifelock actually work. I had recently moved and needed furniture right away. I opened a credit account at the furniture store and before I finished speaking with the salesman about my new account I had received an alert text message on my phone from Lifelock. While I was typing in my text response on my phone I received an actual phone call from a Lifelock representative who was making sure it was me opening the new account. Both I and the furniture salesman were amazed at the speed! He said that he would be signing up for a Lifelock account that same day for himself. It works!

I would not be without Lifelock. This past summer our vacation would have been ruined if it had not been for Lifelock. While out of state I received an email asking if I was trying to get a loan. I was not and said so - someone was trying to use my SS# to obtain a loan. The most comforting words in the world were " we are taking care of it" - and a few days later "it's taken care of". The alert of a fraudulent Telco account worked as promised and the technician who contacted the carrier on my behalf did an excellent job for me. I expect to continue with the service in the future. Having said that, it would be beneficial to get some assistance on where to go from here. Is there any way to get my ssn removed from the internet, or is there a way to get this changed since its been compromised? Lifelock only went so far, but the job is not finished, my information is still compromised and there is no clear path to a resolution other than to deal with these alerts as they come up instead of finding a way to eliminate the problem entirely.

I recently asked why my husband and I had to have separate accounts considering we both use the same accounts for all of our financial transactions. You explained that because we have different SS numbers and birth dates, it is necessary to have separate LifeLock accounts. My husband and I are both 75 years old and on fixed incomes. I would think that LifeLock would consider this and devise a way for seniors to have the protection we need but at a cost that is affordable. To upgrade to a better program would require one of us to cancel our membership which we don't want to do. Your reply would be appreciated.

After my identity was stolen almost 4 years ago, we continue to have the occasional fraudulent applications for loans, charge cards, utility services, cellphones, and once a fraudulent tax return filed. We enrolled in Lifelock after the tax return incident, and have been so glad we did! It is great to have a heads up on a problem before the collection agencies contact us. We will be keeping Lifelock from now on.

Since November 1st, I have had my identity compromised 4 times. After the first incident, November 2nd of last month, my husband and I decided to call LifeLock. This has proven to be the one of the best decisions we've ever made! LifeLock has caught all of these attempts to use my name and information in fraudulent activities. contacted by lifelock that a payday loan company in Texas was processing a loan in my name. I had not applied for any funds from anyone. When lifelock notified me I was able to stop the loan process. Lifelock also informed me how to notify transunion to get my name on a 3 month fraud notification and with a police report I could be on a fraud notification with the 3 credit reporting agencies for 7 years! Lifelock did a fantastic job, saved me money and made it possible to maintain my credit rating. Excellent work from an excellent company!

My identity continues to be used by someone that obtained my social security #, name and date of birth. This has happened about 7 times over the past 4 years. They have obtained pay day loans, free cable TV, free cell phone service and home phone service all in my name. LifeLock notified me of these each time and helped resolve the problem with the companies involved and with the credit bureaus. It is all a pain to handle, but much easier with LifeLock. Glad to have them on my side!

Life Lock sent me an alert that someone had applied for a credit card using my name and SSN. I called Life Lock and she put in a call to the bank. With myself, Life Lock, and the bank on the phone together, we got the situation settled and the bank said they would put in a Fraud Alert to the credit bureau. Thanks to the Life Lock representative for her patience in coordinating with the bank and myself for a solution. John Persons

I had money stolen from my checking account so someone could enjoy a dating site. It was rediculous and I felt violated. My uncle advised me to get LifeLock and I took his advice. Thanks! I over-reacted a bit when I realized someone had used my debit card. I reported that it had been compromised. I didn't mean to give the impression my whole wallet had been stolen. There perhaps should be one extra option to click for clarity's sake. I checked my bank account this morning, which I normally check daily. I discovered a transaction I did not make. My bank helped me stop the pending transaction right away. I called LifeLock too and other businesses I use. It took half a day but was worth the effort. I haven't been a member 1 full month yet. I imagine the number was stolen online, as my computer is quite aging now. I blocked the use of that card. I'm sure LifeLock will help me if there is more I need to do.

I signed up for LifeLock after being a victim of the Target Data Breach. I received a phone call telling me I had applied for a loan when I had not (and told them if they let the loan go through it would not be repaid by me) and then LifeLock found an address in New York associated with me-I was able to protect my information and I know that only legitmate applications made by me have been able to go through. I am renewing when my subscription expires.

A few days ago I was contacted by LifeLock telling me that my social security number had been used to try to open a new credit card at Sears. Since I had not initiated the request, LifeLock contacted Sears and launched an investigation. Today I was contacted to give me assurance that Sears had refused the credit card and that none of my other information had been compromised. I appreciate LifeLock's prompt attention to this matter!

I was very happy Life Lock caught this activity of someone opening a credit card, that was not me. They did not just call once, they called twice, text twice, and emailed twice! I am a teacher & not able to answer calls quickly, but they kept trying until they reached me. I was relieved to get all the notifications! It saved me A LOT of headsches, I'm sure. Within 5 or 6 business days they contacted me again with the credit card company to resolve the whole issue Thank you!! Lisa Mason A VERY satisfied customer!!

One of those things you don't like to get, but comforting to Know Life Lock has you covered. The alert from Life Lock notified me that someone was attempting to open a credit card account in my name. Life Lock followed up with the bank, initiated the call and I was able to confirm with the bank that I had not applied for a credit card. Also got good advice from Life Lock concerning contacting the credit agencies. Cold not ask for better service. Don

I'm a huge fan of Lifelock. I've heard alot about it and when I purchased a home with all the added accounts that had to be set up I knew I needed more security for my identity and my assets. Lifelock takes care of it all - and its so easy to navigate the site, customer service is incredible. I felt like I was the ONLY person they had to talk to the day I called. I am planning on upgrading to Lifelock Ultimate Plus to have even more ways to stay safe and secure. In this day and age; who can be too careful? Not me!

Jennifer, my Lifelock Representitive was extremely helpful. She contacted the companies corporate office (while I was on the other phone line) in regards to my two-year-old and someone utilizing her social security number to open up an account with their information attached. Not only was Jennifer very professional, she utilized her resources to assist me to the best of her capabilities. Because of Jennifers help, I was able to get to the bottom of what happened and why it looked like someone was using my daughter's Social Security number illegally. Thankfully this time it was a mechanical error, but it could have been something else - something much worse - and I would have known about it right away thanks to LifeLock. After going through this experience, I know that I won't have to worry if anyone is trying to steal my daughters, or anyone else in my families personal information for identity theft.

I receive Life Lock Alerts by text and email. Recently there were several in one day from a company unrecognized and it was quite alarming. Life Lock launched an investigation, had the results in less than 24 hours turning out to be noting harmful at all...it was an amazing RELIEF. You don't have to pay bills or do much of anything through the Internet, but we are all affected by it anyway every time we use credit or debit cards. My identify belongs to me and no one unscrupulous is going to come along and take my identify and what I've worked hard to gain and it's not a lot, but it is mine. I'm not sure how Life Lock does it, but they are THE BEST OF THE BEST in Identity Theft Protection. Thank you, Life Lock!

When someone hacked our Social Security numbers on the IRS website we thought our lives would never be the same. When speaking with the IRS agent on the phone I happened to mention that we were Llfelock members. He breathed a sigh of relief and told me that was the best money I have ever spent and that our case would be handled so much better with LIfelock in our corner! I never imagined how frightening this kind of thing could be. To have Lifelock in our corner when in addition our state tax and revenue dept said we owed them thousands of dollars when we did not, was a huge relief. This is the best investment ever! Now our IRS tax return has been sent to us and we are in the process of resolving the state issues with the assurance that with Lifelock we are not alone in this! Thank you Lifelock for everything!!

Recently, I received an alert from LifeLock which indicated that someone had attempted to use my information to open a credit card account. The information that I received from LifeLock, via both email and phone messages, was extremely helpful. I quickly responded and identified the application as being fraudulent. Lifelock followed up and coordinated a call between myself and the lender. As a result the application was refused and the fraudlulent submission will be expunged from my credit report. In addition, I was given excellent advice on how to submit a fraud alert claim to the three major credit reporting companies. I was vacationing in the Dominican Republic when I received a text message on my cellular phone from LifeLock alerting me that someone had applied for a credit card in my name in the United States. I called LifeLock's emergency number, they assured me and took care of it. I relaxed and enjoyed my vacation. It was so great and comforting to have LifeLock on my side.

Some individuals stole mail from my mail box and then starting using my identity and the numbers they stole. They destroyed my credit, soiled my financial integrity and my name was used by someone in Georgia and I live in Utah. Needless to say, I needed help. I was watching a College Football game and an ad for Lifelock was shown. I immediately investigated through the Web; what Lifelock was, how others perceived it, and even the negative comments. I found few negative comments, a solid company and one that I hoped I could trust. I started slow in adding simple accounts and after a time, I added all of them. Lifelock saved my financial and identity problems. I do not have anymore problems. My credit is now coming up and I could not be more confident with their abilities. Thank you Lifelock

I was contacted by Lifelock in regards to someone trying to sign up for a landline through Verizon with my SS# and DOB. I would have had no idea that was happening until it was too late if it wasn't for LifeLock. Lifelock called Verizon with me on the other end to dispute the fraudulent request. It all took about 10 minutes. I am very pleased and am happy to have Lifelock on my side.

I was a victim about a year ago. After dealing with the issue I called LifeLock and started their protection. Until about a week ago nothing happened but in the past week I have had 5 attempts to open credit cards in my name. Lifelock alerted me and within a day had me on the phone with the creditors to ensure these fraudulent applications were stopped and my credit protected. I am beyond thankful for Lifelock!

Recently contacted by LifeLock notifying me that there was somebody using my information on applications for merchandise, LifeLock totally took control and did and are still making things right protecting my identity. When I heard from the IRS that I had filed my taxes on January 1 and was due a nice refund and that they were just letting me know that the refund would be along soon a sense of panic settled over me. After all when my identity was stolen two years ago all I had to deal with was a few charges that were taken care of and a continual denial that it was me trying to open those charges, But a tax return? Well Jennifer at LifeLock calmed me down and took me through the procedures and I came out the other end of the process intact and feeling very good. Love my LifeLock. Dan

Services have been great so far except one area. I am supposed to be alerted every time more than 200 has been charged. We charged several things, one 750,00, one 299.00 and several others. We were not alerted about them. If you say you are going to do something... do it... or don't say it. We are paying for specific important services. The only reason I am so concerned is we were identity fraud victims in the past. I just want to stay on top of it. You helped get to the bottom of it and I was so reassured that we had you on our team! I was in the hospital when we found out and lifelock took care of it. I didn't have to lay up there and worry. This is one of those rare companies that does exactly what they say they will do. Spend what ever it takes to protect your identity, and if needed, repairing it. When my wife had her identity stolen, and our checking account hacked, they immediately did everything needed to repair our credit, get the check verification services in line, and recover our data. This company should be rated higher than a 10!

I was called for a hearing at the courthouse for an infraction that wasnt me. I called lifelock just to notify them of what was happening and they went above and beyond to help. They hired a local attorney to go to court for me, notified all the e credit bureaus of a possible breach in my identification, and offered to reimburse any expense I occurred while dealing with a fraudulent court hearing.. it was all resolved in the end, but the help made the journey through it all much more bearable..

All the representatives I have dealt with have been very helpful. They have called all the necessary agencies with me on the phone to report, close, and notify credit agencies of all fraudulent accounts that were opened using my information. Having the security of knowing I will not be held responsible for any charges made on accounts I did not open is a big relief. It is also great knowing they will walk me through the process of restoring my credit if it was affected in any way by the fraudulent activity, Having to deal with identity theft without LifeLock would have been much more stressful and time consuming.

A week ago I received a Lifelock Alert concerning Verizon account(s) I had not applied for. I responded and was prompted that I would receive another contact from the Lifelock Resolution Center. I received that today. Once again I contacted Lifelock and we together talked to a Verizon representative on the phone. As a result of that conversation, I am to submit a police report with my local police department and send Verizon a copy of the report. I am to receive another contact from the Resolution Center in 3-5 days. The ID thieves apparently have my name, address and Social Security number. Scary. This kind of thing is why I have Lifelock. It remains to be seen how this turns out, but so far, my dealing with Lifelock has been pretty good. I'm counting on Lifelock to protect my personal accounts, credit, etc.

I was very satisfied with the outcome of my "alert" problem. The lady who helped me was courteous and professional. She settled everything to my satisfaction. They said there was a problem with someone using a Citi Bank card of mine. However, I've never had a Citi Bank card. We had a 3-way phone conversation with the Lifelock person and Citi Bank person who determined that it was an error on Citi Bank's customer service's part. The outcome was that No, I never had an account with Citi Bank and no one had tried to open an account in my name.

LifeLock is the best investment I ever made...at the first sign that my identitity had been stolen I purchased Lifelock to guard against future breaches. When another attempt was made a few days after I purchased LifeLock, this time to get cable services in my name, I was promptly notified and services were halted even before they began. A LifeLock representative even called me and together we had a conference call with the cable company to learn further details of the incident; my questions were answered by both the cable company and my LifeLock representative.

It was initially thought that a capital one credit card acct was being opened with my soc sec number. That was disturbing to me, but I had complete confidence that Lifelock would take care of my credit, and fix this credit breach. A very kind, and helpful employee, spent quite a bit of time tracking down the problem, and made sure that my credit was not harmed. It turned out that a Canadian citizen was applying to open a credit card account thru Capital one, in Canada, and has the same Canadian soc sec number as myself, here in the U.S. I feel very relieved, and thankful, that I have Lifelock watching over my financial interests and credit. Thank you Lifelock!

LifeLock sent me on alert about 3 days about my information that was use at a company to open an account. LifeLock started the investigation right away sent me several emails on the progress. And today 10/15/14 LifeLock was able to set up a conference call with the company / LifeLock and myself that activity was shut down LifeLock did an incredible job they took care of everything. The LifeLock representative was very helpful in resolving the question which was perceived to be a fraudulent inquiry to one of my accounts. Lifelock has done an excellent job providing me with the needs my family and I need to ensure our IDTheft needs are taken care of. I am constantly seeing breaches in the news which make me nervous about my identity, it seems places where I use my CC are constantly being breached. Lifelock is the source and service to ensuring it stays safe and my experience with them to this point has been top notch. Highly recommend their service!

I find comfort knowing LifeLock is monitoring my personal information and financial accounts. My credit score went from 763 to 820 simply because LifeLock prevented credit card companies from running my credit worthiness as part of their solicitation to open accounts. Also, I receive far less junk mail. I am very pleased with the services LifeLock and highly recommend their services.

Someone has tried to open brand new accounts in my name using my social security number, The first time was earlier this year. A few weeks ago, someone tried again in two different location and your team caught them again. Within hours, LifeLock resolved the issue before damage was done. I have been a LifeLock customer for several years and thankfully I have thus far been safe. However, what disturbs me is their billing system. Without going into an elaborate description of what happened to me I will quote a comment made to me by one of their customer service representatives, "We do a good job at protecting your identity but our billing department leaves a lot to be desired." I came to this site looking for an alternative to LifeLock because for the past few months they have been very confused and have completely screwed up my billing. Additionally, I recently received incorrect information from one of their supervisors while on the phone attempting to correct the mess they created. Frustrated, I made the comment that my confidence in them has been shaken and asked them who is going to protect me from LifeLock.

Ok, so I finally bit the bullet and signed up after comparing like 5 different identity theft services. I have to say that I am impressed with Lifelock Ultimate. Hopefully, I won't have to use this service, ya know, but i really think I made the right choice over the other companies, although Trusted Id would have saved me a couple bucks and seemed pretty good too.
