There was a miscommunication but I got happy with the effects in the long run. I needed a leaking tube in my roof so I named that Thursday and advised Home Service club essentially what my difficulty was. An tech called and guaranteed ahead out that evening but never arrived and never known as again. The very next day I called HSC and explained, "Hey, I certainly have not heard again from the contractor that guaranteed ahead out yesterday". So HSC dispatched someone else by Friday from the local company plus they were fantastic. He saw that which was wrong, the fact that pipe wore away and he explained how to proceed and then Mon he'd be again. That quit the damage therefore i was pleased with that. Mon he returned and repaired it. Good Support!

I had two toilets in my house that was having a clog, probably because of my 4 year old son who loves to put some tissue there. I logged in to HSC to place a service and within 5 hours of waiting, someone is already outside our house and told me that he was the plumber who HSC sent to us. I was pretty disappointed since the plumber did not tell us he was going to come on that day. So we had to cancel our plans!!! He fixed it the toilet but took him around 3 hours. We never made it to our party. Next time, please tell your techs to inform us before coming over, we may have appointments to go to!!! ****** QUICK UPDATE****** On a trip business trip right now and I just got called by HSC. They reached out and apologized for the actions of the tech sent to us. They asked me for a schedule where a new plumber can check out my unit just to make sure everything is up to standard. I was really impressed with how they handled it. Very professional and swift! They really do listen to their clients. And with that, I upgraded my rating. Kudos to your customer service, this has redeemed my trust on you guys. At least i have your staff that i can count on for any issues with the techs assigned for our house repairs. I'm hoping for a better service next time around. Now, i can go on with my business trip with peace of mind.

Updated rating since issue was eventually resolved. Received a call from Taylor regarding compensating us for an out of pocket service call. Happy to say it has been resolved. Home service club covering monthly premium up to the cost of the repair. We're pleased with the outcome. Horrible customer service. Don't use this company. Issue with Refrigerator elevated to a supervisor. Waiting over a week for resolution. Still cannot log in online to account and phone hold time ridiculous. I find it extremely suspicious that they get a bunch of 5 star reviews the day. I honestly think they are somehow submitting their own reviews. How can the experiences I've had several times, (long holds, no response, vendor refusing to accept ticket, etc), be so totally opposite the 5 star "reviews ". It seems they monitor the reviews, maybe I'll get a response now.

I recently had to use my home warranty to fix an AC issue. In the beginning it was very frustrating trying to get through to anyone from the customer service department and was put on hold for lengthy amounts of time. Finally, I had a supervisor, Taylor, reach out to me who was able to completely solve the issues I was previously experiencing with the direct line for customer service. She also informed me that they were in the middle of changing call centers and have been experiencing difficulty in their transition, understandable. Most importantly, she was able to get a contractor out quickly and I now have cold AC again! Special thank you to Taylor!

I have been a Home Service Club policyholder for nearly two years. The company provides decent home warranty coverage for relatively affordable policies. I've a had a couple of claims for my washing machine (granted that it was close to 20 years old), the latter of which hit a snag because of an unreliable vendor. While the issue was outside of the company control, it probably needs to do a better vetting of their vendors/contractors. Also, telephone customer service representatives need to be retrained or empowered with more authority to deal with claims. Overall, HSC and its management were very courteous and professional in solving the issue, and I felt that the company values its customers.

UPDATED: 6/5/19 After posting my review, I immediately received a call from a Taylor S who is a Senior Supervisor at HSC. I spoke to her about my frustrations and my outstanding dishwasher claim. She jumped right on it. Taylor kept me in the loop everyday and went out of her way to make sure I understood the process of replacing my dishwasher. Not only did she email but she also wasn't afraid to pick up the phone and call me. Whenever she told me she would call me back, she did. Taylor's customer service skills and etiquette are impeccable. I'm extremely pleased with the service. HSC has earned my trust.

Update: this was resolved by a supervisor (Lori). ---- Pretty bad. It's been 48 hours since I raised a service request and no one has called me back yet. Try calling their customer service line as a customer trying to talk to a customer service agent. Impossible that you will get to anyone. Fake company with a satellite office in NY that is just their to take customer's money

Washer was not releasing the water aftering the washing phase. Have been manually getting the water out of the machine to proceed to the drying phase (which is working perfectly fine). Repair guy fixed the water releasing problem but drying is not working. Had to have 4 more sessions to fix the issue. I hope the kind HSC agent did not go deaf from all my complaining.

Repair man did a very big help today. He fixed my AC in just an hour or two. The customer rep I've talked to was also very courteous. Very professional service. It took quite long to get the serviceman to my doorstep but that is just the way things are i guess. There's still room for improvement

Dishwasher was not working well one night. I submitted a claim online and the HSC sent a tech guy after two days. Quite fast. The fellow was early and fixed my unit in less than an hour. He also told me to clean it regularly.

The sprinkler at home was malfunctioning. Part was not sprinkling water and the other part did not have enough pressure to spritz water. I had them checked and so filed a claim to the Home Service Club. Fast transaction. The tech guy they sent was very good. Even the rep had a follow-up call to check.

My washing machine won't shut off even if I pushed the button (on/off), I had to unplug it directly. Filed a claim for it on HSC, and they were very helpful in fixing it. I could see that they were patient with me and very kind.

The pool pump was not running and this could cause our pool to turn green. Filed a claim with HSC and the tech guy they sent told me that it wasn't the pump but I had and electrical issue. It took about two days since it was a different problem but they were so fast and quick. Everything is fine now. Contratctors were great.

I've been with HSC just this year. Prior to HSC, I tried other home warranties but only HSC had quality service. From submitting a claim to having the contractors come and fix, all were so smoothly done. They are very professional and easy to talk to. Should have picked HSC a looooong time ago!!
