Originally I had some trouble with Old Republic and the contractor they sent to fix my HVAC. However, Old Republic AND the contractor have made things right and our home warranty policy with them has saved me $7000 dollars.
In the end, the policy has proven to be a great investment. I would only say this, ask questions and know exactly how things work when you make a claim BEFORE you have a problem. They are not good at explaining their process which can be really painful to go through when you have a house without heat or a refrigerator that's not working.

Old Republic was fair in my experience. They offered low rates and did not try to fight me on claims that were made.
