WARNING: SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S A SCAM. DO NOT GET SEDUCED BY THE SALESMEN'S SWEET TALK. ALL ARE LIES. Once you sign up and you call, a remote call center answers your phone call or when you go online and request for service, you will get a Ticket #....that's it, nothing else happens. There's no claims department, no billing department, no superviser/manager. The only thing available is customer service and all they can do is to file a ticket. Until now, I've been told to have 10 tickets opened marked as urgent with no contact whatsoever. I paid $450 and when I asked to raise a claim, I was told an urgent ticket has been opened and someone would contact me. But no one ever contacted me. If you ask for superviser or something different, they would just hug up on you. This seems like the usual practice from this company. I regret that I didn't read the reviews earlier. I have already complaint to BBB and waiting for their action. This is the worst Home Warranty Company I have encountered in my life. They should be immediately shut down.

I have totally had it with Lifetime Home Warranty! I signed up because it had good reviews. I do not know how that happened because they have probably the very worst customer service as any business I have dealt with! I have made numerous calls and sent numerous messages asking to speak with someone about this to no avail. The only thing customer service reps can do is write up what they call a “ticket” that they send to someplace. They cannot transfer a call and cannot provide anything else except a ticket. Thoroughly disgusted, I asked that my contract be cancelled to which I was sent a message saying my contract is “non-cancelable”. The clause from the contract they quote has no words to that effect, yet gives detailed instructions for doing so before and after 30 days of purchase. They will not call to talk to me about it, nor will they simply cancel. DO NOT contract with them!

the worse company ever. after they refused to fix the issues which was covered, they failed to respond to numerous tickets. nobody calls after the ticket was created. After requested to cancel the policy due to it was still within 30 days, they decided to send the technician. however, the problem was already fixed by us out of pocket. I had to send them a certified letter requesting cancelling the policy and refunding me the money. My account was deleted but I did not get any money back yet. I notified my credit card to get the charge disputed and I submitted to the BBB the poor review too. Stay away from them!!!!!!

Customer service stinks. They do not return calls. It's an answering service. They billed my credit card the end of May. Effective date of policy is 7-14-22 but I cannot get a hard copy of the policy because I don't have a printer. They have promised and 30 days later and several phone calls still no policy. Scared to death what the service will be if there was an actual claim. I want a phone call from them and I want my card credited.

STAY AWAY! Terrible company that is not honest. They signed me up & said I had to wait 30 days before using the policy and then when I filed a claim fir my dishwasher leaking water all over the floor I got an electronic message saying “leaks aren’t covered”. I was promised a “Free pest service” and it took almost 3 weeks of me calling & repetitively asking for the pest service to just get the pest service scheduled. I’m asking for a policy cancellation Primarily due to lack if coverage for basic home services. It is impossible to reach a human with this company once they take your money. I’ve never encountered a home warranty company this shady, untrustworthy and just downright unethical! I’d give -10 (thats’s a NEGATIVE 10) if possible

I paid $699 for annual agreement on 04/12/2022. I opened the first claim (#608663-1664) for air-condition maintenance online on 05/30/2022 and I did not hear back from them. I then called the warranty company and was told by customer service that they technician would call me back as soon as possible. We live in Texas, and it was more than 100 degrees. We keep calling back and getting different agents and they kept opening new tickets and telling me manager would call us back as soon as possible. When I realized this company could be a fraud, I called the technician and hired someone and fixed the issue and paid out of pocket $300. After that I start demanding for my money back as per warranty contract and they said it was approved and check has been mailed. It has been several weeks, and we still have not received any money back. I call again and send messages, but no respond please be alert

I would like to give them zero or less if I could. This company is scam. The only thing that is good about it is When They Fool You and take your money. After that, they just creat ticket number and says “some one be with you shortly”. It takes three months that I try to cancel my contract. The story is, after one month, I decided to cancel my contract. At the time they charged me $200. I request to cancel the contract. I keep calling everyday for month, they said some one call you shortly. They charged me $200 more. I called my credit company and filed dispute. And keep calling. They charged me $200 more. After they charged me all the money for one year, they e Mail me and stated, your contract is not cancellable and gave me a code. During the sell the representative told me you can cancel any time. Then it was my time to trick them. I called and pretended that I want to buy a contract, I told him, do you record this conversation, he said no. Then I said for my record, I record it. As usual they offer me the price and explain the the coverage very nicely and they said you can cancel any time. Then I said “. You e mailed that my contract is not cancellable and you do not want to refund my money, Now I have a good tool to take a legal action. They hang up immediately. I CALLED AND E MAIL THEM AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUE. They called and e mailed me indicating that we cancelled the contract and you will received your money. So far I did not get any money back. But my credit. company stop the payment. One more issue.....after they e mailed me that we cancelled the contract, they clean and erased all my correspondence. However, I copy all e mailed before they clean the file. They are scam, thieves...... Do not buy the contract, please please....

TRIED TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS BY SWITCHING WARRANTY COMPANIES. HUGE MISTAKE!!! HUGE!!! AHS REPLACED MY A/C, HEATING SYSTEM, SEPTIC PUMP, HOT WATER HEATER (2) ALL IN THE 6 YEARS I HAD THEM. I HAVE AN ELECTRICAL WIRE ISSUE AND LIFETIME WARRANTY WONT EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM. I'M NOT AN ELECTRICIAN I MIGHT NOT EVEN BE EXPLAINING IT RIGHT. AHS ALWAYS SENT SOMEONE OUT TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM. IF IT WASNT COVERED I WAS OUR $100. RIGHT NOW THIS COULD BE COVERED BUT THE EMAIL I GOT FROM THEM SAID. The agents Tom, Mike and Peter will be superb on the phone while making the warranty sale. They will tell you everything you want to hear, but let me tell you, ITS ALL LIES!!!! I signed up with a almost 4 year, $1377 contract through them. We recently purchased our home and they promised as opposed to most “ other” warranty companies , since it was a newly purchased home we will not need records of proof as the seller did not provide them. The agents stated we just had to wait the 30 days before a claim can be submitted. Once an issue came up, it was nothing but trouble from this company . The agents will not answer text, email, or phone calls at all. When calling the company all they will do is submit a claim ticket and have someone call you back in 48 hrs. Which they won’t do either . When an issue arises, it needs to be dealt with immediately, not in a couple days or when they see fit. After multiple calls, texts and huge amounts of “ call back claims” , no I’m still to this day has called me back . They offer FREE months of service for 5 star reviews , and censor anyone with an actual review or service after they sign up. That’s why every review says their sales team is great, cause they hide any ACTUAL REVIEW . Still dealing with this company and waiting to hear back from an actual person to TRY and resolve why their agents lied about coverage and showed me 1/8 of the ACTUAL contract before signing up, then the full contract once signed . This is a FRAUDULENT COMPANY and BBB complaints have been filed. If you read this please BEWARE OF THIS SCAM OF A company. Once posted , I am sure I will FINALLY get something back from this scam of a company . Horrible company Horrible company. It’s all a scam don’t believe what they tell you! They are super nice to get you to sign up…but are never there to help when you actually have a claim to file. The absolute worst! I can’t believe how unreliable they are after so many messages, calls. Even there customer care number shows "U SAVE CAR RENTALS" - Are you kidding me LOL - don't you even have a phone number registered to your company - This shows their standings. Save yourself frustration and never deal with lifetime home warranty, they will burn you. They will not keep their promises and they will not act to protect your property in a timely and reasonable manner. Always be weary of companies who don’t let their product speak for itself. I will send the request for cancellations in email as mentioned in their contract and also dispute through my CC company. Beware everyone..

This company does not even deserve 1 star. There is nothing to like about this company. I have been waiting for one week for someone to get back to me about servicing my central air unit. I have called several times a day and all I have gotten from customer service, a supervisor of customer service and the agent, Peter C (that's if that's even his name) that has signed me up is, "I am so sorry, but someone will call you back." To date I have not even received a courtesy call. I have explained to everyone that I spoke with that I live in Georgia where the humidity is unbearable and my husband has a breathing problem. After reading other reviews, I see that this is their modus operandi. They take your money and do not provide a service. There is not even a corporate number for this company, just an 800 number which is useless. I will contact other agencies about them. They need to be put out of business. Please someone do something so that this does not keep happening to people. The sad thing is that they have not stopped taking my money. They are scammers. This is the worst company that I have dealt with, but it is not over until the fat lady sings!!!

FRAUD COMPANY !! BEWARE !! CHEATERS & LIERS. Cannot trust a single word of Micheal and Tom So called Customer Account Mgrs .... NO Guarantee on their services. No Cancellation/refund as promised if your dont like the policy. No response from their 800 number. It goes to voice mail. They block your numbers. I am not sure how to stop this fraud company. Finally I got them on call by saying I want a new policy and then he took my policy number and put my call on hold and never returned. I lost 2000$. BEWARE GUYS. Who ever wants the emails and receipts and the complete conversations, Get in touch with me.

absolutely frustrating! Most of the reviews were about how pleased people were about the agents explaining the program. I relied on that and signed a contract. But service after the sale, forget it! I tried to enter a "ticket" (problem) on line and had trouble doing so. I called 3 times one day and always was promised that someone would call back. I called the next day and even asked for the agent, Tom H, to call me. He never did. 4 calls and no results. When I spoke to someone it seemed they had to read off of a script in order to answer my question . I would definitely cancel my contract if it didn't mean my losing some money!

This company is dishonest! Do not do business with them! I’m going to share this on all social media accounts and make sure all my contacts know that they are dishonest scammers! Their sales rep pushes for you to pay for the full year in advance in two payments with the promise that you will get two extra months of service for free. We paid for the full year of service in two installments. Service was supposed to be active 30 days later after signing up for the plan. 2.5 months after we activated the account out hot water heater started going out. Running out of water quickly. We called in a claim and were told To select two service dates for a technician to come out to our house within 4 business days. We never got a call to schedule an appointment. Finally after calling them several times for over a week they told us to hire our own appliance repair man and that they would reimburse us UP TO $150 after we paid to have the water heater fixed out of our pocket. That’s not what we paid for. The service call deductible was supposed to be $65 and then they would fix the appliance. We went without hot water for weeks waiting for them and finally got fed up and purchased a new hot water heater and installed it ourselves. The phone support is terrible. They say they will respond within 24-48 hours and they never call back. You have to call them and harass them. The other thing that I think is really really dishonest is that when you go to their website to file a claim, they require you to write a review before they ever talk to you. That’s why they have so many good reviews. No one it going to write a bad review on a company that they want to come fix their appliances when they have never delt with the company before. My husband canceled the service plan and asked for a refund as promised. After getting the run around several times with no solution, he got a hold of a customer service rep. The rep told my husband that they have NO RECORD of our account!!! They deleted it and all correspondence. Looks like we are out $490, because they clearly have no intention of giving us a refund!!

Two policies, two claims, both urgent, one is plumbing caused water damage. The other is AC broken. Both cases have been dragging on for more than 2 weeks. Two cases, one in Washington and one in Texas, for both cases, they could not send a technician, just offered the lowest possible amount for reimbursement. No customer care agent, just messaging service taking the call. Multiple tickets created, just no one taking actions or call back. Then they simply marked both claims as Completed. I start thinking this is a fraudulent company with fake reviews. Update May 25: Negative review got their attention - all of sudden, the account manager is now available on a daily basis, sending me a document asking me to remove all negative reviews, otherwise the refund will only be $107 (charging $100 administration fee for canceling). I told them reviews will stay.

There is no option that I could see to cancel online nor over the phone! Reps send you to the online option and there is nothing available to cancel this service. And ONLY AFTER I posted this REVIEW did they send me an email saying they cancelled my contract and the sales rep called and left a message to ask if I needed help, also after this review was posted.. I replied and told him what I said in this review. So, again they are trying say they immediately cancelled my contract. They charged me the $59 monthly premium for April and they haven’t refunded me to date. If a contract is cancelled why did they charge me and keep my money? Yes, they cancelled my contract, but they didn’t inform me until I had already written this complaint and contacted my bank. . Not when I tried to online, unsuccessfully. I actually had to call my bank to stop further recurring charges from being withdrawn from my account since I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone at lifetime to do that for me. They said someone would call me in 24 hours, but no one did. Now they are trying to call me a liar so no one can see my review. No wonder they have such a great ratings. They yank off any bad reviews! What a dishonest company! I would like to see some competent and honest sales representatives. I spoke to 5 or 6 phone reps regarding two repairs we needed and none of them could help me when I had no access to my PC. I kept getting the run around and told someone would call me asap or the next day. No one ever got back to me. This last claim went on for a week and I got nowhere with anyone. The sales rep said exhaust fans were covered. I filed a claim for our exhaust fan that screeched like a banshee when we turned it on. We couldn't use it and were afraid if we did it might catch on fire. The claim was denied, because loud noises aren't covered! It wasn't useable! Our gas company told us the ignitor on our pool heater was not functioning. The sales rep said pool heaters were covered when he gave me the list of items covered. That was false. I was denied for that claim also. We've been paying into this company since before November of 2021 and have gotten nothing but zero for it in return. The customer service is horrendous. We were with another company for 25 years and it was lousy the last few years. But this company that has all these great reviews is nothing but an illusion. It's worse than the other company we had. If there was an option for zero stars I would choose that. Good luck to anyone else that puts their trust in this company. Lets see how honest they are when I submit this. I will be looking to see if it's posted.

Scammed just like all the other 1 star reviews. First time I called the representative said something crazy like I'm just here to answer the phone but can't actually do anything. Go to the web site... They were quick to take my 499 and completely unavailable afterwards. I couldn't even submit a complaint to fbi because they require a "valid" website, however it's a FAKE company and their website is no longer there. The fbi wouldn't even let me speak to a live person so it was like being kicked while I was down. Hope they're in jail and not the grace of God we can get our money back.

If I could I would give them -10 stars...worse company ever!!! I paid $1214 up front for a 3 year contract. I had a claim on 11-19-22, today is 4-12-23 and I still have not received my $245. I have asked to cancel my contract and had my money refunded, and yet nothing has happened! They never answer the phone and the letter I mailed was returned saying undeliverable answer yet it is the correct address! As far as I can tell this is a scam business!

This is a scam. I paid over $2300 for a 6 year warranty contract and had 2 claims that they have not paid in over 6 months Customer service continues to tell me that they will make my claim a priority but I never receive a follow-up. I am even getting continued calls from a repair company that they scheduled and have not been paid as well. There should be a way to fight this scam but hiring a lawyer will cost me more than what I paid and does not ensure I get reimbursed.

I don't know why people are giving this company good reviews. They denied all my request for repair. Did not get reimbursed for a single dollar (yes I didn't even get the so called pre-approved technician fee). Tried to cancel it. Called the dude who reached out twice and never got back to me. I guess they just want your annual premium until you realize how deeply you are screwed when you have to pay everything out of the pocket.

This company is a complete scam! Do not use their services! American Express has blocked their charges which they continue to make and if you complain, then they block your number and you can’t contact them. Scam scam scam, save your money! The number the list on the church is a private party, who said he has received hundreds of calls from people who were being skinny and just like I was.

I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. All reviews that talk about trying to submit a claim are negative. It seems like the only thing they are go at is selling a product they can't deliver. I've been working on a claim for 3 weeks. I have not been able to get effective communication. I had to get my own repairman. then try to send them invoice. I've used their website and IM services and been on hold for hours. I would not recommend this company.

I contacted them for my septic tank and no one called me to get someone out . Then when I contacted my bank for fraud the a guy micheal H called me and told me a check was sent out and I didn't receive it then had me sign a refund form that I get a refund in November. Supposedly it was a check that was sent out December 20th 2022 then they sent the check out 23rd of dec.2022 and still didn't receive it. Everything u call u get a round around ,told someone in accounting will get a hold of you. No one gets ahold of u don't go with this company

You can't have a conversation with those who determine the validity of your claim. WORST home warranty company we have dealt with - in 4 different states. I cancelled my policy with Lifetime Home Warranty on August 18, 2022. The policy was to run until December 19, 2022. I received a confirmation email that said "If any refund amount is due, it will be issued accordingly". I contacted them numerous times regarding my refund and each representative said the issue would be forwarded to the appropriate people. I have had no response from this company.

I have called about 15 times, been told three different times that a service company would be contacting me. Spent almost $70.00 at the laundromat. who will be reimbursing me for this? was told I could call my own technician and be reimbursed, still waiting for that check from my air conditioner. Had a garbage disposal malfunction and they wouldn't send someone out to fix. Left many requests online and called 3rd party Customer service and indicated I would get a call back. we fixed garbage disposal and got our money back thru credit card company and they didn't respond to to credit card company. I believe there is something seriously wrong.

I bought two plans for two homes for two years in July 2022. On August I found out the tenant broke the ice maker for the refrigerator so I filled a claim online and got a reply that they wouldn’t cover it because it was already broken. Well, if I knew it was broken, I wouldn’t get a warranty. They gave me. Run around and sent a Michael H. He said they would refund me but I needed to take my bad review off Trustpilot so I did. I still haven’t received a penny. I am out $1900 so far. Please do not buy a home warranty from them!!!!!!!

I joined and paid for the first month. I NEVER got any info on how to file a claim, or for that matter, how to log in to my account. Fortunately, I signed up with a card I had replaced later, so now they can't collect any more charges. Plus, they don't answer the phone. I spend an hour waiting, but nothing. Absolutely the WORST service I've ever gotten!

After they are so attentive talking you into purchasing a policy that after you pay for it. The email is completely different them what was paid for. They do not let you cancel you policy. I canceled thirty minutes after I purchased the policy. Don't ever try to get in touch with them after the take your money. All you get is music on a hold button for over an hour then get disconnected. They know who is calling because of the caller ID. So they choose to answer new customers and ignore existing. STAY AWAY

BEWARE! If there was “0” rating - this is what they would get…..they are nice to sell you the plan but there be “DENIED” response to your claim!!! BEWARE,!!! REQUEST THE SERVICE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU BUY!!! Check Section V Part F of what is NOT COVERED! which will be the reason they will deny your claim. F.ex. Very disappointed with the company. they lied about what they covered and will not refund my money. i am trying to cancel my policy, and they refuse to refund me. i just purchased the policy in August 2022 and have been trying to cancel since, but I can not speak to anyone who can help. your call goes to a call center, and the people cannot do anything for you other than take a message. do not purchase contracts from them since once they get your money they don't provide service

We filed a claim for our water heater leaking 2xs got the run around!All you can talk to is a call center.After we waited to hear from a technician (still waiting after a week)we replaced the heater ourselves to prevent more water damage from the leak!This place sucks!!!Do your research! I feel scammed and threw 499.00 away I don’t have.Mike & his crew ought to be ashamed!
