I ended up purchasing a Re-Pro Standard plan a few months ago when I moved into my new house. I heard a lot of good things about this company from my friends and was eager to be on a plan like them (peer pressure maybe?) but I ended up being so happy with my plan and I'm lucky to have it because our garage door all of a sudden stopped working and was rusty. They came and promptly repaired/replaced it, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks.

This company is the best. There home warranty plans cover so much and there pricing is very fair. For example I have a standard plan that covers a lot of things like air conditioning, which where I live is very important for it to be working correctly. So when I started experiencing problems with my air conditioning I notified the home service club and they were quick in replying to my request for service and they were very polite and courteous.

I don't want to trust my home to just anybody, and I love that The Home Service Club offers their double guarantee. I never have to worry about a contractor falling through or trying to scam me out of my money. When my AC broke a couple months ago I didn't need to wonder if it would be fixed in days or weeks -- I heard back the same day I called. Great service!

This company has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions -- they work fast to make sure home and appliance repairs go quickly and smoothly. Neither me nor my girlfriend are very mechanically inclined, so when our washing machine broke down, we were scrambling to find help. Her mom recommended this company to us, and we figured they had to be good. So we called them up and they sent out a repair guy to help. He was pretty friendly and good with his hands, cause our washer has been working since. We haven't had any other issues, but we'll know who to call if we do!

We're happy we got our air conditioning issue resolved and extra grateful to Dan who stayed past his working hours to get everything processed and approved and coordinate with the repair tech. It took a couple of days which at this time was not an issue at all but it was all done and working again. he added an extra pad for us and did not charge for it which was really nice. Between the representative from warranty company and the repair tech our claim was resolved to our satisfaction within a few days total.

Don’t believe any good reviews on this company which is also owned by choice home warranty. This company will promise you anything just to sign you up. When the time comes to file a claim, you are at their mercy and their offering to replace something ,that can not be fixed , will only be a fraction of the replacement cost. When it comes time for them to call you back, for get it. They WILL NOT CALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY and time and forget this scamming company

After spending a good week reviewing multiple home warranty plans with several companies and being lied to, I mentioned to the HSC Warranty sales rep that I was quite concerned with the dishonesty and wasting of my time with these other companies who are quick to make false promises to get a sale. The HSC Warranty sales rep assured me this would not be the case, but it actually was the case. I realized after reading the plan, he blatantly lied to me. I made several attempts to complain to his supervisor and the president of the company. Crickets. This company is operating in an unethical manner and doesn't seem to want to make it right. Buyer beware and read the fine print in the plan.

Zero stars is more like it. Terrible customer service. No one answers the phone and the music for holding on can drive anyone crazy. I've been waiting for an answer for a simple dishwasher repair for weeks. Even the service person they sent (Sears) said he has never had as much runaround as HSC has caused. He has been here two times and each time could not contact anyone at HSC to get approval for the parts he needs. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! I am now holding on for the cancellation dept. It's been 15 minutes and no one has come to the phone. I called the sales dept. first since they ALLWAYS answer the phone hoping to get a new customer. aka sucker. Do not use this company. This is not the first claim we've put in with them. This exact thing has happened twice before. We ended up getting our own plumber and paying for the repair ourselves. If you haven't gotten the point up till now - this company sucks.

Try calling their customer service line as a customer trying to talk to a customer service agent. Impossible that you will get to anyone. Fake company with a satellite office in NY that is just their to take customer's money

We are on the other side of fence, we provided immediate service to one of their customers in our area. Took care of their customer got them back up and going through a heat wave. Here we are over 60 days later and can not get a hold of anybody, on hold every time we call for 20 minutes and directed to a mail box to leave a message and no call back, no response to our emails either. We initially turn the company down as we never have luck with home warranties, they called back a couple days later and begged us to take care of their customer and that we did but where is their customer service to us in return to helping them? Very poor service on the contractor side. Update on review: We immediately got a response from the review. So I can say that things have since been taken care of and that is where I will leave it.

We chose HSC when we purchased our new home because of these reviews. Surely they are fake. It has been a week since we called in a claim for our refrigerator and nothing has happened. First they made us send a copy of our home inspection. That was a struggle because they said their computers weren't working. Then nothing happened. A week later I called again and they said our claim was in progress. We've heard nothing! Several calls in to the claims dept and they've promised to call us back and nothing! *** UPDATE*** 8/28/2019 Finally we got hooked up with Taylor at HSC who is a supervisor. They sent a great repair company, Mr. Appliance of Wylie TX. HSC then said the problems with the refrigerator are not covered. Be sure to review their Service contract because there is an encyclopedia of exclusions. Not even the ice maker is covered. Taylor intervened and said that HSC would pay $250 of the $752 repair. They paid the $250 as promised. Also part of the communication problem was that the agents who bought our policy entered the contact info wrong. That was compounded by the fact that HSC's computer system would not save the corrected info on several attempts by their agents. I stayed on the phone with one of their agents for 45 minutes until we finally got the corrected info to save. I'm changing the rating from one star to three.

One spring day, I am mowing our lawn, then suddenly my mow stops functioning. I'm so worried that day. Not to mention, the grasses that as high as a post can be. I tried calling HSC to solve the problem. Which they did. I'm so impressed, for just an hour he managed to made it work again. HSC is really the greatest deal you can have. God Bless HSC.

I am so glad I got HSC. One time when I had problem with my stove and called for a rep to repair it. Within 24 hours a contractor came in and check it. He had to run out to get a certain parts that caused the malfunction. When he returned, he got the stove fixed and working again.

We have exhaust fans all over our washing room. One day all were defective. My dad told me to file a claim to the HSC as they were covered by the plan. The representatives were easy to talk to and skilled. Techs came immediately, promptly. Fixed the fans quickly.

Good thing I had this home warranty. They have very nice reps that are quite rare these days! Recently, I had my dryer unit repaired since it was not drying enough. The contractor they sent said there was something wrong with the exhaust and had it replaced.

The technicians from HSC are so nice and skilled. He noticed that my AC was overdue and recommended me a new Inverter A/C which saves a lot more energy than what I had. I only had to pay a minimum amount for a brand new A/C plus it saves me more money because it consumes less energy. Great recommendation!

I immediately got a response from my concern about my AC. They came and checked it out but it needed a change in parts so we had to order them first. As soon as the parts arrived, the guy came over, and helped install the thing. It was so easy and so fast. Great super service! Very recommended!

I switched recently and HSC was only recommended to me by my old college bunkmate. It has proven itself useful last month when I had a faulty ac unit. Just had to call them and they sent over a repair man. It was however beyond repair so it was replaced by a new unit for a price cheaper than if I bought one for myself.

Good thing I trusted my instinct to get a home warranty plan (and also to chose this company). I recently bought a condo unit and my AC was not cooperating well. I had a hard time figuring it out so I called the HSC. They sent a tech guy and did a wonderful job. Had my unit fixed in no time.

I submitted a claim to the HSC via phone call. After a few hours, a contractor called to set an appointment. A tech guy came and said that it needed parts to be fixed. So he had to come back the next day. He was early and prompt and did a great job with our washing machine.

I had a leak inside my bathroom. I don't know where it was coming from but it was flooding a portion of the room beside it. I had to call the HSC for immediate action. They sent a guy the next day. Quick response! He fixed it. Very pleased with their service.

As a responsible parent, I think having a home warranty is a must. If your are planning to get one, get these guys! I have been calling them frequently now since some of my appliances need to be repaired and maintained. They are professional.
