Been hesistant in getting a home warranty since I've heard some negative stuff from other people. However, a friend of mine recommended the HSC to me. Got them and was actually satisfied. They are very responsive to my concerns and the contractors are very efficient too. A home warranty is something once should get since it is a really good investment. I highly recommend them

One time, my water heater had a leak. Was panicking and worried a lot. My mother reminded me to call and submit a claim to the Home Service Club. We've been with them for a few years already and every time we had an issue at home, they have been nothing but great. They dispatched a contractor at our most convenient time and he fixed it well. They offer quality and excellent service!

I'm partially disabled and there's a lot of stuff that I can't do on my own. When the warranty with the house was getting ready to expire, I started doing some research. I got on the internet, asked for the five best home warranty companies and Home Service Club was one of them. They had the best coverage for the buck, so I picked them and it will be my second year now.

I have been a Home Service Club policyholder for nearly two years. The company provides decent home warranty coverage for relatively affordable policies. I've a had a couple of claims for my washing machine (granted that it was close to 20 years old), the latter of which hit a snag because of an unreliable vendor. While the issue was outside of the company control, it probably needs to do a better vetting of their vendors/contractors. Also, telephone customer service representatives need to be retrained or empowered with more authority to deal with claims. Overall, HSC and its management were very courteous and professional in solving the issue, and I felt that the company values its customers.

An appointment was scheduled the day after I submitted my claim. When the technician arrived he observed my washer and said it needed a new part and that would take about two days to get. Fortunately, he returned later that afternoon and was able to fix it! Wow. I was amazed. He really thought of it. I am very impressed and pleased with how fast he was .

I'm a it's-better-to-be-safe-than-sorry person. So even if I did not have any leaks or damages in the house, I already had the Home Service Club just to be on the safe side of things. Good thing I had them for years coz I needed them when oven was damaged. Fixed it right away! So relieved and happy. their work is pretty fantastic and my oven was back to normal

I had our house for about few decades already. A friend of mine convinced me to get a home warranty for extra protection. So I researched and talked with several companies. I landed with the Home Service Club. I liked their policy better than the others. I used them a couple of times already and was satisfied with every transaction. My clothes washer went bad a while back and when Home Service Club sent out a guy, the gentleman did not have a good attitude. He came and looked at my washing machine for a couple of minutes. He then told me that I have been putting in a little bit too much soap in this type of machine, which requires very little. I told him that I put in a full cap of detergent and that it was what I have always done in my machine. He said that when I do that, the soap gets into the bearings and dry them out, and eventually, things go bad. I said that I would pay attention to that from then on.

We had a technician come out and confirmed that it was a pool pump, and so he replaced it, and they were all paid the service fee. My experience with them went well. They repaired the pool pump and did it within a convenient time without any problems and difficulty. They did a good job and everything is working fine. This past week, I had to have two flush valves replaced and the plumbers did me a really good job.

UPDATED: 6/5/19 After posting my review, I immediately received a call from a Taylor S who is a Senior Supervisor at HSC. I spoke to her about my frustrations and my outstanding dishwasher claim. She jumped right on it. Taylor kept me in the loop everyday and went out of her way to make sure I understood the process of replacing my dishwasher. Not only did she email but she also wasn't afraid to pick up the phone and call me. Whenever she told me she would call me back, she did. Taylor's customer service skills and etiquette are impeccable. I'm extremely pleased with the service. HSC has earned my trust.

All experiences I had with Home Service Club was pretty positive. I had recently had my air conditioning unit for a tune-up. Submitting the claim was easy. Upon the arrival of the tech guy, he knew exactly what to do and troubleshooted with ease. He started looking at my unit and fixed some things for maintenance. The tech was very honest and explained to me in layman's term since I could not understand highly technical things and how they operate. Really appreciated his effort in explaining to me and for maintaining my air conditioner unit. Great job!

Made it easy to deal with them, their communication is top notch. Our CSR made sure we got our work done in a timely manner and called us the day it was due to get our receipt so she could process our reimbursement. No hassle! Very professional!! We will renew!

It was the holidays and timing just sucked coz our toilet and sink just gave up on us! Imagine, with family and friends over for dinner the next day, with no bathroom? It was a disaster. Called these guys right away, and even if it was the holidays, the rep was so polite and actually calmed me down. sent a guy right away, and thanks to HSC, i had a working toilet and sink ready for the family. told this to my family and some of them actually considered to get HSC.

Water was draining so slowly in the bathroom sink and there was a leak when I used my gargabge disposal. Made a request right away with HSC and immediately received a call from the rep to schedule a repair time. They had me scheduled right the next day and a morning appointment which i prefer. the plumber who came was so professional and kind. analyzed the problem rather very quickly. even suggested ideas that would prevent such problem. he fixed it so well. yes, i would recommend HSC to anyone.

They explained their plan to me and it sounded like it’s going to be a pretty good service. It's been 25 days since I've signed up and I haven’t had any claims yet, but they’ve been good so far.

I filed 3 claims and all were resolved in a timely manner. Once service call was even done on a Sunday which made me very happy. On another occasion I placed a claim through email in the morning. I quickly received an email to contact a technician to service my pool filter. My pool filter was serviced that same afternoon. I certainly appreciate the promptness of customer service and through email.

We were having a problem with our washing machine not working properly. It would begin running, stop, then begin again. There also was an odor of something burning throughout the house. It was late Friday when I called Home Service Club to submit a claim. I couldn't believe it when I received a call early the next morning and the service technician was at our house within the hour. However, I neglected to use them for my second home purchase which had high-end appliances. Within a few months my water heater died and I ended up spending more than $2000 to fix it. Lesson learned. I have purchased a home warranty for my new home and will continue coverage.

A drip started coming through the ceiling of our 1st floor on a Sunday morning. The location was directly below a 2nd floor bathroom, so we shut the water supply off to the bathroom and submitted a claim online knowing that no plumber would be available on a Sunday. HSC responded within an hour and the plumber called right away the next morning to schedule a same day diagnosis. The plumber identified the issue that morning and our toilet was replaced and installed on Monday. HSC and the plumber were both very easy to work with. Thank you.

Techs showed up one time, actually about an hour early (he called for an ok), with a mass of equipment and guages. He was ready to check out my system. I got text messages and e-mails telling me status and how ready they were for my problem. They spotted one problem, fixed it and checked out the rest of my system, cleaning the outside condenser with my garden hose. I'm ready for summer now !!! Thanks to the Home Service Club.

They were great. My mom worked a lot when I was younger so every time that the technician showed up to do anything, I was always the one that let them in to do it. Almost every five years, we had an issue with our plumbing. This last time, they fixed it completely. But every time we were having issues, we’ve always been able to get ahold of them. When I bought the house that I'm living in four years ago, it came with the Home Service Club Warranty that was paid for one year. When I make a claim, a phone call is easiest. I tell them my problem and they ask for my number, address, or account number. They also ask on when they can send somebody out, and that they will have the people call me and set that up.

HSC is one of the best investments I've made in buying a house. When you're buying an older house, there's a lot of things that break down. When I bought my house, I bought the home warranty with it and it was for a year then I decided to keep it. There was a break for a little while and then they called me back and I decided to go ahead and continue with it. It's been a blessing. It's been really, really good. The submitting part of the claim is very easy. It just takes a little bit of time. If you have patience, it's fine. I'm very happy with it. Fantastic.

In the last five years, they’ve improved everything a lot in the sense of getting the signal sent to the person to come out much faster. And, you don’t have to be on hold for long on the phone line. Then lately it’s been pretty black and white. They are up front to say what is not covered and if it is covered, you pay your $65 and the thing gets fixed. They have replaced appliances when it was shot and could be replaced.

The ceiling fan in the den just gave out recently. The vaulted ceiling made it impossible for me to even check it. With my warranty in hand, I called them and they arranged for a tech to come over. He was on time and nice and was able to get up there and replace a few wires. It popped back on when he was finished! He even wiped the blades clean for me. That is service!

My recent claim with the Home Service Club was for a refrigerator and fan. I filed it over the phone and the representatives were courteous and knowledgeable. I had the same problem with it a couple of times so I think it’s not because of HSC but the refrigerator but now it's doesn't seem to be a problem. We had a good contractor and the experience was great.

Their representatives are professional and courteous and they get back to me in a good time frame. Home Service Club is reasonable with what they cover and what they don't. I've had some other warranty companies that you pay for the warranty service but you have to arm wrestle everything that should be covered. HSC seems to be very honest and willing to do what they need to and take care of what they need to take care of.

Then, I did a lot of different comparisons, it seemed HSC was the best in my buck and they had some really good ratings. Everybody I spoke to was grateful and pleasant. I've been in my house a year and had to pay for a new furnace. They say it'd be good if I get a warranty on it for the appliances and stuff and I'd be okay for the next year. Home Service Club didn’t have a cap if something needed to be replaced. Most other companies have caps on with how much they would give to replace something if it broke down. I just got the warranty from them a month ago. The sales rep kept calling everyday and I didn't like that. But other than that, he was really nice. So far, my experience has been good. I hope that their reputation precedes them.

Submitting claims is very simple and easy, either online or by calling them, and interactions with their reps are always smooth. If the contractor they hired doesn't service my area, they usually get someone else on very quickly. The technicians are also very pleasant. They come, do the job, restore whatever is broken and they leave. They don't take too much time and their work is good. They're a great company with easy transactions and I highly recommend them.

When there is a family member with a walker or wheelchair the garage door opener becomes essential. Unfortunatetly, our insurance didn't agree. My cousin reminded me to call in our HSC plan and we were all back to moving around fairly quickly thereafter. It's great when the people you talk to about a problem get why it's a problem because they seem to be fast to help.

My water heater went out on a Friday and I filed a claim. Unfortunately the contractor was unavailable, but I was able to work with an excellent customer service supervisor who authorized us to use pick someone ourselves and let us know what would be needed to get reimbursed. We sent her the requested paperwork and received reimbursement for the covered repair.

We purchased a policy with the Home Service Club after buying our new home. A few months later we started having problems with the plumbing. All three toilets wouldn't flush and there was a strange, unpleasant odor coming from them. I called HSC and they were quite helpful. A professional came to the house and after his initial inspection told us that the repairs would've cost a fortune had we not had our policy! It took him a week, but the issues were fixed.

I had a doorbell for years that I didn't know about. Had an HSC plan for years that I didn't need, until one day a knife sales person tried to ring that doorbell I didn't know I had. It buzzed. Then it made a sound similar to a dying animal and it died. HSC got someone out to handle it fast. Now, I actually use the doorbell. It chimes instead of whines.

New neighbors can be so friendly and free with advice. The advice I heard in our new neighborhood the most was to have more coverage than your homeowners insurance offers. I shopped around and found HSC. Their help picking out the best plan made this whole process worth it. We've used it twice since buying it and that was one of the smoothest parts of owning this home.

I was wondering what my HSC plan was really for. I had encountered a problem with the renter's insurance one time while I was renting, so after seeing the basics and buying the plan, I called them. I may have spoken to the really nice woman on the phone for about an hour. She answered a lot of questions, helped me understand how best to use the plan, and when. She also shared a good secret for keeping my washer in good repair. Never once did I feel rushed or uncomfortable or like any of my questions didn't matter.

After buying my brother's house for him, he and his family lived there for a few more years. They left me the washer and dryer set they had been using. With a lot of children, you konw it got a lot of wear and tear. A week after I moved in they both broke. My brother had been paying for the HSC comprehensive as part of our original agreement for my buying the house in that sitaution. One phone call later and everything was setup.

Calling around to find the right handy man to do the repair job on a washer turned out to be unnecessary. We had picked up this plan but I forgot about it until I needed it. The agent I called took care of the whole process and a few days later I was washing laundry at home again. Buy it. Don't forget you have it. Use it. It is totally worth doing.

When my double oven broke I didn't even know it could be repaired. I was expecting to have to replace it. Not a horrible thing, just expensive when you've got a family. thankfully I knew who to call for a good contractor for the installation and they told me it might not need to be repaired. A part was orderd, the oven was fixed and all for less than the cost of a new one! I'm so glad I bought the HSC plan.

I am SO glad I have a home warranty! The water on my spa wasn't getting hot enough and the pump was making a loud noise. I spoke with Libby who was able to send a contractor out that specialized in home spas. The gentlemen, whose name is Craig, explained to me that the there was a low flow from the pump, which was why the water was not getting hot. He explained the reason behind the noise was because the bearing needed to be replaced. Craig had one in his truck and he took care of it.

HSC has so many great plans and coverage. We chose our plan and it fits right in our monthly budget. We always have a home warranty because you never know what can happen at anytime. When my jetted tub went kaput, I called for help. The service man came over on time and fixed it for me. I sit in that every day and I was panicking, but I am happy in my tub again.

Once when I needed to call in my HSC warranty I was cut off on the phone call. I learned when I called back they were dealing with a similar horrible storm. Despite this, their representative was generous about their time and good about helping resolve my problem. I called back a few days later to make sure the really nice people there were okay, despite the weather.

When my kitchen drain was clogged it started backing up from one side of the sink to the other. I used one of the super air cylinders to try to clear the clog. Wrong move. I called for service through my home warranty company, Home Service Club. They repaired all of the damage that a home-fix-it person should not mess with. I know I will renew my plan.

I have used my Home Service warranty plan several times over the past couple of years. They send different contractors or tech guys depending on the problem. I have always been pretty happy with the work since repairs were always complete. But the last guy that they sent went above and beyond what I thought I had on my plan. I don't know how they choose their contractors but whatever screening they do it has always been a great experience.
