Some experiences have been good, some have been awful. Labor day weekend, for instance, we had a leak develop in the plumbing underneath the house. They couldn't find an emergency plumber to come out and fix it, so we had to turn the water on and off from the street. It was a big hassle and they were not very polite about it. I could not believe they didn't have emergency contacts like that. They finally gave me permission to search for my own plumber and I called the one who's been doing my work for 20 years. He came and was able to get it fixed it a couple of days after Labor day. But when I asked them to come and do the pre-season tune ups on my furnace, they were on top of it.

They are very good. I've only used them once to get the re-key service that they provide for members. They connected us with the company that does the re-keying, charged us a fee for the service, and that was that. It was easy to set up and it was a good experience. That's about the only time I have contacted them.

I thought they were friendly until I got to the point when it was time for them to replace my messed up appliances. They weren't that helpful 'cause even though the say the want to make my day remarkable, their desire to do so decreased drastically when they found out that they had to fix or do something to solve my problem. I was having problems with my microwave not working, it was like it was having a short circuit and could've been a fire hazard. They guy that looked at it said that with all the parts it needed, fixing it would cost as much as replacing it, so they decided to go with that. At the same time, my dishwasher also needed to be replaced, and both the dishwasher and the microwave were stainless steel. They wanted to replace my dishwasher with a black one and my microwave with a white one when my entire kitchen was all stainless steel. They were going to make my kitchen rainbow! I had to go buy the microwave and dishwasher on my own because they wouldn't finish the job right.

We needed too use it once for a leak that we had in our AC pipe. They sent out Ego Air people to come and look at it. Every time they came, they sent somebody different, and each one told us the problem was a different thing. Sometimes they said it was a problem that wouldn't be covered and other times they said it would be covered. Landmark hasn't been able to get a hold of Ego Air yet to come and fix the problem, so we are still waiting on them.

They made an appointment for me, reached out to the subcontractor, and the subcontractor just came out here to fix the issue. They have been good ever since.

The customer support is good, I have no issues with them. Last time I used it was last month for H/VAC, air-conditioner and a heater check. They are good in general about waving the fee if the contractor doesn't show up and making sure you're always covered. That's pretty much it.

They've been excellent. The air conditioner went out one time and they were able to dispatch a service company out here. They did the job rather quickly and all but there were a few problems. When they came out and repaired the unit they said they would come back the next day because there was something else wrong with the unit. They were here later and I had to pay them again. But that wasn't Landmark's problem, they're good, but some of the contractors they deal with aren't... They need to keep a better eye on that.

They have been extremely attentive on the phone but our first experience wasn't that great. Between them and the company they referred us to to fix our air conditioner, it was a complete disaster. One company would blame the other one because they didn't get this, they didn't do that, or they said they already sent that, etc. That first experience was not very pleasant. Then, two weeks ago, our air conditioner quit working so we called them. It took them 2 days to get somebody out to fix it. It took a week of lollygagging for them to finally get the information they needed from Landmark to actually fix the air conditioner.

So far they've been doing pretty good. We had our outlet in the kitchen go out, so the set someone to come in. The electrician came in and fixed it pretty quickly, within 4-5 days actually. It has been really good and we haven't had any complains. We did get an issue with the subcontractor, but they took care of that and got us a new person.

I've only used the service a couple of times with two claims, but they have been helpful. A drain clogged, I contacted them, and they had somebody out the next day. It's an added peace of mind to know that you have insurance. It feels good to have that coverage.

Not all my claims were handled the first time in a satisfactory manner, but Landmark followed up to correct their mistakes. This good faith and going the extra mile warrants an "8". I would add with my recommendation to persevere on a claim not handled satisfactorily the first time, as Landmark will definitely follow thru to make it right

By the last issue I had. Nobody likes surprises and I feel I was deceived. What's covered and what's not should be clearly defined in 2 side by side columns, not hidden in a paragraph. Consumers don't know all the parts of their ac unit and the take advantage of that. They used to be #1 with me but now I'm not so sure if I will stay with them or not.

Every time I call, I talk to someone very friendly and very helpful. I actually used them for pest control, and they were able to connect me to a company and send a person out pretty quickly. There's one thing that I noticed though; my payments to Landmark were a little more expensive than what the pest control would have been.

It's been a satisfactory service so far. Our refrigerator stopped working once, and Landmark had another company come over and fix it. The other company made an appointment with us, and we just paid a trade fee and the service was done. Afterwards, Landmark followed up with us to make sure they did everything correctly, so it's all been good.

After doing the math, I realized it would've been cheaper for me to call an air-conditioner company and do it myself. I had to pay additional money for them to add Freon.

Customer service is very prompt to answer my calls and contacting the vendors. Plus. they always get back to me the same day. They just seemed very efficient, and always told me upfront how much it was going to cost, and what was going to happen. The only thing I don't like is that They're more expensive than other warranty companies out there.
