So far so good! I switched to Liberty Mutual for home insurance last month. They bundled my car insurance, too, and saved me about $20 per month from what I was paying at Geico. I haven't had to file a claim yet, but the coverage I have is good and I don't anticipate any issues with a claim either, based on my experience with talking with customer service so far. All the reps I've interacted with have been really helpful.

We live in an area in West Texas which gets rain maybe 4 weeks of the year. It is our monsoon season. Last year was a keeper. Not only did we get rain. We got hail. A lot of it. Too much of it. Our roof was damaged, it is a flat roof, ended up with a water leak between the walls and around the bay window. I called Liberty Mutual to let them know, filed a claim over the phone and the next day an adjuster was on the roof doing their thing. Within two days the roof was being replaced and the inside wall and insulation was being replaced, repaired, and painted. Within a weeks time an amazing job was completed. Outstanding service from beginning to end, and to top it all off, I would receive phone calls from Liberty Mutual just checking in to see how things were going. Awesome!!!

The customer service is great. One time I called because I had Cash App take out money from my account unexpectedly. Found out a person I let use my card to get a drink from 7/11 took a picture of my card then put my info into the Cash app and sent them selves money over and over again until my account was completely wiped out and $400 negative. Liberty Mutual moved my payment on the back end of my policy. It helped me while I was working with Cash app and my bank to recover the lost funds.

Liberty Mutual was my company for 10 years. I had 3 claims during that time and I paid all of them with no problem our questions asked. There is no better company than libertine mutual. They do have higher premiums but you get what you pay for. I have used some companies with lower premium but the hassle they put me through to pay a claim was not worth it. If you get liberty mutual I promise you’ll be happy!!!

Liberty Mutual stuck by me when i was hit by an uninsured driver! Had a flood in my bathroom, 2 weeks after I bought my condo and,the water was everywhere. I thought I would be cancelled by Liberty Mutual , for my homeowners insurance but, they were great, understanding and took the stress out of my situation!

I used this company when I brought my 1st house years ago the rates were reasonable however the customer service was a bit nerving, sometimes my payments weren't showing up on their end, once they even mistaken my last name with another customer with a similar last name which caused a huge issue. We had been with Liberty Mutual Insurance for the past 3+ years at our second home in the mountains and were very happy with their service and insurance costs. They raised their premium this past year and could not compete with our new insurance company with matching coverages and deductibles. The sad part of this whole situation is that we had never filed a claim. I do suggest at least getting a quote from them as their customer service is professional and courteous even when I told them I was cancelling our insurance with them. When inquiring about making changes with our policy, they were very helpful and assisted us in changing our deductibles and our cost limits. I will check with LM each year to see if the are the best match for our needs.

Liberty Mutual stiffed my family of four when our house flooded. We found a cleanup vendor and asked Liberty if they accepted the vendor. They said "sure," they worked with them "all the time," and that the vendor was "not a problem" ... Until they got the bill, at which point they stiffed the vendor, which is now going after my family for the balance. All because Liberty decided it was better to save a buck and benefit their shareholders. The day they get shut down for the ponzi scheme that they are, I will be jubilant and dancing in the streets. Until that day, I'll probably be LIVING in the streets, along with my wife and children.

I had my car and home insurance with Liberty Mutual. I bought a used pickup truck, added it online to my policy after getting a quote for an additional $70 a month. After 3 weeks I canceled the car insurance so just my truck and house were on the bill. The issues I had were related to extra fees I was charged along with the customer service being subpar. I got charged $130 the first month. Then I was charged $300 the second month after cancelling the car within a couple weeks. In between they had a policy renewal where they upped my rates too. I called customer service twice...Last week I called and was hearing myself echo back at me. So I asked it there was anything they could do (How about just picking up the phone if it was your headset?) but ended the call when they said no....Called the second time today and waited over 60 minutes before talking to them, we chatted and they ended up refunding me some of the the money and I cancelled both home and car insurance though them.

I referred to from the experian that says my name, don’t overpay more for insurance check the best match and suggestions when I checked , I have got over 100 calls all is automated 3th party that transfers you getting your information the next thing I see is a lots of lenders emailing me the electronic signature need it for your loan . When Chase returned my payment I was livid because I had deposited a $5000 cashiers check but sent the payment back and I didn’t know , when I found out I tried to pay it and they wouldn’t let me pay it online then they made me pay the entire year to keep my insurance.

I had to contact them because a contractor damaged property at one of our units and so far they have refused to pay out damages even though the contractor admitted he and his workers did the damage. Pricing is comparable to other companies however when the time comes to cover you for roof damage due to wind and hail, this policy will not cover anything. Moreover it will count any call as a claim that will make your premium go higher. Would not recommend.
